Healthy Slow Cooker Chicken Tikka Masala

STEP 1

Start by sauteing onion, jalapeño and garlic

STEP 2

Add it to a slow cooker with crushed tomatoes, ginger & lemon juice

STEP 3

Add garam masala, cayenne pepper, paprika, turmeric, curry powder & salt

STEP 4

Stir the spices in, then add chicken, cover and cook

STEP 5

Once the chicken is cooked, shred it and add it back to the slow cooker

STEP 6

Stir in light coconut milk, then cover and let the sauce thicken up

Serve with rice, naan, cilantro & a little yogurt!
