I created the most perfect banana oatmeal pancakes back in 2019 and you all loved it SO much that I had to give it a re-share. First, can we admire my poetry of 2019?!
“My mission in life is to become the Queen of Healthy Pancakes, mother of oat flour, first of her name, the Queen of Sunday Morning Brunch, Tahini Queenie, Cinnamon Roll Goddess, along with some other titles.
If you have no idea what any of that is referring to, then let’s just move along. For those of you that get it, then you know that Game of Thrones is always on my mind. BEST SHOW EVER (especially after last night!)”
Ah, the good old days GoT.
Anyway, let’s move on to these deliciously fluffy, healthy pancakes: BANANA OATMEAL PANCAKES made right in your blender. Can you believe it? There’s no flour, no butter, no sugar or any kind of sweetener added. Which means these pancakes are made for anyone, including kids!
I can’t wait to hear how you like these healthy banana oatmeal pancakes. They’re seriously one of my favorite breakfast recipes with a drizzle of peanut butter and a little pure maple syrup on top.
Ingredients in banana oatmeal pancakes
These gluten free banana pancakes are easy to make, SO delicious and happen to be an awesome post-workout breakfast because they’re packed with healthy complex carbs and 12g protein per serving. Here’s what you’ll need to make them:
- Bananas: super ripe bananas give the pancakes their natural sweetness. Make sure they have lots of brown spots!
- Eggs: you’ll need 2 eggs in this pancake recipe.
- Milk: add moisture with any milk you’d like. I typically use unsweetened almond milk.
- Oats: instead of using regular flour, these healthy banana pancakes are made with rolled oats! Feel free to use gluten free rolled oats.
- Pancake staples: you’ll also need baking powder to allow the pancakes to get nice and fluffy, plus some cinnamon, vanilla extract & salt for flavor. Learn how to make your own vanilla here!
Customize your pancakes
These healthy banana oatmeal pancakes are easy to make and easy to customize! Here are some great ways to make them your own:
- Mix-ins: after making the batter feel free to fold in your fav mix-ins like chopped pecans, diced banana, or even chocolate chips.
- Toppings: what’s a stack of fluffy pancakes without toppings?! I love adding pecans, banana slices and a drizzle of peanut butter + pure maple syrup. A dollop of yogurt would also be delicious!
- Make minis: make cute little mini pancakes by dropping just 1-2 tablespoons of batter onto your griddle at a time! You can also try these baby banana pancakes that are smaller and great for toddlers and babies.

Get ready for the easiest pancake recipe in the world, and remember to get all of our tips & tricks for making pancakes here!
- Blend the ingredients. Yes, you’ll literally add all of the ingredients to a blender, and blend on high until smooth!
- Let batter sit. You’ll then want to let the batter sit in your blender for about 2 minutes while you heat up your pan.
- Cook & flip. Add olive oil or coconut oil to a griddle or large nonstick pan and place over medium heat. Add pancake batter 1/3 cup at a time and cook for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and tiny bubbles appear around the edges. Flip and cook 2 minutes more.
- Serve & devour. Serve pancakes with fresh fruit and a drizzle of pure maple syrup if you’d like!
How to keep pancakes warm
You can absolutely make these banana oatmeal pancakes ahead of time and keep them warm in the oven. Simply place oven at 200 degrees F, then add pancakes to a platter or oven-safe plate and place in the oven until ready to serve.
Freezer-friendly banana pancakes
If you really want to make your pancakes ahead of time and serve them at a later date, you can place the pancakes on a baking sheet so they aren’t touching and place them in the freezer for 30 minutes. Finally, place them in freezer safe bags or containers and freeze them for up to 3 months. Once ready to reheat, simply add pancakes to a plate and microwave for 30-60 seconds or until warm.

125 Ridiculously Good For You, Sometimes Indulgent, and Absolutely Never Boring Recipes for Every Meal of the Day
Healthy Banana Oatmeal Pancakes (made in the blender!)
Ingredients
- 2 medium ripe bananas (best when they have lots of brown spots)
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups old fashioned rolled oats, gluten free if desired
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Olive oil, for cooking
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend on high until completely smooth, about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Let the batter sit in your blender while you heat your pan up.
- Lightly coat a griddle with coconut oil, vegan butter or olive oil and place over medium heat. Once pan is hot, add 1/3 cup of the batter to the griddle for each pancake and cook for 2-4 minutes until pancakes slightly puff up and you see a few bubbles along the edges.
- Flip cakes and cook until golden brown on underside. If you find that pancakes are browning too quickly then you need to lower the heat. I normally start on medium heat, then decrease to medium low later so that my pancakes don't burn. If at any point your griddle starts smoking, it means your pan is too hot.
- Wipe skillet clean and repeat with more oil and remaining batter. Makes 9 pancakes total. Serves 3, 3 pancakes each.

So I need to make these like now and it’s 8.52pm. They look so amazing and so yummy! Can’t wait to make then soon!
I’m all about breakfast for dinner (or dessert!) Hope you love them 🙂
Best pancakes I’ve had in a long time!! I added chocolate chips to mine!!
YAY!! Happy they turned out delish!
Can I use oat flour instead?
Hi! That would be fine I think, you may just need to reduce the amount a bit!
Do you think this would work with a flax egg substitute? I’m allergic to eggs and these look amazing!
great question! personally i haven’t tried it but i think it might work if you add 2 tablespoons flaxseed meal and 1/4 cup extra almond milk to the blender.
Before I read this comment, I had already started making flax eggs the traditional way: 1 tb ground flaxseeds for 3 tbs water (I doubled this for the 2 eggs called for in the recipe). I don’t if it’s because the ground flaxseeds absorb a lot of liquid: I had to increase the amount of almond milk because the batter was not thin at all and the pancake didn’t cook evenly inside.
That happened to me too when I tried chia eggs, darn it! Pancakes were still edible but kind of gluey and weird in texture.
Loved it…and so did my kids. And super simple to make too…a deviation from my usual wheat pancakes..I used instant Quaker oats…and it came out just as nice. Thank you.
Perfect! So happy to hear that!
Great recipe for my almost 2 year old toddler. I never have time to stand at the stove flipping pancakes anymore so I just poured the batter into a 9×13 pan and baked it at 350F for around 25ish minutes. Worked awesome. Thanks!
Love that idea! Sheet pan pancakes are the way to go 🙂
Could I use steel cut oats instead of old fashioned rolled oats? I read that they produce different amounts of oat flour so I was wondering what quantity of steel cut oats would be appropriate.
Can’t wait to try!
I wouldn’t recommend it as it will change the texture quite a bit in the pancakes!
Amazing! My new favorite pancake recipe.
So happy to hear that!
For the record, flax eggs do not work for me on this recipe. The regular recipe is great! Though I prefer egg free
What is the measurement for 2 medium bananas? I’m looking forward to making these, yum!
About 1 cup mashed banana. Enjoy!
The texture on these???! So yummy. Love the sweetness the banana adds. I don’t even need syrup, love having with some microwaved blueberries on top and a side of eggs.
I’m so glad you love them! Thanks, Sofie! 🙂
I’m totally going to make these for my 8 month old.
Perfect! Such a great breakfast for kiddos.
I’m not sure what I did wrong but these would not remain in pancake form. They were definitely tasty but a complete mess, We’re my bananas too ripe? Should I add another egg? They would not hold. I cooked in a stainless steel skillet, was that the problem? How do I get them to hold? Can I bake in a sheet pan instead? My son and I loved them but we basically ate scrambled banana eggs.
Oh no!! No idea what happened… Do you have a high-powered blender (like a Vitamix) that fully processed all the ingredients into a batter consistency?
These are the world’s GREATEST pancake. They’re almost better reheated! I’ve put them in my toaster so it’s like a banana oat eggo. Would highly recommend the toaster trick 🙂
YES the toaster trick is the best! So happy you loved these ones 🙂
Thanks for this great receipt!! These are a great healthy alternative. I will definitely be trying the toaster trick as stated in other comments. Thanks again 🙂
Recipe**
Perfect! Let me know how it goes!
There is a banana allergy in my family. I am thinking of subbing with sweet potatoes. I would also like to know the approximate measurement of the bananas. Thanks
Personally I would try 3/4 cup!
Thanks for the tip. I will be making these pancakes tomorrow for breakfast.
Thanks again.
About 1 cup mashed banana!
Just made these pancakes and they turned out great.
Thanks
Amazing! Glad you enjoyed.
Since I’ve changed my eating habits to eating “cleaner”, I’ve been dying for some pancakes! I haven’t had any since they are flour based, so this is at the top of my list to make this week! Thank you!!
Perfect timing!! Hope you love these ones 🙂
I love healthy pancakes for supper. Plan on these for my next batch. Curious why you don’t include the sodium content in the nutritional information?
Love breakfast for dinner! It hasn’t been something I’ve ever had in the nutrition calculation, but you’re free to add the ingredients to a calculator, too, if need be.
Holly smokes !!! These are absolutely fantastic – and easy to make on a weekday morning!
Yes! The perfect weekday breakfast 🙂
Can you tell me what you mean by « old fashion rolled oats »? I used Quaker Quick Oats but am concerned I’m not getting the complex carbs.
These are the Quaker version of old fashioned rolled oats 🙂
I followed the recipe but for some reason the mixture turned out really wet so the “pancake” was really mushy
Sorry to hear that! I’m not exactly sure what happened. It’s possible that either your bananas were too big or too ripe/wet. You could try adding a few extra tablespoons of oats, or allow the batter to sit for 5-10 mins. before making the pancakes so that the oats absorb more of the moisture.
YUM!!! My nephew loves pancakes and he would eat these up!
You should 100% make these for him! They’re amazing 🙂
Love these so much! Made them for kids and they loved them too!
Perfect! I’m glad they loved them 🙂
Would you have to adjust batter for waffles? I’ve been looking for banana oatmeal waffle recipe.
I‘m not sure it would work well for waffles but someday soon I’ll test it out and report back!
These work great as waffles, no adjustment to recipe needed. To be honest, that’s our favorite way to make these. I do leave them in the waffle maker for an extra minute or so before taking them out.
Amazing! I’m so glad 🙂
Yummy! These were so easy and so amazing. Thanks for a great breakfast boost!
Glad you liked them! My new favorite breakfast too 🙂
Best pancakes ever!
So glad you love them!
Sounds delicious! Can you bananas that you’ve frozen? Does it change anything in the recipe/process?
They are! I would thaw the bananas first. you may just need to use slightly less milk since frozen bananas usually hold more moisture.
Are you supposed to cook before freezing?
Yes, cook your pancakes first and then feel free to freeze them for later if you want!
Great receipe, made these this evening and they were amazing!! Topped mine with fresh nectarines, mulberries and a drizzle of honey!
That sounds incredible! Glad you enjoyed 🙂
Used two frozen bananas, followed the rest of the recipe as written. They are easy and delicious.
Perfect! Glad you liked them. The perfect breakfast 🙂
I made these the last two Sunday mornings and they are divine! These are the easiest and best tasting GF pancakes I have ever made and definitely a staple in my pancake routine now. This time, I added blueberries to the batter and they were SO GOOD. my husband and I both loved them. Thanks Monique!
Amazing! So happy to hear that Sara 🙂 LOVE adding blueberries.
I made this recipe this morning for breakfast and they are so good! I didn’t have any maple syrup lying around but the next time I make these pancakes, I will DEFINITELY be putting maple syrup on them. Thanks!
So happy you’re loving them, Henley! And YES maple syrup is a must for me 🙂 Can’t wait for you to make them again!
These are really delicious and extremely easy to make! I added a bit more vanilla extract and cinnamon but other than that followed it to the tee!
Thank you so much for sharing!
Perfect! Glad you love these Larissa 🙂
tres tres bon crepes bravo
c’est une des meilleurs recettes de crepes que j’ai manger bravo et merci
Glad you enjoyed! 🙂
Love this recipe. I make this when I’m meal prepping and freeze it for easy access. I make this one and the pumpkin blender pancakes. Great recipes.
Do you think it would be ok to use instant oats instead of steel cut? That is all I have at home, I can go buy some steel cut but I would rather use what I already have.
I would stick to the recipe and use rolled oats, but if you do use instant, let us know how it turns out — you may just need to add a little more!
These were so delicious! Thanks for the great recipe.
Absolutely! The perfect breakfast.
How much chocolate chip should I use for the recipe?
1/4 cup should be great!
Made these for a house guest I had who is gluten free and they were very tasty! Taste like banana bread. Will be making again for my family just because they taste so yummy. Had a couple of left over pancakes so I froze them to see how they turned out in toaster next day and it worked a treat. Lovely recipe.
So happy to hear that! I love freezing a batch for later, too 🙂
Hi Monique! I am soooo happy I found your recipe. I am a busy mother of 3 and just recently started having issues with gluten. When I read your recipe, it looked so easy and delicious. And it was!!! My children loved it and they can be picky eaters sometimes. So thanks for the recipe, I loved it. I will try it without eggs and use chia seeds instead so it will be vegan.
Hi Christine! I’m so glad you found this recipe and that the kiddos loved it. Thanks for your note and rating – let me know how these go with chia seeds!
Sorry I forgot to rate the recipe ;-).
Could you put this batter in a loaf pan and bake it?
I haven’t tried that, but I don’t think so. Pancake batter is generally much thinner than muffin or bread batter.
Perfect! So glad these are kiddo-approved 🙂 We’re working on a fix for the stars, too – thank you for the heads up!
So happy you found these ones! Love a good breakfast for dinner 🙂 Try these muffins, too, – great for milk supply.
I love your recipe!!! Super easy! Can the batter be saved for the next day?
So happy to hear that! I haven’t tried it, but I’m sure it could!
Hi I just made these and they were still wet from the inside no matter how long I cooked. Are they supposed to be like that because of the bananas? I used half recipe and frying pan instead of griddle.. does that make a difference? Thanks
It could be perhaps because you halved the recipe or that your bananas were too moist/overly ripe. I’m not sure why they wouldn’t cook, as no one else has had this issue! Make sure to cook over medium heat, not high heat and I suggest making the entire recipe to ensure success next time!
I just made these with some chocolate chips inside with PB on top and LET ME TELL YOU! I’m never going back to regular pancakes after that. They are so easy and delicious!
YUM that sounds amazing! Glad you enjoyed 🙂
Made them this morning and they turned out perfect! I used unsweetened vanilla oat milk in place of almond milk and did not add the vanilla. Used my cuisinart griddler set to 350 degrees and they were perfect-all of them! I like that they use oats instead of wheat flour. Glad I found your site, I will be trying other recipes.
Amazing! So glad you found this recipe, and I hope you find more that you love 🙂
Just made these and added blueberries to them….Wow they were so delicious!! Took no time st all to make… will definitely make these again!!
Perfect!! So easy and delicious 🙂
Amazing! So happy to hear that. We’re working on a fix for the stars – thank you for the heads up!
I was looking for a quick and easy GF/DF pancake that I can enjoy when my family has pancakes. These are great. I enjoyed them with s smear of Peanut butter and some mixed berries on top. They are fluffy and everything a pancake should be. I wish my blender was bigger so I could make these for everyone!
Perfect! So happy you found these ones. Love them with a little PB on top 🙂
These look so good but I currently
Only have steel cut oats instead of rolled. Do you think those would work as well?
Unfortunately I do not think it will work. Steel cut oats are different from rolled oats so you will end up with a much different, and likely inedible end result.
Made these this morning for breakfast and it was a great success!! Our 10 year old son loved them as well!! Super yummy pancakes and… they are healthy! I mean; what more do you want 🙂
Would rate it at 5 stars but can’t click on the stars…
Amazing! So happy to hear that. We’re working on a fix for the stars, but thank you for your note 🙂
I follow the recipe and came out like gum and raw. Not making this again. What a waste of ingredients.
Sorry to hear you had trouble with the recipe, as others have had much success. I would suggest trying again and making sure your baking powder is fresh and new!
I love it!!
Pncake banna is my favorite 😀
Made these today, with a couple of tweaks! I doubled the recipe in this way and use weight for most since I track macros:
* 359g banana – 3 VERY ripe bananas (another day they’d probably be trash lol)
* 240g of oats (based on the 1/2 in gram measurement on package, I did that to get to 2 cups but since I weigh, I’ve no idea if it was actually 2 measuring cups full)
* 215g Crushed pineapple (to be honest I had some leftover from another recipe – so probably around 1/3 or 1/2 cup)
* 3 whole large eggs,
* 30g liquid egg white
I used Califia Farms toasted coconut almond milk (1 cup)
Doubled the rest of the stuff
This gave me about 16.5 pancakes (I used an ice cream scoop for consistent sizing and because I track macros). These have more carbs than I’d normally like, especially compared to protein… BUT, I made some egg whites and Canadian bacon on the side to balance. Served with some fresh blueberries and sugar free maple syrup (I KNOW I KNOW, but #goals)
Thanks for this! Moist and delicious. I plan on freezing the rest for easy meal prep breakfasts!
So glad that you liked this one! 🙂 perfect for freezing too!
Hi Jen,
Can you tell me what the macros were on these? Also what was the serving size?
Thank you 🙂
Delicious and filling! Only problem I had was removing all the batter from my blender. I didn’t want to waste any of it!
Glad you enjoyed! Those blenders can be tricky – I’d recommend a small spatula for the last bits 🙂
easy and delicious just how i like it!
The best!! Glad you like them!
these are the best pancakes! my 1 year old absolutely loves them – pretty sure they’re her favorite food! i make these on a very regular basis, and keep them in the freezer for a quick and delicious breakfast (for the whole family 🙂)
wondering if these could be made into muffins? or if you have another toddler-friendly muffin recipe you’d recommend… just for a slightly more on-the-go option!!
Amazing! So happy to hear that. I have tons of delicious muffin recipes that are perfect for kiddos. These are my favorite and you’ll find all of my muffin recipes here!
Absolutely loved this recipe. My wife woke up wanting oatmeal and I wanted french toast. So I saw this and it was super easy, quick and delicious. I did substitute almond milk with vanilla soy milk but it came out wonderfully. These are now my favorite go to breakfast since they literally take minutes to prepare, cook and serve. Awesomely simple but delicious!
Amazing! So happy you two loved them!
These are so yummy! It’s nice to be able to eat pancakes-knowing they are actually healthy! Thanks Monique! And wishing you all the best on the birth of your baby boy 💕
Absolutely! And thanks so much, Jenny 🙂
Love this recipe it is my favorite . I also make stove jam when I make this. 1 cup fresh berries 2 tsp sugar cook oon medium 15 minutes cool for 15 min
Delicious! Love that idea.
Hi! Love all your recipes! They’re a life saver. First time trying one of your pancake recipes. Can you sub regular milk in place of the almond milk?
Hi Anna! Glad you’re loving the recipes here 🙂 and yes, feel free to use regular milk!
This looks amazing and exactly what I’m looking for. Question, going camping in a few days…can I make the batter at home and then actually cook the pancakes while camping? Would the batter last in the fridge/cooler for two days?
Hi, Brea! I usually don’t recommend making the batter ahead of time, since the baking powder’s power wears off and they don’t rise well. I’d recommend mixing the dry ingredients + wet ingredients separately at home, and then mixing them together right before cooking them when you’re camping!
This pancake recipe is soooooo good!
Glad you loved these!!
yummiest and definitely easiest pancake recipe i’ve made in a while! added 2 scoops of collagen peptides and some chocolate chips! so good ate them as i cooked them (also because my 4 mo old can only wait on mommy to play for so long lol) can’t wait until she can eat them too!
Love that! These will be perfect for your little girl, too 🙂 glad you enjoyed!
Wow, how EASY and DELICIOUS?! I almost never write reviews but holy cow that was amazing! Thanks!!
So glad you loved them! Thanks for the review, Marina 🙂
Just made these today since I wanted to use my ripe bananas. I added Half chocolate chips and half blueberries. Sooooooo good! I can’t stop eating them!
Yum! The perfect breakfast 🙂
These pancakes are amazing and so easy to make! My kids are super picky and they gobbled them up! Thank you Ambitious Kitchen
So happy to hear that! Such a great breakfast 🙂
Delicious! My 3year old daughter loved them.
So happy to hear that!
Delicious! Everyone in the family including my 2.5 year old loved them. I added hemp hearts and chia seeds for a little extra health boost 🙂 Will be a new morning staple – super easy and yummy.
Amazing! So happy to hear that 🙂
These pancakes were delicious and so easy to make! My family loved them and we didn’t even put syrup on the pancakes, just a bit of butter. The best part is that everything is made in a blender so there’s practically no mess. Absolutely delicious and healthy, too! I’ll be making these again for sure.
OMG – these are so good & so easy! Just started a clean eating program and cut out all sugar – these made me so happy. And – the husband didn’t even realize they were gluten, dairy, & sugar free.
So glad you found these! One of my all time favorite pancake recipes 🙂
I made these yesterday morning and made enough to freeze as well. I don’t like oats at all but they taste amazing in the pancakes and you can’t really taste the oats to much. I will be reheating the rest today for breakfast.
Really good recipe and easy to make.
I love freezing pancakes! Great idea 🙂 so happy you liked these!
These were the perfect texture and flavour. I halved the recipe and added a teaspoon of custard powder. Thank you so much for this recipe.
Perfect! So glad you enjoyed!
This has become my go-to pancake recipe. So simple and full of good stuff! And I always have the ingredients. I sometimes add in blueberries or chocolate chips
Amazing! So happy to hear that. Love these with blueberries or chocolate chips!
These pancakes are absolutely delicious! I substituted the eggs with two flax eggs to make them vegan. By doing that I noticed it thickened the batter, so next time I plan to add a little extra almond milk or water to get a better consistency.
The flax eggs will tend to change the consistency a bit but I’m glad you enjoyed them regardless!
Wow! They were delicious I did only one banana and added a flaxegg instead and topped it off with strawberries and shredded coconut with chia seeds and maple syrup. So yummy ! Definitely will be making them more. They’re super easy to make! Thanks so much for the recipe!
So glad those swaps worked out well! Perfect breakfast 🙂
Made these yesterday for my kids breakfast – big hit. And I’m delighted there basically eating porridge (Something they won’t eat) plus an egg. The added bonus of chucking it all in the nutribullet for minimal mess, It’s a win for this mamma. I followed the recipe to a T with gluten free oats, upped the cinnnamon to a heavy tsp- that’s it. Thanks
The perfect, healthy breakfast! I’m so glad the kiddos loved them 🙂
I’ve made these 4 times since popping up on this recipe in December 2019. Love them. Easy to make, tastes great , freezes well and travels great. My new breaky staple. Making some now lol.
So happy to hear that! They’re my absolute go-to, too 🙂
I used oat flour and mixed everything by hand and this recipe is perfect!!
Perfect! So glad you loved them!
The best oat pancakes ive ever made and 100% this is the recipe that makes me want to make other recipes from this website. Two thumbs up 😁
So happy to hear that, Angela! I hope you find more recipes here that you love 🙂
This banana pancake recipe was delicious and very easy to make. We really enjoyed these
So happy to hear that!
Delicious! I used coconut milk because I had no almond milk on hand. Made 8 pancakes, four for me and four for my husband. We will definitely have these again! Thank you for sharing!
Yum! Glad the coconut milk worked out well!
These are so delicious, easy, and healthy! Thank you so much! I also love how not flat they are lol
Absolutely! Fluffy pancakes are the best 🙂
i was looking for a tasty healthy recipe for me that was also baby friendly and this is it!
Perfect! I’m glad you found these!
This is a great recipe! I’ve made some healthier style pancakes before and they are nice but texture can be a bit funny etc. Whereas these taste delicious and have a great consistency. Love that you can just chuck it all into the nutribullet too!
So happy you found this recipe! Easy and delicious 🙂
I have been making these for awhile with just eggs, oats and banana. But you perfected it. 💖
Love that! Great minds think alike 🙂
Hello- I literally just made these pancakes to share with my husband; we both loved them! It isnt too sweet so we were able to eat three each…! (thats 3x more than we would usually have!). A very simple recipe, thank you for sharing this. I love the idea that everything goes in at once into the blender…then its like BAM…lets cook! I added in a few chocolate chips on top…as we dont use maple syrup. Thanks again…the hubby has put in a request for them again!! 🙂
Hi! So happy you found this recipe – such a great breakfast and perfect with chocolate chips 🙂
I found something that my baby likes!!!
Thank you so much for sharing this recipe ❤️
I added prune to help my constipated baby
I’m so happy to hear that! The perfect breakfast.

this was so easy and tasty! thanks so much!
Absolutely! Glad you enjoyed!
These are so good and so easy! They’re my go to pancake recipe. I sometimes add spinach to the batter! When I reheat frozen ones, I throw them in the toaster so they don’t get soggy! So good!
So glad you love them! The toaster trick is a game changer 🙂
These are the easiest most delicious pancakes I have ever made!! The only thing keeping hubby and I sane during the Covid19 quarantine! I’ve made them several time since being locked in! Thank you for making these so practical and delicious, Monique!
So happy to hear that! Perfect breakfast (or breakfast for dinner!)
absolutely delicious! Super simple to make too! Thank you!
So happy you loved them!
Made these this morning, They are really lovely. Light, fluffy, full of flavour & very filling. So simple also.
I needed to use up some bananas and rather than making the usual banana bread, I opted for these. They did not disappoint.
Perfect! So glad you loved them!
Made the flax egg the way Monique suggested in the comments. These were amazing. Made about 10 for me. I used large flake oats as that’s all I had. I’m trying to use ewht I have right now. Thanks Monique. Another grand slam recipe from you!
Perfect! Glad they turned out amazing!
These turn out perfect every time, new favorite pancake recipe!
So happy to hear that! They’re my favorites, too 🙂
I make this all the time for my boyfriend and he can’t tell the difference that it’s healthy and gluten free!! So easy, fluffy, and delicious. Thanks for sharing!!!
So happy to hear that! The perfect breakfast 🙂
My go-to recipe for healthy pancakes, and requested by my husband once a week. What I love – easy ingredients and no mess, everything goes into one blender jar. Thanks for the great recipe!
Amazing! So happy to hear that.
These were SO GOOD. It was easy and quick to make, it didn’t use too many dishes, the taste was phenomenal, and I didn’t even feel bad for eating pancakes cause the ingredients are so wholesome. I topped mine with a peach compote and some peanut butter.
The perfect breakfast! Sounds delicious with peach compote 🙂
An amazing recipe for a healthy breakfast. I added a little bit of vanilla sugar (just a teaspoon) since I didn’t have vanilla extract.
The pancakes turned out sweet and tasty!
Perfect! Glad you loved them!
I tried this today. So good! I shared this recipe to my family and to other people I know. Thanks for the recipe!
Amazing! So happy to hear that 🙂
Made them this morning with banana slices and drizzled with honey. My son and I had a feast. Yummy 😋
Delicious! So happy you both enjoyed 🙂
This is the absolute best healthy recipe I’ve made! It’s incredibly easy to make and the pancakes taste delicious. I personally hate all of the ingredients – bananas, oats, eggs – I couldn’t imagine eating them all together. Best recipe ever!
I’m glad you loved them regardless!
I used a cast iron pan and the inside was still moist/undercooked looking. I still ate it and no stomachache 😀
I was skeptical about making these because healthy recipes usually don’t end up tasting so good but OMG these were amazing!! Finally a healthy recipe that actually tastes GREAT!! I didn’t even add any syrup or honey or anything on top, I just ate them as is and they were so good! The only difference is I seared the pan with butter instead of olive oil (only a little bit) because I wanted it to taste more like a dessert. Thanks for sharing this delicious and healthy recipe! I will be making these pancakes forever now.
So happy you gave these a try! My absolute favorites 🙂 and delicious with butter!
I followed your recipe to the T and it turned out sssooooooo amazing! And exactly 9 pancakes turned out! Such a good recipe and toooooo yummyyyyy! I made a pear and apple compote to go with it and drizzles some organic honey o the pancakes. It was heaven!
So happy to hear that! Pear & apple compote sounds delicious 🙂
These are amazing. If you have leftover batter put it in a freezer safe container and freeze it! Then when you want some let it thaw over night in the fridge and set it out while you heat your pan. I put a spin on mine and added sliced bananas and walnuts before I flipped!
Great idea! Love that 🙂
Great recipe! They are a little tough to flip, making them a little thinner/spreading them out or cooking longer helped
Glad you enjoyed! And yes, feel free to spread them a bit before flipping 🙂
Hi! Was wondering if steel cut oats would work in this recipe?
Hi! I wouldn’t recommend it as the texture won’t really be the same.
These were delicious!! I sprinkled some vegan chocolate chips on the pancakes while they were in the pan, YUM! Thanks for the recipe!
Perfect! Glad you enjoyed 🙂
These pancakes are always in my freezer. I make a batch every few weeks to have on hand for breakfast for my little girl. I add flax seed meal and spinach to mine and she just loves them! I love all of the healthy ingredients and knowing that these pancakes help to start the day off right.
Amazing! So happy to hear you both love these 🙂
These pancakes are delicious!!! I halved the recipe to make it for 1 – perfect. And all of the ingredients fit well in my single serve ninja blender. Love!!!
Amazing! The perfect breakfast 🙂
I added flax seeds, chia seeds, extra cinnamon and milk and it was delicious!! Saving this recipe to make again in the future 🙂
I’m glad that worked out well! Such a great breakfast 🙂
These are absolutely delicious pancakes! I make batches and refrigerate to give to my granddaughter who can’t get enough of them. They are so good!
Perfect! So happy to hear that 🙂
Great recipe, very easy, I loved that you do it in the blender and from there to the stove, so neat. They were delicious! After blending I added a few blueberries cut on pieces. Thank you!!!
So easy! Glad you love them!
These are amazing!! Made them for breakfast
today. SO quick, easy and delish. My 10 month old loved them. Will definitely make again considering doubling to freeze some but they are just that quick and easy. Thank you!
Amazing! So happy to hear that. Such a great breakfast for kiddos 🙂
This are awesome pancakes. Really delicious and easy to make. We have made them every weekend since trying them!
Love that! The perfect weekend brunch.
Really nice pancakes! Incredibly easy to make in the blender. Thank you for the recipe!
So happy you loved them!
Amazing pancakes I topped them with almond butter and blueberries so delicious!
Yum! Glad you loved these 🙂
These were very easy and tasty. Best non white flour recipe I’ve had so far, and it was nice I didn’t need a combination of different flours! While I’m not gluten free, I prefer not to use refined flour when possible. I’ve already shared the recipe with friends! I made as written, next time I might try with the sweet potato or flax egg! Thank YOU!
Amazing! So happy to hear that 🙂
These pancakes were delicious! To make it vegan I used 1/3 cup apple sauce instead of eggs. The rise was great. Thanks for sharing!
I’m glad that worked out well! Perfect breakfast 🙂
THESE ARE SO GOOD! Might be the only way I make pancakes from now on. Blending everything up could not be easier, and they come out so fluffy!
So easy!! Glad you enjoyed 🙂
Going to try to make these tomorrow! I know you said in your insta live that you wouldn’t recommend using a food processor, but I broke our blender by accidentally blending (unsuccessfully) a whisky stone while making a smoothie. Oops! Fingers crossed it works because they look soooo good!
They were amazing!! (and again, husband approved)
So happy to hear that!
Whoops! Let me know how they go in a food processor!
They totally worked in the food processor! I have the smaller size so had to do it in steps. Started with the oats, added the bananas, the eggs, then everything else. Didn’t seemed to have affected the outcome of the batter 👌🏻
Perfect!! Happy to hear that 🙂
AMAZING! And so easy! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed!!
My daughter is almost 12 and loving being in the kitchen lately. She made your recipe for the whole family (doubling it) for breakfast this morning and these were some of the most delicious pancakes I’ve ever eaten… and I love that they are healthier than most recipes too!! I am holding on to this recipe, we will definitely be making it again. Thank you so much!
Amazing! So happy to hear that!
These are great! I love how they are soooooo easy to make and do not require flour. A friend shared this recipe and I have since shared it with other friends.
Absolutely! So glad you love them!
Delicious!
Glad you enjoyed!
I don’t even like pancakes, but these were so good and I can’t wait to make them again! A huge hit with my family! And so easy!
Amazing! I’m glad you loved them!
Hey Monique!
I tried making these pancakes at home today. They tasted amazing! but they didn’t puff up like the Betty Crocker ones do. Next time should I put more baking powder? Or was there anything else that wasn’t right.
Thank you!
Hi! I’m not familiar with the Betty Crocker recipe but perhaps your bananas were too ripe/wet/large?
Wow wow wow, easy recipe and awesome pancakes!! Will do again for sure! Thank you!!
So happy you loved them!
thank you for this recipe!! I cannot cook or bake well and I’m trying to be as healthy as possible during quarantine and I’m running out of easy recipes that a novice can’t screw up. These were so amazing and SO EASY!!! I only needed a serving for one person so I halved the ingredients. These were amazing w my coffee. I’m actually feeling “ambitious” enough to try one of your recipes for dinner next 🙂
Thank you!!!
Perfect! So glad you loved them! I hope you find a new dinner you love too 🙂
These were the best pancakes ever. I don’t usually eat pancakes but these I would eat all the time
So happy you love them!
DELICIOUS PANCAKES !!!
supper yummy!
easy to make
Glad you loved them!
These take waaaay too long to cook.. they are so raw in the middle. I followed the recipe to a tee and cooked each pancake for what seemed like 20 minutes each. They are not worth it unfortunately
Were your bananas frozen before using them by chance? That’s the only thing I could think that would make them not cook all the way through. Also, make sure your baking powder is fresh!
Absolutely love these pancakes! We served them topped with fresh bananas and they were delicious.
Perfect! Glad you loved them 🙂
I thought these were pretty good! I had a hard time getting the hang of flipping them though- since they seemed to always fall apart. What worked for me was keeping the pan on low heat and putting a small spoonful of batter and then using the spoon to spread out the batter so it is thinner and easier to flip.
That’s a great tip! Glad you enjoyed 🙂
I normally never leave comments/ratings on recipes but I’ve been loving this one so much and have made it so many times that I just had to! I always blend the oats before hand to make sure they’re extra fine. They always taste amazing and I feel even better knowing they’re made from healthy ingredients!
So happy to hear that! One of my all time favs for breakfast 🙂
I’m making this now. And the smell and it’s looking really fluffy and beautiful. Be right back and continue my review.
Oh wow! Soft, fluffy and taste really good.
Thank you for sharing this recipe. This will be on my To Keep file.
So happy you loved them!
Loved these! So easy and delicious! I topped mine with almond butter, fresh fruit and just a little maple syrup. Yummy!
Love that! Glad you enjoyed 🙂
These are so good! You don’t even need syrup. We made a batch and are freezing some. Added blueberries to a couple and chocolate chips to a couple. DELISH!
Absolutely! Glad you loved them!
made these a few weeks ago and they were great! wondering if i could make these in my waffle maker?
Glad you enjoyed! I haven’t tried them in a waffle maker – they might be a bit too thin. Let me know if you do give it a try!
i went for it anyway… they actually came out amazing as waffles!! so glad i tried.
Perfect!!
These are amazing.I only made half the recipe and they still came out just right.
Perfect! So happy to hear that 🙂
Just finished my workout and saw a bowl of bananas just rotting in my fruit bowl, then I found this recipe and was like perfect!😅 So I made these for myself and family for brunch and they were so delicious, I used soya milk and everything else the exact recipe, came out so nice and fluffy 😊
Perfect timing! Glad you enjoyed!
These pancakes were really good! My only concern is I used 2 tsps of baking powder and I could taste it in the pancakes. Nevertheless, they were still wonderful, way better than box pancake mix.
Loved this recipe. And so did my kiddos. Saved some to freeze. Thank you so much for sharing! A new Family favorite
So happy to hear that!
I would suggest using only 1 teaspoon of baking powder instead of 2
that’s odd! feel free to reduce to 1 teaspoon but typically pancakes need a little extra to rise.
I made these yesterday and I should have doubled the recipe because I’m making them again today. All three of my boys raved about them, which is remarkable because one doesn’t like bananas and one hasn’t eaten pancakes in months. The batter was a little thick (and we like our pancakes a little thin) so I added maybe 1/4 cup more of almond milk. The boys liked them with chocolate chips. I liked them with blueberries.
Amazing! So happy to hear that. And yes absolutely feel free to thin out the batter a bit if you like 🙂
Love this recipe… I’m from india n my fuzzy eating boy’s just love these.. thank you for posting..
Glad you enjoyed!
I love this recipe!! I make it at least twice a week. I actually halve the recipe and make it in my magic bullet for ease. I also love adding cardamom! They also freeze really well in a freezer safe bag. Just put in microwave to defrost. I like them best with almond butter and fruits!
Perfect! Love that idea 🙂
THESE ARE SO GOOD AND EASY!!! THEY TASTED LIKE BANANA BREAD! I ADDED CHOCOLATE CHIPS AND IT MADE IT SOOOO MUCH BETTER!!
Love it! Glad you enjoyed!
Healthy, Easy and Delicious! This may be my favorite recipe ever! Thank you for sharing!
Absolutely! Glad you loved them 🙂
This is perfect! I didn’t modify the recipe. I was skeptical that pancakes could be good without milk and flour, but they were delicious! My son ate five. 🙂
So happy you both enjoyed!
Just made these in my nutribullet! Now as we’re dealing with a natural product ie the bananas I think next time I will definitely check how thick the mixture is as my pancakes spread too easily so were thin. Perhaps I needed more oats to thicken the mixture so they’ll be nice and puffy! However they were delicious and we had them as a quick lunch simply smeared with butter. Hubby doesn’t like coconut…! Thanks for the recipe it was great to have a different pancake. I am thinking breakfast, with Greek yogurt, sliced banana and strawberries!
Feel free to add a bit more oats if the batter is looking thin! Sounds like the perfect brunch 🙂
Honestly, this tastes better than regular pancakes. Guiltless breakfast that tastes amazing!!!!!
So happy you loved them!
This recipe was sooo good!! I added pieces of walnut and chocolate chips inside of the pancakes. Delicious!!
Yum! Glad you loved them!
Made these exactly as directed and they were amazing!
So glad you enjoyed!
Definitely going to try these. Always looking for new breakfast ideas. I was wondering though if i can make these into muffins. If i put it in muffin cups and bake in the oven, would it bake well or would i need flour?
I’d recommend trying this oatmeal cup recipe or these muffins instead!
Second time I have made these for weekend breakfast and as a keen runner I am having them ore workout. They are so simple and delicious. Thank you.
Such a great workout breakfast! Glad you love them 🙂
These are my favorite oatmeal pancakes ever! I have tried so many different recipes and this one is, HANDS DOWN, THE BEST ONE YET 🙂 Thank you for this amazing recipe & god bless ! P.s. I just added more cinnamon because I love it and have tried these with both oat milk and whole cows milk worked great both times. Thanks again .
Amazing! So happy to hear that 🙂
I’m obsessed! I love pancakes for breakfast, but they are time consuming to make and also not very healthy. This recipe solved both of my problems. Within 10 minutes I had some delicious, healthy, pancakes with minimal clean-up. Because they lack oil, they can be a tiny bit dry. Next time, I think I’ll plop blueberries into the pancakes to counteract this effect and add another touch of flavor!
The perfect breakfast! I do love adding a little butter and maple syrup, too 🙂 but blueberries sound amazing!
Wonderful! My 4 yr old asked for pancakes this morning, so this was a great quick recipe to whip together–usually pancakes are a weekend thing, here! I had to use a 1/4 c measure to get the same amount of pancakes. Otherwise it’s 👌
Perfect! Love some weekday pancakes 🙂
What a great recipe! My eight-year-old son wolfs these down. I substituted 1 T ground flax seed and 3 T extra milk per egg. Also, I used frozen bananas (thawed). At first I thought the pancakes might be weird because of the banana, but was pleasantly surprised. In fact, I try to eat low salt, and I made a batch for myself without the salt. The banana adds a lot of flavor to make up for the lack.
We have made this recipe three times in the last month. It is quickly becoming a staple in our home. Thank you Monique!
Amazing! So happy to hear that, Jeff 🙂 perfect family breakfast!
Taste amazing but can’t get pancake the flip with out it falling apart .. the pan side will be cooked however the top side is still raw snd does not flip
So strange! I would make sure that you’re not cooking them on too high of heat. When it’s too high the bottom cooks much faster and doesn’t quite let the middle start to set.
Love this recipe! My boyfriend and I make it once a week and are so pleased every time.
Amazing! So happy to hear that 🙂
These were easy to make and the flavor is awesome! I have tried other similar recipes but I like the texture of this recipe the best. The only thing I changed was sprinkling extra cinnamon on each pancake. I served with organic dark maple syrup. So yummy! Thank you!
So happy to hear that! Love the idea of adding extra cinnamon 🙂
Delicious and easy. Didn’t have almond milk, so I used regular milk instead. I added 1T maple syrup to the batter before blending, ate it without additional maple syrup.
Perfect! Glad you enjoyed.
Super tasty and very quick to make – would recommend!
Glad you enjoyed!
These were really good! I’ve made 2 ingredient pancakes before (just banana and egg) and while they do look and cut just like pancakes, they didn’t taste like pancakes. These were great – guilt-free and delicious!
This is the perfect alternative! Glad you found these 🙂
I have made these twice now, and it might be my new favorite pancake recipe!!!
I’m the type of person who randomly gets pancake cravings, so this one is perfect. Fast, easy, foolproof, and much healthier than “regular pancakes”. Both times making these I added sugar free chocolate chips and walnuts, which make them soooo good. You don’t even need syrup!
Amazing! So happy to hear that!
How long would these last in the fridge?
Up to 3 days or so. They’re also great for freezing!
I made this today. It was very tasty. My 7 year-old loved it! I froze the leftovers. We will be eating this again tomorrow morning. Thanks for sharing it.
Amazing! So happy to hear that 🙂
Made these yesterday, and they are absolutely amazing!!! My mom doesnt like regular pancakes, and they are quite a hassle to make on a Sunday morning, but these are so quick and delicious! They took about 5 minutes and were such a big hit!!
The perfect, easy breakfast! Glad you both enjoyed!
Delicious!! I didn’t have vanilla extract but still very good!
Perfect! Glad you enjoyed 🙂
I love this recipe sooo much!! I was wondering if you can use this batter in a waffle maker?
I’m so glad! I haven’t tried it but I think it might be too thin.
Delicious!
Glad you enjoyed!
Glad you love them!
Delicious healthy option – thank you!
Absolutely! Glad you enjoyed 🙂
There’s a lot of iffy recipes out there on the web but this one is AWESOME! I love a delicious gluten-free recipe that actually works. I plan on trying some of her other pancake versions too. Thanks! 🥰
Absolutely! Glad you loved these!
These were delicious! Super fluffy and good flavor. I doubled the recipe and added a tablespoon of cocoa powder for an extra chocolate kick. Topped with fresh walnuts and maple syrup and even let the kids put a bit of chocolate syrup on top. Everyone thought they were great! Thanks for making a healthy recipe my whole family can enjoy. Will definitely make these again.
Love that! Glad they were a hit with the kiddos, too 🙂
These pancakes came out really good!! I love recipes that are healthy, simple and good!! I love that’s theres no additional sugar
Thank you
So glad you loved them!!
These are simple to make, but taste like banana bread in a pancake shape. I was looking for more of a pancake taste. I am going to try mixing this recipe with plain pancake batter to see how that turns out. Very filling and we ate ours as banana bread snack.
Let me know how it goes with more pancake batter! 🙂
This recipe was tasty and filling! I added extra sliced banana to one side of the pancakes and it made them extra moist. I recommend adding a spoonful of sugar to the batter for flavor.
I didn’t have any vanilla extract when I made, and they still turned out delicious.
So good! And yes feel free to sweeten these if you like.
I’ve made this recipe many times now, delicious!
Today, however, I had no bananas but a ripe plantain instead. It was risky but decided to try it anyways and it worked just the same. Husband reported that he preferred it with the plantain because the banana flavor was not as strong.
Perfect! I’m glad that worked out well!
I am trying to eat healthy and loose some weight. These were extremely delicious and my husband LOVED them. A way better way than eating oatmeal. These will be on our regular breakfast rotation!
So happy you both loved these! The perfect breakfast 🙂
They are just AMAZING!!! We wanted some easy pancakes that my 9 month baby could eat because we didn’t want to give her sugar yet… and your pancakes are just perfeccctt!!!! They are super easy, fluffy and yummyy!!!!!! We loved them so much that did them 2 days in a row!!! Thank you!!!
So happy you found these ones! The perfect breakfast 🙂
Haven’t had pancakes in awhile and I was looking for something healthy and of course delicious. These turned out great, would recommend.
I’m so glad you found these ones!
Super good & so easy to make!! Will definitely be making them again with chocolate chips next time!
Perfect! Glad you loved them!
I hope your day goes good thank goodness for your pancakes
Love the banana oatmeal pancakes
Glad you love them!
These were so delicious!! I made these as my post workout breakfast and I love them, so nutritious and a bonus high in protein, served with fruit these are the ultimate breakfast 👏
Love it! The best post-workout breakfast 🙂
Delicious
Glad you enjoyed!
Great tasting, easy recipe! I used it in the waffle maker and they were delicious.
Perfect! I’m glad they worked out well as waffles 🙂
Excellent and delicious recipe!!!! My finicky 16yr old and I love it!
So happy to hear that!!
These are perfect for mornings where you don’t want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen and don’t want to make a mess! Plus they’re SO yummy!!!
Absolutely! Glad you loved them!
These were delicious and so easy to make!
So glad you loved them!
Soooo good. Just made these. Turned out perfect without all the whisking buttermilk etc!!
Absolutely! So easy and delicious 🙂
My fiance and I love this recipe- so easy and healthy and has become a weekend brunch staple. I love to mix Greek yogurt and peanut butter to put on top (and maple syrup of course).
So happy to hear that! And that sounds delicious.
These are the BEST healthy pancakes I have found, I crave them every day. No other recipe has compared and I’ve tried many. They come out fluffy too! Thank you for this.
Amazing! I’m so happy you love them!
Really, really good! Love these pancakes!!
I’m so glad!!
Love this recipe!! I had been looking for a good vegan pancake recipe, I came along this one and saw in the comments your suggestion for egg replacements. I tried it today and wow!! Finally found a great alternative to regular pancakes! I had so many fails with other recipes and was thrilled when I saw how fast these were cooking and how great they tasted! Thank you
Perfect! So happy the vegan egg worked out well 🙂 such a great breakfast!
A new favorite breakfast hit in our house now! My family loves these pancakes and I love them for all the healthier choices! Any pointers in doubling the recipe, I have two strong active boys that can put away some grub?! Thanks so much, always love your recipes!
So happy to hear that! You can try to double everything! I haven’t done this but I think it would work well 🙂 they freeze amazingly well too.
Easy, delicious, satisfying. My husband and I enjoyed these very much! We will definitely make these again. I think they’ll be perfect to make ahead when I start baby led weaning soon, too.
Love that! Let me know how it goes 🙂
These were so great and easy to make! It was a success with my 3 year old as well. Thank you 😊
So happy to hear that!
These came out perfectly! I needed a quick BLW-friendly bfast for the fam, and this was it. Subbed one banana for an unsweetened applesauce cup 🙂 thank you!!
Amazing! So happy to hear that!
I’m not sure what I did wrong but my pancake had no form lol flipping was so difficult because it was floppy and the bottom was burnt. I turned it into scrambled eggs and I guess the taste was quite delicious lol but not really pancake for me
It sounds like your pan may have been too hot! Try doing them over medium low heat.
Could I use a frying pan and just cook a couple at a time? Would the temperature be different?
Yes that should be fine! You might just want to decrease the temp a bit when doing another round of them if you’re finding that they’re cooking really fast.
eh they’re fine. taste kind of undercooked no matter how long I cook them. wouldn’t make them again.
Sorry to hear that! I wish I could help pinpoint the issue as this is my most popular pancake recipe. If they’re not cooking well I might suggest turning your heat down to medium-low.
Only gave 4stars because it wouldn’t let me give 5. delicious. Thank you so much.
Glad you loved them!
Delicious pancakes! Just what I was looking for, easy, quick and yummy. I used unsweetened soy milk and I had some quinoa leftover so I replaced 1\2 cup of oats with quinoa. This one is a keeper!
Perfect! I’m glad the quinoa worked out well!
These pancakes were delicious! They were super soft (probably due to the bananas) so patience is key when baking and flipping these bad boys. Overall loved them! Tasty and nutritious.
Absolutely! Glad you loved them!
Just made these and ended up eating the all by myself, they’re soo good! 100% will be making them again
So delicious! Glad you enjoyed 🙂
This is my favorite go-to pancake recipe! I love that you can just throw everything in the blender – so simple and such easy clean-up! I always have all these ingredients on hand. I sub unsweet coconut milk for the almond milk since my husband is allergic and they come out wonderfully. I also always double the batch (family of 4) – I rarely have leftovers + my little ones are a huge fan as well. Thanks for posting this recipe! ☺️
The perfect breakfast! So glad everyone loves them!
These were delicious! I love that they are Not too sweet healthy, too! The perfect treat for a Sunday morning! Thanks for the recipe!
The perfect brunch! Glad you liked them 🙂
The pancakes are so delicious and light! I used Gluten Free Oats, added extra oat beverage to thin out the pancakes a bit, and some fresh blueberries! Very delicious, thank you!!
Perfect! So glad you enjoyed!
extremely simple recipe!! would recommend ☺️☺️☺️
Absolutely! Glad you liked it!
We had over-ripe bananas to use, and wanted something to make besides banana bread. Wow, these are so good! We didn’t have almond milk so used lactose-free milk. I forgot the baking powder but they cooked fine and were not too dense. We added about 1/4 cup chopped walnuts after blending, and sprinkled raisins on the top while the first side was cooking. Thank you for this delicious and healthy recipe!
Perfect! So glad you enjoyed!
OMG I LOVE this!! i didn’t know oat pancakes could be this good, i literally have them for breakfast everyday, i make them on sunday and freeze them!! amazing actually, pair it with tons of fruit and peanut butter, HEAVENN! i found a tip myself, if you are into calorie counting and want to have an exact portion of 3 pancakes, put the pancake batter in a 1/3 cup measurement and fill it a little bit less, scrape A lot in your blender and tara! 9 perfect delicious pancakes, again thank you so much for this recipe
Amazing! So happy you love these!
I’ve tried a lot of “healthy” banana pancake recipes, but this one was by far the best. Super easy because you basically dump everything in the blender and then fry. I halved the recipe because it was only me – and it halved perfectly … and I ate all of them! A keeper for sure.
Isn’t it easy? Perfect breakfast! Glad you loved these.
I’m so happy a friend told me about these pancakes. They are just as you said light, fluffy and delicious 😋. Today I doubled the recipe because I had 4 brown bananas. So, rather than throw the bananas away I made pancakes!!! They turned out perfect❤. Will highly recommend to friends and family.
Perfect! So glad you loved them!
These were absolutely delicious and so easy to make.
Followed recipe as is and turned out great!
So happy to hear that!
Great recipe. Pancakes came out fluffy with a great texture! Will make again!
Perfect! So happy to hear that.
So far, these are my favourite oatmeal pancakes! The texture and even the fact that they don’t absorb too much liquid before cooking are high points for me. (Oh, and no added sugar and fat!) Thank you so the easy and fool-proof recipe 😀
So happy to hear that! Such a great breakfast 🙂
I make as often as possible, pretty much only buy bananas for this recipe and add a little bit of nutella (like 1/2 tbsp) it’s delicious! I was wondering, if I wanted some extra protein, could I add a scoop of protein powder in the batter?
So happy to hear that! And sure I think that’d work out just fine!
Was looking for a healthier alternative for pancakes because I LOVE pancakes for breakfast and I found your site and I have to say I LOVED these pancakes! I made my pancakes slightly larger so I didn’t get as many pancakes and towards the end of the batter I added a bit more almond milk. I am going to pass this recipe on to all my daughters! Thank you!
So happy you found this one! Such a great breakfast 🙂 hope your daughters love them, too!
I’ve tried doznes of healthy banana pancake recipes; This one is BY FAR my favorite! 🙌🏽 Light. Fluffy. Full of flavor. Absolutely delicious. Everything you look for in a pancake. I chose not to blend (just left the oats whole) and they turned out great. Would highly recommend! Wish 5 starts wasn’t the max. I’d rate higher if I could!
Amazing! So happy to hear that!
Lovely recipe !!!!!!! Thank you for sharing it ! Can the batter be left overnight in the fridge ?
Thank you
I haven’t tried it, but let me know if you do!
These pancakes taste amazing! So quick and easy to make! And the BEST healthy pancakes I have tried. I love making these pancakes whilst dieting! 5 stars!
Favorite breakfast! Glad you loved them!
These pancakes were super delicious and easy to make. We added toppings of chopped macadamia nuts, flax seeds sprinkled into the batter with cacao nibs. Topped off with homemade applesauce and maple syrup.
So glad you loved them! Those toppings sound incredible 🙂
The best recipe till date! My older kid doesn’t like bananas but both my kids love pancakes. These easy, healthy and delicious pancakes won their hearts and my older kid went for 3 servings! You are amazing!
I love that! So happy they were a hit 🙂 such a great breakfast!
This was great! We never enjoy “healthy” pancakes, they’re always so bland but this had a nice flavor and was so simple and filling. New go to, thank you!
So glad you found these ones!
Hi! This looks really good and I’m just wondering, would oat flour work with this recipe? I just finished up my oats but i still have plenty of oat flour left!
That would be fine I think, you maybe need to reduce the amount a bit!
Delicious! I used regular milk instead of almond milk and also fried them in some butter
Perfect! That sounds delicious!
Okay, so this site is probably my new fave site for recipes, and I’ve been pretty true blue to another site for ages. Loved these pancakes. Mine didn’t look as fabulous as the ones pictured, but they tasted great. The best part? They’re healthy!
Amazing! So happy to hear that, Laura 🙂
This was THE best easy, healthy pancake recipe I have Ever stumbled on! Cut it half for one overripe banana, and it was totally dreamy. Health aside, something about using oats, which I always have/eat, over flour, which I find a pain to drag out, made this loads more approachable for me. And the blender ups the lazy factor which I adore! Came together from shelf to plate in minutes, sprinkled with my premade hippie mixture (chia, flax, hemp and pumpkin seeds), chopped walnuts, pineapple, kiwi and a lil shredded coconut. With as little maple syrup as I could muster, this was healthy And completely delish. This, is now the bar. Thanks for posting my new go-to!!!
Perfect! So happy you loved these! It’s great for customizing 🙂
This was easily THE best easy, healthy pancake recipe I’ve ever stumbled on! Cut it half for one overripe banana, and it was totally dreamy. Health aside, something about using oats, which I always have/eat, over flour, which I find a pain to drag out, made this loads more approachable for me. And the blender ups the lazy factor
OMG. These pancakes are so good! Fluffy, flavorful and delicious. My kids and I had such a sweet morning making them together (even if it was at 6am).
I really enjoyed these pancakes! Delicious with some fresh fruit and maple syrup! I really liked that when I ate them, they didn’t just taste like mashed up banana and oats. They tasted like legit pancakes with plenty of natural sweetness from the banana.
These did not turn out well, even though I followed the recipe to a T. The batter was super runny and the pancakes were so difficult to flip, batter would just go everywhere in the pan because of the consistency. They didn’t taste terrible, but not amazing. Definitely not worth it, ‘ll stick to my usual recipe 🙂
Easiest pancake recipe ever. Even easier than a box mix. So fast, so delicious. Always have these ingredients on hand. 10/10
Absolutely! Glad you love these 🙂
Super easy to make, delicious healthy pancakes, yummy!!!!
Glad you loved them!
Terrible recipe! They won’t flip it’s a disaster! Had to make it into a scramble. Don’t waste your time!
Sorry to hear that you had trouble, Rachel! I wish I could help troubleshoot as this recipe has over 100 5-star reviews. I might suggest making sure your skillet is on medium-low so that they cook through the middle better.
Just got a mini blender which suddenly makes new recipes possible. These are pure genius. No sugar aside from fructose in the banana. No refined flour. But what comes out of the pan is fluffy and almost decadent. Such a treat for breakfast with fresh fruit (We had a juicy pear). 100% making these again. No changes necessary. Perfect as they are.
Love it! Best breakfast.
These are RIDICULOUSLY easy and INCREDIBLY delicious!!!!!! The only problem I’ve found is…I can eat the whole batch in one day 🙂
So happy you love them!!
Can the eggs be replaced with egg whites (to reduce fat content)? Also, any idea how many grams or ounces of ripe banana is needed?
We haven’t used egg whites, but I’m sure it would work just fine. I suggest 3 egg whites. For the banana, you’ll need approx 240g give or take.
These pancakes are amazing! And so easy to make! I usually top them with a little maple syrup and some fresh blueberries but they really don’t need much. My husband takes them to go and eats them plain and he says they’re perfect! Thanks for the recipe Monique!
So happy you both love them! Perfect breakfast 🙂
love making these recipes! recipes are easy to prepare and well laid out for beginner cooks.
So happy to hear that!
I absolutely love thesse pancakes and so does my family including my 2 year old, thank you so much!! I substituted the egg with flax egg (flax meal) and used almond butter with water in place of the the almond milk. Have made them both ways and prefer the pancakes with the changes I made as this suits our way of eating. Thank you for this recipe, we feel fantastic when we start the day with these pancakes
I’m glad those swaps work out well! Such a great, nutritious breakfast 🙂
This recipe was the easiest dish to prepare and only the blender to clean up!!! I used the batter in my waffle iron and the waffles came out so fluffy and moist. I had a test waffle with maple syrup and the next day I toasted a couple up and made an ice cream sandwich with butter pecan oat milk ice cream. I LOVE this recipe!! It will be my breakfast go to. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
So glad it works in the waffle iron, too! And that ice cream sandwich sounds AMAZING!
Can you use frozen bananas??
Yes! I’d suggest letting them thaw and draining off the extra liquid first.
Made it exactly as recipe called for and the pancakes were delish! Kid approved, 2&4 yo ate them right up as they came off the pan (added some chocolate chips in some of them!) I will make again! Thank you! Made the house smell good too
I loved these! Totally satisfied my cravings for pancakes!
I’m so glad!
This is an amazing recipe!!! My kids did not notice anything different and licked their plates clean 😍
Hello! I’m looking to use up my container of egg whites. Will this affect the recipe if I substitute the egg whites for the whole eggs?
Thanks!
I made these for my 2 year old grandson and he loves them and always asks for more. A fantastic alternative to some breakfast cereals with hidden nasties.
So happy to hear that!
The best banana oatmeal pancakes I’ve ever had! When I have ripe bananas I peel them and put them in a ziplock bag in the freezer so I always have some on hand for when I am in the mood for pancakes.
Thank you for sharing this recipe!
Amazing! Glad you love these!
So good! Our whole family loved them. I added 1 cup of spinach and dinosaur shapes to make it extra fun for the kids☺️
Love that! So cute 🙂
Awesome pancakes, easy, love they are made in the blender!
Best breakfast! Glad you enjoyed 🙂
I only have quick oats – will that work?
So easy and quick and so delicious! 10/10.
Every time I make these I tell my kids “these are so healthy. There is literally nothing bad in them!” I’m sure they are tired of hearing it, but honestly, they are so delicious it’s hard to believe they are this healthy!!we substitute buttermilk for the almond milk sometimes and they are equally delicious!!
I’m a little disappointed and I’m sure it’s probably something I’m doing wrong. There’s another pancake recipe I normally use but I decided to change it up. After reading comments I got excited and doubled the recipe, but I’ve been standing in front of my stove for almost an hour. They take soooo long to cook and are so hard to flip and then the edges burn and it’s not cooked through. So I just wasted so many ingredients and a clean pan lol they definitely taste good but I can’t get them to stick together.
I’m not sure what could have gone wrong here. It’s never taken me more than 20 minutes to make these from start to finish. Sounds like maybe a user error? I suggest double checking your ingredients, following the recipe as written and make sure you are not using frozen bananas or thawed bananas. Also please see my tips and tricks for making pancakes!
OMG….. are you kidding?? These pancakes really are the BEST pancakes ever!! I cannot believe it. My kids had no idea what was in them and they were devoured! I will never make regular pancakes ever again. Thank you Monique for your creative mind!! Wow…
So happy you & the kiddos loved them! Seriously my go-to 🙂
I was surprised at how easy these pancakes were to make and even more surprised at how delicious they are! And….they are healthy!! So crazy good!!! I’ll be making these again!
Fabulous!!!!!
Glad you enjoyed!
Just made these: AMAZING!
Question: Do you have to have a high power blender or will any old blender work? if subbing oat flour, how much out flour will work? Any other subs for oats/oat flour? THANKS!
Oats are natually gluten free. 😉
I look forword to giving thes a try. Angel.
These pancakes were good. The recipe made 9 pancakes just as stated. Although they were tasty, they were not light and fluffy. I cooked them a very long time and found, like some other reviews, that the center never really completely cooked and remained ‘sticky’. I followed the recipe exactly except for using flax eggs rather than dairy eggs. I loved the simplicity of this recipe.
The flax eggs likely altered the texture in these, but I’m glad the taste turned out delicious!
Could I make the batter the day before and cook the pancakes the next morning?
I haven’t tried it, but I’m guessing that the batter would likely overthicken due to the oats, so I would not recommend!
I’ve made these so many times! My favorite pancake recipe. Absolutely delicious and they turn out perfect every time. I love how fluffy they get, how easy they are to make, and the clean ingredients! Perfect for the whole family and they freeze well for my 10 month old. Thanks AK!
Love that! Such a great breakfast for the whole fam 🙂
These are awesome! My husband wanted seconds! Thank you so much for this recipe.
So happy to hear that!
Made these the other day- so yummy! Can you use frozen bananas by any chance?
So happy to hear that! Yes – I would just recommend letting them thaw completely and draining off any excess liquid.
I’ve never reviewed a recipe on someone’s blog before but I just had to for these! SO perfect and fluffy and tasty, even without flour + sugar. Thanks so much for sharing xx
Thanks so much for your comment, Madie! Glad you loved these 🙂
Delicious and super easy to make!!! I made half of the portion and it still turned out amazing!
So glad you enjoyed!
I’m not much of a cook, but we had some extra ripe bananas and plenty of them already in the freezer, so I decided to try this recipe. OMG they turned out delicious! I cut the recipe in half and ate them all.
Perfect! So happy to hear that 🙂
This recipe is my absolute favorite! It is easy and I also love the fact that you just bled and pour into the pan and eat right away! We also freeze them!
Thank you so much for a wonderful recipe!
So easy and delicious! Glad you love them!
Reaaly delicious! Even better with toasted pecans, just spread them on the baking sheet and toast them in the oven for a few mins at 335°F/ 170°C. Loved it, thank you very much for the recipe!
That sounds amazing! Love it 🙂
Delicious pancakes! I always feel bad eating pancakes but these are very healthy and are super yummy!
The perfect breakfast! Glad you found these ones!
I am honestly obsessed with your website. Everything I’ve tried has been AMAZING. These pancakes are so delicious. I love the hint of cinnamon. Thank you for sharing !!
So happy to hear that, Stephanie! I hope you keep finding recipes you love 🙂
These banana pancakes are absolutely delicious, thank you for sharing your recipe, for a great Sunday morning breaky.
Absolutely! Perfect weekend brunch.
These turn out perfectly! I add d a couple of tspns of erythritol because I wanted to use less syrup on top. Served with maple syrup and toasted pecans and walnuts. Thanks for the fantastic recipe!
I’m glad that worked out well! Perfect breakfast 🙂
These were delicious and they cooked up so well! Fluffy on the inside and a bit crispy on the outside. I used coconut milk instead of almond milk and doubled the recipe. Since I only had two bananas, I subbed applesauce for the other two bananas. Cooked on a cast iron griddle using coconut oil. Had to turn the heat down to medium low. My many failed attempts at making healthier pancake recipes are kind of a running joke in my family, but everyone gobbled these up, so this one’s bookmarked and will be on heavy rotation.
So happy you found these ones! Coconut milk sounds, delicious, too. Glad they were a hit!
These are a hit every single time with my kiddos! Love that they do not have any added sugars. My one and five year old always ask for these! Thank you!
So happy to hear that! Perfect, easy breakfast 🙂
These banana oatmeal pancakes are the best I have ever tasted and they do not upset my stomach!
So happy to hear that!
We had it for breakfast today and simply loved it. I don’t like oats very much and made this for my husband but I did enjoyed it this way and can’t wait to try different pancake recipes of your with oats.
Amazing! So happy to hear that 🙂
These were a big hit with everyone. So good. I’ll be making these on a regular basis for sure.
These pancakes are delicious and putting all the ingredients in the blender makes the recipe so easy to make! I used 1% regular milk bc that’s all I had – tasted great!
Perfect! Glad you enjoyed!
This is my go to pancake recipe whenever I have bananas that need to be used. They could not be easier to make. Love that they are naturally sweetened and they are so light and fluffy!
So happy to hear that!
I made with buttermilk and doubled the amount. (Because I was out of almond milk) It was fantastic.
Perfect! Love it 🙂
The banana pancakes are the BEST pancakes we’ve tried! They are really delicious!!! Thank you!!!!
Amazing! So happy to hear that 🙂
Ok, so I just made these and they were great. I don’t have a vegan or strictly gluten-free diet. I was just looking for a recipe that primarily used oatmeal and no flour since that’s all I had in the house. And since I had almond milk I wanted to use up, this fit the bill perfectly. Bonus was that I had 2 very ripe frozen bananas (for smoothies) which made these pancakes extra sweet and moist. The one modification I made (for s&g’s) was that instead of using the full 1 1/2 cups of oatmeal, I used 1 cup oatmeal and 1/2 cup Trader Joe’s pumpkin oatmeal chocolate chip cookie mix that I happened to have, which does have flour in it. (Wasn’t in the mood for chips, so I picked them out). It all blended up to make a smooth batter that poured out nicely from my blender to make smooth round even pancakes. The only catch was that they were so moist and liquid-ey (but not thin or runny) that they were hard to flip and took nearly 10 minutes to cook at medium low heat which I used so they wouldn’t turn black while cooking on the inside. The result was a sweet, flavorful, surprisingly light (for all that oatmeal) and extremely moist (!) pancake!
So glad you enjoyed! The different dry ingredients likely changed the texture a bit, but I’m glad they worked out well 🙂
My new favourite pancake recipe. Subbed coconut milk for almond milk and it worked very well :)!
Perfect! Such a great breakfast 🙂
OMG these were amazing! So fluffy, so delicious, with a hint of banana. I’m so happy I found this recipe! Thank you!
I’m so glad you did, too! Perfect breakfast 🙂
These were delicious and easy to make. I had a little trouble getting them to flip and stay together but that didn’t stop us from enjoying them.
Glad you enjoyed! I’d suggest cooking them on medium-low heat the help them cook evenly and be easy to flip 🙂
These are the easiest pancakes to make & healthy & delicious . I’ve made them so many times & a great hit with all the family even my 9month grandchild
Amazing! Glad they’re a hit!
Thank you very much for the recipe! I just made those pancakes, they were easy to make and super delicious!
Absolutely! Glad you enjoyed 🙂
Ahhh these are amazing! Thank you SO much for this healthy, delicious, EASY pancake recipe!
You bet!!
I wanted to say that I love this recipe! I’ve been making this twice a month for a year now, I often add a little more oats to make the batter a bit thicker. I love having these lighter delicious pancakes, and so does my partner. Thank you!
Amazing! So happy to hear that!
Amazing!’
Glad you liked them!
The very best banana pancake recipe I have ever tried. They come out perfect every. damn. time. I opted to use up some leftover oat flour and just mixed with mashed banana in a bowl, because a dirty blender sounded like too much this morning. Still perfect. Thank you for this delightful recipe Monique <3
So happy to hear that!
These pancakes have become a weekend tradition for my family, and I feel good about serving them to my 11 month old son because they have no added sugar. I always make mini versions (about 2in diameter), and we have enough for breakfast the next day. Thank you for the amazing recipe!!
Love it! So glad these are a hit 🙂
About how many grams is one pancake? I am trying to count my macros.
I don’t typically weigh my ingredients or recipes – sorry!
SO good!! Highly recommend.
Glad you love them!
These were very delicious! I added a few chocolate chips to mine and yuuum. So good!
Love that! Perfect breakfast 🙂
I made these this morning and they were enjoyed by all, I stuck nearly exactly except I out in a bit extra cinnamon (1/4 tspn extra) and will definitely make again, So light and fluffy
Perfect breakfast! Glad they were a hit 🙂
Perfect mix of ingredients, compared to similar recipes. We like our pancake batter as smooth as possible, so we blend the oats first into almost a flour texture. Then add wet ingredients, with bananas last, if they are frozen and thawed. Delicious. Thank you.
Perfect! Glad you enjoyed 🙂
These pancakes are so freaking good,
So glad you love them!
Best banana oat pancakes I have tried!!! In my opinion, they look and taste like regular pancakes minus the guilt. 😉
So happy to hear that!
These are THE BEST!!! I make healthy pancakes for my fam most weekends and I’m always trying out different recipes. This might be my favorite. They are fluffy, hearty and perfectly sweet even without maple syrup.
We made some with blueberries and those were delightful. Definitely make this recipe!
Amazing! So happy to hear that 🙂
Pleasantly surprised. Very Good recipe! Will make more for sure. Even satisfied my picky eater!
Thanks for the recipe!
Amazing! Happy to hear that 🙂
Amazing Sunday morning treat!
The best!
This is a winner I’ve tried 6 different banana pancake recipes and have been disappointed. These delivered !! Dump it all in the blender (I used a Ninja) and boom perfect batter, fluffy pancakes. I used the recipe exactly as written.
So easy and delicious! Glad you love them!
The recipe is so good! Tastes like a banana muffin and are really fluffy! The downside of them is they don’t seem to bubble when you cook them, so it’s hard to know when to flip. But otherwise they are delicious!
So glad you love them! Feel free to give them a quick peek with a spatula 🙂
So delicious! I love the original version of this recipe but I also love the taste when you substitute the eggs for a 1/4 cup of applesauce. So so good! Both ways are amazing, thank you for sharing!
I’m glad that works out well! Perfect breakfast!
My husband and I made these pancakes yesterday and we gobbled them up. I have blood sugar issues and standard pancake recipes send my numbers up. This recipe is delicious, easy and no high numbers.
This is going to be in my favorite folder.
I want to thank you for creating this beautiful pancake recipe
Amazing! So happy to hear that!
Doing a modified version Whole30 this month (that includes oats/whole grains) and these were perfect!! Will definitely be making them again 🙂
Perfect! Glad you enjoyed!
Can you freeze these once they’re cooked? Any thoughts on how to defrost them? I have bananas ready to be used
These freezed super well for me! I cooked them from frozen and it kind of dried them out, so next time I will let them thaw in the fridge over night and then reheat them in the microwave instead of on the stovetop
Yes! Check out the full blog post for all of my tips 🙂
I was wondering if anyone has used oat flour instead of oats? I would like to use baby cereal to add extra nutrients for my son, but I don’t want to mess with the recipe.
We tried blending blueberries in, and it ended up completely ruining them, but they were perfect when we just added the blueberries whole.
Great question, I would suggest 1 cup oats and then 1/3 cup or 1/2 cup baby oatmeal cereal to start and see how they end up!
Just made these for lunch and they were great!
Love it!!
AMAZINNNNNNG!!!! My new favorite pancakes ever!! My whole family loves them. For some protein, I substitute the vanilla for vanilla protein powder 🙂
Love it! So happy to hear that 🙂
These are delicious and fluffy! I added mini semi sweet chocolate chips, and they’re a dream! I started on medium low, but using a cast-iron, so I recommend keeping your pan temperature low, as these cook really quickly!
Perfect! And yes, great tip. Glad you loved them!
I loved it. Only the batter became a little thick I guess. Because of the kind of oats that I used in
Glad you still loved them!
Tried another recipe for healthy pancakes and it was terrible and then come across this one, they turned out so good! They was so fluffy, and tasted like regular pancakes. Definitely recommend making these. I added some dark chocolate chips to some and some blueberries to others. Felt indulgent but without all the calories and sugar!
So glad you found these ones! Perfect breakfast 🙂
This recipe really hit the spot this morning. These banana pancakes are out of this world delicious, and I appreciate that they have no added sugar. The ripe banana makes them plenty sweet! I like to drizzle almond butter on these babies along with maple syrup of course. Try these out – you won’t be sorry!
Absolutely! Glad you enjoyed!
I make these so often bc they are sooooo goood. I add pecans when they’re cooking and sometimes add collagen in the blender. Making them now actually ahhaha.
Perfect! Love it 🙂
I absolutely loved these! My new favorite pancake recipe. Thanks for another great healthy breakfast option!
So happy to hear that!
Love the recipe but stop with the YASSS. That’s highly annoying. The texture and flavor is amazing!!
Glad you loved the recipe!
These were absolutely fantastic!!! I always try to do healthier pancakes and I thought these were better than the recipes I’ve tried with whole wheat flour. Didn’t even need to use too much maple syrup because they were already sweet from the banana. I added some blueberries while I was cooking them – delicious!
Amazing! So happy to hear that 🙂
Absolutely loved these! Don’t think I’ll go back to making normal pancakes again.
I blended the oats first (used instant quaker oats) into an almost flour consistency before adding the rest to blend. I also separated the egg whites and electric whisked them before mixing them all together with a spoon to get that extra fluff!
The pancakes came out delicious!!! it was filling but also so healthy.
Goes great with berries, natural peanut butter, maple syrup!
I dont think the recipe serves 3 though, I think it’s perfect for TWO!
Thanks, ambitious kitchen, for never failing to impress!
Perfect! So glad you loved them!
WOW! I have tried dozens of banana oat pancake recipes, and every single one of them has failed. Yours hit it out of the park! They were unbelievably good, and tasted just like banana bread. The texture was perfect for my liking. I cut the recipe to make one serving, and I wish I would have made the whole batch, because I could have eaten so many more! Thank you!
Amazing! So happy to hear that 🙂
Delicious!
Glad you enjoyed!
YUMMMMMM!!
Just made these and they were the best! Your site kept popping up on my feed and the recipes are eyecatching- this one made me happy bc no sugar or flour. I added a sprinkle of walnuts and chocolate chips to half for a chunky monkey version – deeelish!! Will definitely be making again 🙂 ty
Amazing! I’m so glad 🙂 Perfect breakfast!
These pancakes are the best!!! I have tried many banana oat pancake recipes, and this one is by far the best. I have the recipe for a single serving. They don’t have that barky/earthy taste that a lot of healthy pancakes have, which I appreciate. I find that the pancakes flip the best when I use butter on the stove. Also, I like to make the blueberry compote featured in the Ambitious Kitchen coconut flour pancake recipe to put on top. Highly recommend!
Amazing! So glad you loved them!
Sooooo good. I’m gonna add some sugar next time but these were amazing.
Perfect! Glad you enjoyed 🙂
One of my favorite breakfasts! Have been making this almost every weekend with some chocolate chips & it’s perfect! Being gluten free I missed pancakes but this is a great recipe that doesn’t leave me feeling bad after for eating it
Amazing! So happy to hear that 🙂
These pancakes are terrible. Way too much baking powder, I don’t understand how it reached 5 stars.
Sorry to hear that you didn’t like them! I’ve tested them multiple times with success, as have tons of readers, and haven’t found that they have too much baking powder.
One of the most delicious and healthy pancakes I have ever tried. Love how the oats give it a slight crunchy texture. I added a tablespoon of peanut butter which gave it a really nice nutty taste and served it with homemade strawberry jam. Everyone absolutely loved it. Great recipe.
Love it! Glad you enjoyed!
These pancakes are delicious and very satisfying, and also gluten free. I change out the bananas for blueberries (added after it’s mixed) and vanilla for the cinnamon.
So glad you liked them! Love blueberries 🙂
Thank you for this amazing healthy recipe. I followed it to the T, except adding a little more of the almond milk. The pancakes were fluffy and yummy 👍
Absolutely! Glad you loved them!
These are so easy to make and super yummy! I made them for my baby, but my husband and I love them too!!
Love it! Perfect breakfast 🙂
These are simple and delicious I feel good about feeding these to my 10 month old she loves them with a little peanut butter! Thank you
Absolutely! Perfect breakfast 🙂
These are so easy to make and perfect for my 10 month old to eat for breakfast as well as they are naturally sweetened. Family favorite!!
Absolutely! Such a great breakfast.
Delicious! Quick and easy. I used one banana and 1/4 c apple sauce. YUM! Thank you.
I’m glad that worked out well! Perfect breakfast.
These are amazingly delicious pancakes and are very easy to make! I have made them about ten times and everyone, husband, family and friends, has really enjoyed them. I was looking for a wheat-free recipe and really liked the ingredients (and fiber) in this one. Now I need to see if I can make it vegan for the rest of my family when they visit.
Love it! So happy to hear that 🙂
The pancakes turned out great! Nice and fluffy just the way I like them. I halved the recipe since I was only making them for myself and that turned out perfect too 🙂
Perfect! So happy to hear that 🙂
Rave reviews this morning — “best banana pancakes” from our first bites. Easy to make, flavorful and lighter than flour-based recipes. Great recipe!
Amazing! So happy to hear that 🙂
Super yum recipe would totally recommend.
Glad you enjoyed!
I loved these pancakes! Easy to make and so light and delicious! How would you modify the recipe to make waffles instead?
So glad you loved them! I haven’t made these as waffles so I can’t be certain. Perhaps I’d let the batter sit for 10 minutes before using in the waffle iron!
The kids gobbled them up! It’s snowing today so sprinkled with powdered sugar for “snow” pancakes and didn’t even need syrup! Thanks!
Aw love that idea! Perfect winter breakfast 🙂
This recipe was tasted great, the only problem was that the pancakes would fall apart as I was flipping them. Thus, I added 2 tablespoons of flour to thicken the mixture. I also used a waffle maker instead of a pan and it worked great. I recommend this recipe but I would suggest making it thicker and using a waffle griddle.
I’m glad that worked out well! Next time it also might help to let the batter sit and thicken up a bit more, too 🙂
These are the absolute best! Easy to make and so so delicious! Do they freeze well Monique? Is it better to freeze the batter or the pancakes?
So glad you love them! And yes, check the full blog post for instructions on freezing the pancakes themselves 🙂
Love love love making these pancakes on Saturday morning! I make a half batch in my mini blender and it makes like ~6-8 small/medium pancakes that are soo yummy even warmed up the next day.
Love that! Such a great brunch 🙂
I love to make big batch of these on a Sunday and enjoy them for breakfast through the week with a bit of almond butter on them. Loaded with lots of blueberries!
Great idea! And love the almond butter + blueberries.
We love these! Have been making them for a few year- always our go to pancake! Thank you!
So happy to hear that! Such a great breakfast 🙂
Made these this morning for our six month old (left out the salt) but I don’t know who liked them more him or us. They were so easy to make and we all enjoyed them even more than “regular” pancakes. They were good reheated for baby’s dinner that night too. Definitely will make again. Thank you!
Perfect! Such a great breakfast (or dinner!)
These are so fast and easy- as well as delicious! A great treat- thank you!!
Absolutely! Glad you loved them!
Wow!!! So delicious!!this is now my favorite pancake recipe.
I’m so glad!!
I followed the recipe and these were awful! They stuck to even the wolf range griddle and I had to switch to nonstick pan. They would not cook through and were impossible to flip even after cooking longer than normal on one side. So it took forever to cook these. I used TJoes rolled oats. I had to finish baking them in the oven to make sure the middle would not be gooey. I used whole milk which recipe had as option. I experiment with pancakes, healthy versions constantly; luckily I have never experienced this before. Typically I grind my whole oats first before replacing flour in recipes but did not do so since this recipe didn’t mention it.
Look delicious but wanting to sub oat flour for the oats! What ratio do you recommend?
I’d suggest 1 heaping cup of oat flour. You may need to add a few tablespoons extra.
Would that be pure vanilla extract? I plan to make them for pancake day.
Yes!
So I’ve made them twice and they are delicious and our whole family loves them…but do the bananas give them a slightly “wet” texture? I’m practically burning them and they’re still very moist and it’s hard to tell if they’re cooked. Even after putting them in the microwave they’re still a little wet but not runny. I inserted a toothpick and it came out clean but still wet.
I’m not sure what could be happening. I’m guessing that either your bananas are too large or too wet. If you keep have this happening, you can add a few extra tablespoons of oats, or simply allow the batter to sit for 5-10 minutes before making the pancakes, that way the oats will absorb most of the liquid.
I absolutely love this recipe! I like that they’re healthier pancakes made from whole oats, no added sugar or oil to the batter. Very good!!
absolutely! Perfect breakfast 🙂
Amazing recipe! So simple and my daughter loves them!
I’m so glad!!
This is one of boyfriend and I’s go to recipe! We love it. Thanks Monique!
So happy to hear that! Perfect breakfast 🙂
Our family go to pancake recipe. Even one of my children who does not like bananas loves these pancakes! We sometimes add chocolate chips. So yummy
Love adding chocolate chips 🙂 glad these are a hit!
I’ll try anything Monique tells me to try, because every single one of her recipes consistently hits it out of the park. These pancakes are no exception. They’re so easy to throw together and super customizable to how sweet you like them, whatever add-ins you like. Blueberries are a great mix in. I love that I can make pancakes without having to mix up the batter and measuring out flour — no messy cleanup! These pancakes are seriously good, I’ve made them dozens of times.
Amazing! So glad you’re finding recipes here that you love!
Always a hit! Yummy and so simple to make
Glad you love them!
If you’re anything like me you usually have a few bananas on your counter that have gotten over ripe and you’re trying to figure out what to do with them because you hate throwing food away. Well look no more, you NEED to make these pancakes. I usually top them with some chopped walnuts and maple syrup. Soooooo good. Perfect for a weekend breakfast! Also super easy to make as you just toss everything in a blender!
Absolutely! Best way to use up ripe bananas 🙂
I love how easy these are whip up in the morning. My one year old & I love having these for breakfast. I don’t think I’ll buy boxed mix again!
Love that! Perfect way to wake up 🙂
This is hands down the best healthy simple pancake recipe you’ll find out there. Made right in the blender with simple ingredients you’ll more than likely already have in your pantry. I am seriously in love with these insanely fluffy pancakes (as is my husband) and it’s tradition now for us to make and eat these every weekend. 100% recommended!
So happy to hear that! The best weekend brunch.
These are so good! I make them at least once a week. Not too thin and really filling.
So glad you love them!
These are my go-to pancakes! They are made with ingredients I always have on hand and always turn out great!
Amazing! Perfect breakfast 🙂
These are a Sunday morning tradition here! We love these pancakes, they’re so simple to whip up and so so fluffy and tasty. I’ve had trouble with dairy free pancakes in the past being fluffy enough but these are perfect!
Best recipe ever – my husband and I swear by this and have started a Saturday morning pancake tradition. So so easy to make that even the hubby feels like professional chef using the recipe. Comes out fluffy and delicious every time, and we change up the mix ins each week (choco chips, blueberries, coconut flakes, strawberries, etc). Would say serving size is more for two people!
5 stars (it won’t let me leave 5?!)! Easy, quick, delicious
My favorite healthy breakfast for when I am craving pancakes! I cut the recipe in half and it is perfect for just me.
My favorite!!!!
This is my favorite pancake recipe ever. I love that it is healthy and so easy to make! I feed it to myself and to my one-year-old son for breakfast at least once a week and I consider it a parenting win to have him eat some thing so delicious and healthy. We both are obsessed.
These are so good!!! can’t believe they don’t have refined flour and sugar! Made these for my picky older kids and my 7 month old and they all gobbled them up! Starting my baby on solids and these were great because they’re soft, easy to hold and of course nutritious. Older kids liked chocolate chips mixed in and added frozen blueberries to my baby’s pancakes. I make these and AK’s fluffy yogurt pancakes a couple times a week!
These pancakes were absolutely delicious! I halved the recipe to make some just for myself and it turned out delicious! I used coconut oil in the pan to cook them and came out with 4 pancakes. I gave mum a taste and she thought they were amazing too. Left the whole house smelling amazing as well. 100% recommend doing this!
These pancakes are amazing! Texture is perfect, so flavorful and fluffy! Easy to whip up on a lazy morning 🙂 thank you Monique!
So delicious, so easy! We had some coconut milk we made stored in the freezer and so we used that instead of the almond milk. They were so good we didn’t even need syrup. This recipe is definitely a keeper!
Love love love this recipe! I tried to follow a different one yesterday and failed miserably, and ended up with saggy oat bananas creation lol
But this one is perfect, i freezer a good batch for later too.
These are THE BEST PANCAKES I’VE EVER MADE, and the EASIEST?!? I’m sort of stunned right now – the texture was perfect, they came together in minutes, and the taste was divine. I did add a small handful of chocolate chips. A perfect Valentine’s Day breakfast. My husband loved them as well!
Let me preface this with your website has been an amazing help to making me and my boyfriend lots of healthy and guilt free meals and treats. I also love all the helpful tips you write, I read them all and find them relevant and enjoyable reads. However I did struggle with this recipe. My blender wouldn’t blend the ingredients (I don’t have a vitamix) then the pancakes burnt on the outside and didn’t cook in the middle. Help! Is there something I could do differently? The burner was on low- medium.. it took me 30 minutes to cook all 9 pancakes, yet they still burnt and wouldn’t cook all the way through.. I will also mention that all your recipes take me 2-3 times longer to make than the predicted time. A 20 minutes recipe takes me 40-60 minutes to make… any advice on this? Will this get better with time? I’m not a total newbie with cooking, been cooking for a decade but I have lots of room to improve. Appreciate you and this beautiful service you do to helping us all eat a little better. Sarah
So glad you’re loving the recipes here! For this one you definitely need to make sure that the batter is well blended before making these, so just be sure to blend on high for at least 1 min! It also sounds like you might have had the pancakes over too high of heat even though you mentioned medium-low heat.
Easy, Fluffy and Yummy! Loved these. Such an easy way to sneak in fruit for my toddler too! Will make again for sure!
Absolutely! Perfect breakfast 🙂
really delicious. very healthy and keeps me full for so much longer. and i feel happier when i’m eating something healthy and nutritious.
definitely will make at least twice a week. Such a yummy and healthy alternative!!!!
Absolutely! Perfect breakfast 🙂
I loved these when I first made them and I’m definitely going to make them again! I used coconut oil to them in though and they seemed to burn quickly in that so I might try something different next time.
But I’m wondering, would an egg substitute like the vegan plant based JUST egg work the same?
So glad you enjoyed! I haven’t tested these with an egg substitute so I’m not 100% sure. Let me know if you give it a try!
This is the best oatmeal pancake recipe I tried so far! My husband couldn’t even tell it was made without flour. Tasty, healthy, and very easy to make. Thanks for the great recipe!
So happy to hear that!!
Great, easy and fluffy pancakes. Kids loved them.
So happy to hear that!
Really delicious and so easy to make. Perfect with a spoonful of yoghurt and fresh blueberries and a drizzle of maple syrup. Thank you for the great recipe.
Absolutely! Glad you enjoyed 🙂
I am 10 days postpartum and made these for my husband and I as another way to get more oats in for my milk supply and HOT DAMN they are delicious! And easy. As in, again, I am 10 days postpartum and made them with a baby in one hand. We sprinkled butterscotch chips on ours for a little added sweetness and they were so delicious. We will
Absolutely be making them again!
Amazing! So glad you both enjoyed 🙂
My toddler loves these! I fix a batch every weekend and we freeze them and use during the week for a quick breakfast, snack or even dinner sometimes.
So happy to hear that!
I’m allergic to bananas, what could I subsitute them with?
Try my apple pancakes, pumpkin pancakes or carrot cake pancakes instead 🙂
These are delicious and perfect to freeze and reheat in the toaster oven for a quick breakfast
Absolutely! Glad you liked them!
These couldn’t be any easier! I had two super ripe bananas but wasn’t in the mood for banana bread so I landed on this recipe. I made two changes; I used 2% milk instead of almond because that’s what we had and I added some chopped walnuts to the batter after blending for a little crunch. I ended up getting 12 because I used an ice cream scooper to portion out the batter. Yum! Thanks Monique!
Perfect! Glad you loved them!
These are the most delicious pancakes! I never make regular ones anymore, and I leftover bananas don’t go to waste. My preschool ages kids love it too!
Love it! Perfect breakfast 🙂
Great recipe! Myself and my kids loved it and they are the “typical pancake” loving kids. No changes made by me… perfect recipe as written.
So happy to hear that! Such a great breakfast for kiddos.
I have been seeing banana pancake recipes for so long….never saved them. So today, I searched on google and found this one! More ingredients than a lot of the others I saw, but it looked simple enough and I had everything the recipe called for!! My diabetic husband wanted pancakes, so I delivered! These were FANTASTIC!! The only thing is that I probably should have mixed it longer, you could chew some of the oatmeal flakes while eating the pancakes. I wonder if it would be ok to make the oatmeal a flour type substance before making the recipes and adding it that way? I will look for more comments to see if anyone tried that, but, we love these!!!
So glad you enjoyed! Yes, I think oat flour will work but you may just have to reduce the amount a bit.
So delicious! Super easy to make and love how fluffy they turned out. This will definitely be my new go-to pancake recipe to make.
Absolutely! Glad you loved them!
Good recipe as written, no modifications needed and very easy cleanup by throwing everything in the blender. Also, I didn’t measure, which contributed to the easy cleanup lol.
Absolutely! Glad they worked out well 🙂
My husband has literally been talking about these for 4 days after I made them for a very easy dinner. Will try with applesauce next!
Amazing! Love breakfast for dinner 🙂
These pancakes are so easy to make, delicious, and full of nutritious ingredients. These are on a weekly rotation in my house and my kids eat them all up! Another great recipe from Ambitious Kitchen!
The perfect breakfast! So glad they’re a hit 🙂
These are so easy to make and taste awesome. I love making them for my toddler.
So happy to hear that!
I really love this recipe. They are fluffy and my kiddo loved them. I subbed nonfat plain greek yogurt with a little water in place of the almond milk. I also added a few TB of flaxseed meal for extra protein. I used a little extra baking powder because we love our pancakes very fluffy. My son eats these with just a little butter and I used real maple syrup, but they actually are yummy plain. SO QUICK! YAY!!!
Perfect! Glad everyone enjoyed!
Made this today for National Pancake Day….SOOOOO GOOD!!!!
Love it! Best pancakes!!
Great recipe! Easy to make and impressed even my little sister only only likes box pancakes, added chocolate chips and walnuts
Love it! Perfect breakfast.
This is The best healthy pancake recipe I have ever made! I’ve tried others but this is by far the best! They really do have a pancake consistency, they are even fluffy! I have been making these for my now toddler for a year and a half now and always recommend this recipe to other mamas! I like to add spinach to have a little hidden veggies in there, they turn out green but still come out fluffy and you can’t taste the spinach! This recipe is a must and super easy to make! I’ve also added dark chocolate chips and other times blueberries, love! Anything goes! Thanks for the amazing recipes Monique! I love your page and content!!
Amazing! Great idea with the sneaky veggies 🙂 so glad you loved these!
Really easy and so delicious!!
So glad you liked them!
This recipe is my favourite pancake recipe of all time. So sweet I don’t even need maple syrup. Of course I still put it on, what do I look like, a monster? My only concern is I think the 10 minute cook time is not very accurate. I followed this recipe to a t except I used oat milk instead of almond and inuses coconut oil instead of olive. Maybe that had to do with it. Anyways they are so dense, it takes AGES for them to cook thoroughly. I texted my roommate offering to make her pancakes and then I was like “whoops, batter is on the counter, help yourself I’m laaate!” And she also ran late making hers haha. Other than that *chefs kiss*
So glad you love them! And so strange – did you by chance have them on a super low heat?
My 12 year old is obsessed with Ambitiou Kitchn and loves all the recipes. I made these pancakes yesterday for her snack after school, before swim practice and they were awesome! So easy to whip up, and they are the perfect healthy snack for the afternoon, although we could easily eat them for breakfast too.
Amazing! I’m so glad!
These were very good but I found them a little difficult to flip. They are a lot softer than a traditional pancake. Definitely will make again.
They are a bit more fragile because they’re just made with oats, but I’m glad you enjoyed!
Unbelievable! Absolutely loved this recipe — my loved it even more 🙂 I don’t have a blender so I used the large cup on my Ninja, followed the instructions and whipped up these amazing healthy pancakes. This will be my go-to recipe and can’t wait to share it with my grandchildren.
I’m so glad! Perfect breakfast to share 🙂
My husband hates banana and he couldn’t stand the smell of these. I absolutely loved them and so did my kids, but I was wondering what you would recommend as a banana supplement or maybe a different type of fruit?
I’m sorry I know the whole point of these is the banana but I want my husband to also eat healthy with us and I haven’t been able to think of anything. All and all, these were my FAVORITE
Glad they were a hit with you and the kiddos! Try my carrot cake pancakes or my apple pancakes for him 🙂
Great recipe and easy! Really like using the blender for pancakes. I did a batch with blueberries and one with chocolate chips. Delicious.
Easy and delicious! Glad you loved them!
Love, love, love these pancakes that do NOT taste healthy! They are absolutely scrumptious!!! Tried the recipe this morning for our family brunch and was totally surprised at the taste. My 2 grandkids (4 & 8) gobbled them up with me. LOL!
Aren’t they amazing?? So glad they were a hit!
Great recipe! I didn’t have baking powder so substituted that with 2 teaspoons baking soda and 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar. Turned out amazing, The pancakes were so fluffy and light. Added some maple syrup and sliced fruit, healthy and delicious. This is our go to pancake recipe!
Perfect! So glad that worked out!
The whole family is a fan of this recipe! We easily make these 2/week! We add Lilys chocolate to make them banana chocolate chip too!
So happy to hear that! Love the addition of chocolate chips 🙂
I make these pancakes at least once a week! These are a big hit in my family especially with my toddler. So yummy and I love how they are made with healthy ingredients!
So happy to hear that! One of our fav breakfasts, too.
I made the banana oatmeal pancakes more than once in the last two weeks. I love pancakes and never thought I’d find a healthy recipe that tastes so delicious. I’m glad I fell upon this site. Thank you for creating these healthy pancakes!
Amazing! So glad you loved them 🙂
Great recipe, we make enough for 3-4 days and reheat on the frying pan or in the toaster! We are planning to use this recipe when we start baby led weaning!
Love it! Perfect breakfast 🙂
These are my family’s all time favorite pancake! They’re so packed with flavor and I love the hearty consistency. They’re like muffin pancakes. 🙂 I make them ALL the time. ♥️
I’m so glad!!
I don’t typically review recipes. I am taking the time because I make these all the time and love them.
I use my Vitamix, When needed I top off almond milk once blended so that I have 3 cups of batter in blender. I use a 1/4 cup measuring cup to scoop batter onto griddle and make 12 pancakes. I freeze extras on a cookie tray then put in a ziplock bag for a quick breakfast during the week. A minute or more in the microwave and they are ready eat.
Amazing! So glad you love them!
I love these as a healthy weekday breakfast! They also keep and freeze well and all kinds of milk work.
The best! Glad you love them!
I halved the recipe for one person and just did 1/2 cup of oats and added a tbsp of chia seeds. They were amazing and much better than any other healthy pancake I have tried. They did take longer to cook then I anticipated and you should make sure to cook them for longer than you think.
(I used homemade cashew milk)
Perfect! Glad you enjoyed! And yes, great tip to watch the cooking time.
So yummy! Texture was perfect – I did blend the oats separately to ensure they were fine, but then combined together. I also halved and it was perfect! Can’t wait to make this again and again! ❤️
Could I use oat milk instead of almond milk?
Yep!
Hello – will oat milk instead of almond milk work?
Yes!
I made this recipe exactly as is except I only had organic skim milk so I used that and it was superb. The pancakes came out golden brown and were moist and delicious. I couldn’t believe how easy it was just putting everything in the blender! Hardly any cleanup which is always a bonus.
This recipe is spot on and you without a doubt have accomplished your mission of becoming “Queen of Healthy Pancakes”!
Perfect! So glad you loved them (and thank you!!)
These are the perfect pancakes! Sweet without sugar, caramelly, nutritionally dense, light, fluffy and totally delicious. I’m breastfeeding two kids and I need healthy carb meals like this to keep me going, but my toddler also loved them and my husband also loved them. An all rounder for our family!
Absolutely! So glad you found this one!
These are so so good! I top them with walnuts and maple syrup and they are by far my favorite pancake recipe to make!
Love it! Perfect breakfast 🙂
Hello! these pancakes are delicious. 10\10 the recipe is simple and easy to follow. i could not find cinnamon so i used less of cinnamon sugar
Perfect! Glad you enjoyed!
These quickly became a family favorite!
I’m so glad!!
These truly are 5 star! Our new favorite. Love that they can be made are gluten free and there is no added sugar. So happy we found this recipe. Pumpkin version is good too.
So glad you love them!!
Very good! I added two tablespoons of ground flax seed to make it even more healthy. Used plain yogurt and topped with raspberries. To avoid sugar put a little date syrup on top. Delicious!
Such a great breakfast!
I can’t begin to tell you how much I LOVE these pancakes! I make them every Saturday and it has become a new weekend tradition.
Thank you for sharing such a great recipe!
I’m so glad! One of our favs, too 🙂
These pancakes are delicious – I make them at least once a week. I use regular whole milk and add more cinnamon and vanilla.
Love it! Glad it’s a favorite 🙂
Great recipe! I’ve tried making banana pancakes before and they always turned out to be a flop. A big, gooey mess that didn’t hold together. I had never thought of using a food processor before… genius! My husband and I loved how delicious they are – and healthy!
Not sure why I’ve made this twice now and each time on low it is not cooking well for me browns way too quick and try and flip and it falls apart following all instructions Im at a loss
It sounds like your pan is too high if they are browning too quickly. Try making the pancakes smaller, lower the heat to medium low and be sure to use a nonstick griddle and grease well!
Can you use quick cooking oats? And also can you blend the oats into oat flour and mash the bananas then add them in a mixing bowl?
I recommend making the recipe as is, but quick oats should work!
Thank you for a great recipe! Using the blender to mix the ingredients makes it easier for me. I prepared this recipe on the weekend and we all enjoyed it, I had some leftovers but they did not last long …
I wanted to ask if I can make this recipe in the oven using a sheet pan. If so, do I need to modify something?
Perfect! Glad it was a hit. I’ve never tried making these on a sheet pan so I’m not 100% sure – let me know if you give it a try!
Made these for breakfast this morning and they were a hit! As someone who struggles to make gluten free pancakes these were perfect. The consistency is crunchy on the edges and pillowy and moist on the inside. And the perfect amount of sweetness with the bananas! I made extra to freeze but my boyfriend loved them so much he ate them all
So glad you loved these ones! Perfect breakfast 🙂
So so good. I try out new banana pancake recipes all the time and this way the best.
So glad you love this one!
Love love love these pancakes! Actually obsessed with them. So moist and fluffy and they actually keep me full, probably because of the oats and eggs. I love to top mine with Greek yoghurt, mixed berries and of course maple syrup. They’re a hit with the boyfriend too!
So happy to hear that! Perfect breakfast 🙂
This recipe is not our go to pancake recipe! So much easier and healthier than traditional pancakes. We missed these when our blender was out of commission. But it’s back and so are these pancakes! Thanks for the recipe. No mods required.
So happy to hear that! Such a great breakfast.
Made these for the wife and I. We absolutely love them, they’re a keeper. So easy to make. We added a few blueberries (frozen) after the batter pour.
Amazing! So happy to hear that.
My family and I devoured these pancakes. We didn’t even need syrup. I subbed chia eggs for the dairy since we are plant-based and used a griddle without oil and they still came out really good. My new go-to recipe for healthy pancakes.
Perfect! Glad they were a hit!
Perfect recipe. Sweetness comes from the bananas and the mix makes the perfect consistency. As a runner these pancakes provide the protein and no tummy upsetting ingredients. A dream! I wouldn’t change a thing. I did have to keep my gas burner pretty low to not burn them.
Absolutely! So glad you enjoyed!
I made these for my kids and they loved them! No syrup needed. My husband and I are vegan though—so my question is this: can I do flaxseed egg replacement? I assume so, but figured I’d ask.
So happy to hear that! I don’t think they’ll hold up very well with a flax egg, but you can try my vegan pancakes!
These were great. They were soft and a “little custardy” but they held up well to syrup and honey and didn’t breakdown. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed! If they’re a bit too soft you may need to cook them on low a tiny bit longer.
I never leave reviews on recipes but these are sooooo good and considered clean eating. I make these multiple times a week now. They microwave well too. Big fan, thanks for the recipe!
Amazing! So glad you love them!
These pancakes were delicious and easy to make, thank you
So glad you enjoyed!
Thanks for this amazing recipe! My kids are picky and frequently don’t enjoy healthier foods. But they will gobble these up. The baby especially loves them. It’s great for the whole family. Great texture and fabulous taste!
So happy to hear that! Perfect breakfast 🙂
These were excellent! They were so quick to make! No added sugar, no dairy or gluten, and still tasted amazing! My kids ate them all – I had to make another batch. Thank you. My new faves!
Perfect breakfast! Glad they were a hit 🙂
Delicious! I had been making ‘healthy’ pancakes with just banana, oats and egg, but your recipe is much tastier! The almond milk and baking powder add a nice fluffy texture.
So happy you enjoyed these, Liz!!
SCRUMPTIOUS!
So easy to blend up in my Nutribullet quick and delicious!
I have an egg allergy so swapped out the eggs with an egg replacer. I was out of milk so I used a Premier Protein shake in caramel flavour. (Costco) It added some additional protein and was fantastic. The batter was a bit thick so I added a little more of the protein shake. Making them again today!😋
Awesome, so happy you loved them, Debbie! Great to know the egg replacer + protein shake worked well in here.
Absolutely delicious!! I did half a recipe and it made three pancakes which is perfect. Thank you so much for the recipe and I will definitely make these again.
So glad that you loved them, Morgan!
Very tasty recipe. I haven’t tried it, but you know, it looks tasty. Disregard me.
Hope you can try it soon! 🙂
So good! I made this for breakfast this morning and the family gobbled it up! Tasted like banana bread!
YAY! So happy you guys all enjoyed them!
This is our most favorite pancake recipe! We went low-sugar, gluten-free a few years ago. In the process, we tried LOTS of pancake recipes. This one WINS!
We recently got a belgian waffle maker. With an extra 30 seconds of cook time, these come out perfect. This recipe makes 4 waffles.
Thank you so much for saving breakfast!!!
Also, the waffles can be frozen. We quarter them and pop them into the toaster fully frozen. They’re a little crunchy, but… easy snack anyone?? 🙂
So glad you’re loving these, Eva! Great tip to turn the batter into waffles–yummmm.
These are delicious. Thank you! I found that oat flour also works well, especially if you don’t have a blender, such as when camping. Just mash the bananas add the eggs and milk and mix well. Then add the other ingredients. One pancake is quite filling for me, topped with berries, yoghurt and a little honey.
Oh, that’s great to know! What a yummy camping breakfast 🙂
I just LOVED these super healthy and easy-as-123 pancakes. They will be my new Sunday morning breakfast!!
I’m so happy to hear that! Yay!
It’s delicious! My three year old ate it all no syrup with blueberries on the side. Just a funny kitchen fail to share with everyone. I used my long cast iron griddle. I forgot to turn the back burner and pour the batter on the cold side. 😂 don’t be like me and turn on all burners. I made it in less than 15 minutes from mixing to serving. Super easy and yummy recipe. Thank you!
Hahaha glad it all worked out and that you enjoyed them!!
Thank you so much for this recipe!! It’s so easy and they taste amazing! Pretty much the only way I make pancakes now! I top them with a bit of peanut butter and a drizzle of honey 😊
So glad that you’re enjoying them, Kim!
Quick and sooo delicious!
So glad you’re loving them, Courtney!
Really loved this recipe so quick and easy. I really don’t like almond milk so I attempted to substitute with oat milk – which I thought would go terribly. But it actually turned out really well! I’m a terrible pancake cooker as I always burn one of the sides (all pancakes) and did the same with these but even with that they were still yum. I’ll definitely be making again. I also just used basic rolled oats!
So happy you loved it and that the oat milk worked well!!
These pancakes are sooo good and I love that it uses all clean ingredients. I make these multiple time a week and they’re my new favorite snack.
I’m so happy you love them!! Thanks, Ashlee 🙂
Love these pancake! So easy to make (I typically use oat flour and just stir together in a bowl). Love that they are healthy so I don’t feel guilty making & eating them all the time!
So happy you’re enjoying them!!
The first time I made these, I forgot the eggs! lol. The batter was a little sticky but they were delicious, even without the eggs. Great recipe!
Oh wow, glad to hear they still worked out and that you enjoyed them!
Perfect for my baby who’s using baby-led weaning! Also added some spinach to add some color and iron, and she still devours them!
SO happy she’s enjoying them! Great idea to add spinach 🙂
Made these this morning, and this recipe is a great one for busy weekday mornings! Got a big 2 thumbs up from my younger, picky teen. I was skeptical of how these would compare to regular pancakes (due to high speed blending), but the structure was so fluffy. The pancakes are definitely better the longer the batter rests, I recommend waiting a good 5 minutes before you make the first batch. 🙂
Love these!! But can you please tell me a substitution for bananas? my husband can’t tolerate their smell.
Hi, there! So happy you love them. I’d recommend my Healthy Pumpkin Oatmeal Pancakes, which are also gluten free and made in a blender!
These pancakes are delicious! I made the batter so quickly. I actually cooked these in my waffle maker and they turned out great! Thanks for a delicious recipe.
That’s such a smart idea!! So happy you loved them!
I was sweetly surprised by your recipe for the smooth texture of the oats and the fact that there was zero wheat flour. I did add 2 tsp of melted butter, 1 tsp of demerara sugar and chocolate chips. Great way to sneak in oats for kids. Thank you so much!!
We love this recipe and decided to try it in our waffle maker this morning! It created delicate but delicious waffles!
So glad that worked out!!
Wow, these are really wonderful! Not only do they taste great (lovely texture, mildly sweet banana flavor) but they are so easy to make! I love that the ingredients are things that I typically have right here at home. I didn’t change a thing about this recipe this time other than I halved it and they came out perfectly. Next time, if I’m feeling like a splurge, I’ll add a few chocolate chips and chopped walnuts for that “chunky monkey” deliciousness. Thanks so much!
I’m SO happy you loved them, Andy!! Glad it worked out to halve the recipe. And YES good call on the chocolate chips and nuts–yummm!
I absolutely love this recipe – it’s become a staple in my house! Today i decided to experiment – added 2 tablespoons of cacao and 1/4 cup dried blueberries and it came out fantastic. Next time i may add 3 tablespoons to make it really rich. I really really wanted to add chocolate chips but cutting back on sugar.
Those are such great additions, yummm! So glad you’re loving this one 🙂
Just made these this morning. I doubled the recipe because I had 4 super ripe bananas. Delicious! So naturally sweet that you don’t need any syrup on them! The texture is lovely and they are fluffy and cinnamony, not to mention so healthy!
Yay! I’m so happy you enjoyed them, Jennifer!
SO good! These were so easy to whip up and we’re very tasty. The consistency was not too dense, and puffed up quite a bit while being cooked. The flavor is almost like banana bread, and the cinnamon isn’t too overpowering like in other recipes I’ve tried. We topped with fresh fruit and honey and it was delicious and filling. Overall, this was an incredible recipe that I will definitely we using again. Very satisfied! 😌
Aw yay, I’m SO happy you loved these, Brooklyn! 🙂
I don’t typically leave comments but for this recipe I felt compelled to share… this pancake was absolutely delicious and so easy to make. I would make this again and I definitely prefer this over regular pancakes.
Oh yay! I’m so glad to hear that, Adel 🙂 Can’t wait for you to make them again!
Always looking for a new GF recipe for pancakes & these are delicious my husband says!! ☺️
I’ve made them twice already! We don’t really like thick pancakes so the second time I added a cup of milk instead of 1/2 and they were perfect for us!
I also transferred the batter before it thickened to a better pourer than a blender and this time around was even more delicious! 😋
I’m so glad you guys are loving them, Chris! 🙂
Make it today… and then tomorrow… and then every day. So easy, so delicious!
Aw yay! So glad you’re loving these!
Just made these pancakes this morning. Absolutely delicious! I made them exactly as written except I didn’t have almond milk used whole milk instead. Monique, another winner! Thank you once again for hitting the mark.
Yay!! I’m so happy you loved these. Totally fine to use regular milk in here 🙂
I typically don’t leave reviews but I LOVE these pancakes and they merit a review. They are a healthy, delicious and filling breakfast.
I mix all the ingredients in my vitamix and I top off the batter with a bit extra almond milk when needed to reach the 3 cup line. It really depends on the size of my bananas.
I make three batches using 1 cup of batter for either 3 or 4 pancakes. Typically I cook, cool and freeze any extra pancakes for a future breakfast. They thaw out quickly in the microwave.
I like to top mine with 1/4 cup fresh blueberries and 1 tsp maple syrup. I have also topped them with almond butter or a few slices of fresh bananas. They are very versatile.
PS I have tried the applr and pumpkin oatmeal pancake recipes on this site as well. The banana are definitely my favorite.
Hi, Kristen! Thank you SO much for the review. I’m thrilled to hear you’re loving these!!
I have made these pancakes many times! It’s one of those magic recipes that is healthy, easy, delicious, and made from items you already have on hand.
Yay! So happy to hear you’re a fan of these, Rachel 🙂
Just made these – they were fantastic and so easy! All the ingredients fit in my personal-size ninja blender. Looking forward to making them again!
Yay! So happy they were easy and delish!
These pancakes were amazing! So easy to make. They were fluffy and delicious. Best part was I had all of the ingredients on hand! I will definitely be making them again!
Woohoo! I’m so glad you loved these, Heather! 🙂
Easy peasy and really yummy! After we poured the batter on griddle we added some mini chocolate chips. Tastes like banana bread pancakes, will definitely be making again! Thank you for this yummy and healthy recipe!
Yessss to chocolate chips in here 😍 So happy you loved them!
My one year old daughter and I love this recipe. We make them almost every Saturday!
Yay!! I’m so glad to hear that, Nicole!
Hey girl hey- everyone needs to make these!! So simple and I didn’t get that post pancake not so good feeling I sometimes get. They come out nice and fluffy. I added nuts and blueberries. Fuego!
Woohoooo! I’m so happy you loved these and that they made you feel good 🙂
We love making these pancakes! The whole family enjoys them incudling our toddler. I live for breakfast and these do not disappoint!
Yay! I’m so glad you guys are all loving them! ❤️
These are delicious and effortless. Definitely my go to recipe for pancakes. I’m also freezing so the fam can quickly toast them for a healthy snack anytime of day. Great to pack while hiking as well
Yay! I’m so happy you’re loving them, Cheryl 🙂
These are terrible. They don’t cook right, middle is gooey. Fake 5 star Ratings!!
Lol no fake ratings here 🙂 Sorry they didn’t turn out well for you. Did you follow the instructions carefully and let the pan heat up before pouring on the batter?
Delicious & so easy to make..
A great way to use up ripe bananas
Totally agree! Glad you’re loving them 🙂
Love this recipe! Make it weekly for my kids.
Yay!! So happy you guys love it!
This is my new go-to pancake recipe, I make this every single week without fail. Not only do I love that there’s no enriched white simple carbs included (yay for good BM’s!), but that I always have the ingredients on hand, it’s SUPER simple to make, and my kids (2.5 yrs and 9 mos) LOVE them – I can’t make them fast enough before they’re asking for more! If you’re a Mom, you know… the recipes your kids love, you keep around.
I do make a few very small changes. I add a small handful of spinach to the blender before blending, as well as a squirt (under a Tbsp) of agave syrup, and reduce the salt a bit for my littlest one. The rest of the recipe is exactly the same, and if I could give this recipe 10 stars, I would!
Aw I’m SO happy that you and the little ones are loving these! And those are great additions!
Love these, made them last weekend and the kids insisted that I make them again this weekend! I replace 1/2 cup of the oats with flour to make it more kid-friendly…
So happy you and the kids love these, Ren! 🙂
Heads up to my fellow amateur pancake makers – DONT USE FROZEN BANANAS instead of ripe ones! It will make the pancakes a lot less sweet and taste pretty bland. Because of that, I can’t really rate the recipe accurately. Will try again soon!
Sorry to hear that didn’t work well! Excited for you to try these pancakes again with fresh bananas 🙂
MAKE THESE!!!! Honestly. They are soooo easy and totally DELISH!!! Thank you so much for this recipe. LOVE!!! I’ve been GF for nearly 10 years and these are the best pancakes I’ve had. Even if you aren’t GF, please try them!
Aw I’m SO happy you love them, Shannon! Thank you!
I buy bananas just so I can make these they are amazing so much flavour and a great filling breakfast food! My 10 month old daughter loves them too and they are so easy to whip up!
Love that!! So happy you guys are enjoying them 🙂
I have tried probably a million gluten free pancake recipes / mixes. They all are different but this one is the best! We have made it several times and its the only way we make pancakes now. Its so easy that everything just goes in the blender. makes clean up so easy with my vitamix. My husband loves them!
These are AWESOME!!! We made the pancakes and thought we’d gone to Heaven, and now we’d like to make waffles…are they convertible? Thanks for ALL your great recipes!
Wow! These were so easy and yummy! I was feeling sick the other night and wanted pancakes, realized I was out of pancake mix and found this recipe. All the ingredients are ones I always have on hand so this was a no brainer. Delicious and felt maybe moderately healthier than normal pancakes? Not sure but I loved them!
Our go-to pancake recipe for years!
Love this recipe! It’s a go to!
This is one of my favorite recipes! Perfect for me and my little one. She gobbles them up! I like to pair with Greek yogurt for a filling breakfast. Seriously delicious!
These are my Saturday morning go-to’s!! Such minimal effort (and dishes!!) for a breakfast that feels really special! I usually freeze some and eat them when I want a quick, yummy breakfast!
These are our favorite healthy pancake option! I’ve made them with both oat milk and almond milk and they turn out great every time. My husband says they taste like “if banana bread were a pancake”! Thanks for great recipes, Monique.
I make these several times a week for my toddler!!! So easy and delicious!!!
This is by far the best pancakes I’ve ever tried !! My kids love them so much !
We tried this recipe twice and it is aaamazing ! My son loves it too. Thank you for this recipe Monique !
Another awesome, easy pancake recipe from AK. You are my go-to healthy breakfast source and you never fail me! Pinned this recipe along with so many others from you!
I’ve made these multiple times and there turn out perfect every time and freeze very well. A family favorite for sure!
Love these pancakes!!! I use 2% milk and add in blueberries to these pancakes. They are perfect to freeze and then heat up for a quick and fulfilling breakfast.
Turned out really well! Great texture and taste. I did not have any vanilla extract but otherwise followed the recipe to a t.
Yummy and easy to make it
I love all the AK pancake recipes! I meal prep a couple recipes at a time to stock up the freezer for my kiddos. This recipe is so quick and easy! I’ve added spinach a couple times and find that it doesn’t mess with the consistency much. My kids love these slathered in some peanut butter!
These pancakes are great everytime! They are a lot more filling than normal pancakes and just as easy to make. I recommend adding chocolate chips then 2 more seconds in the blender before cooking.
YES to the chocolate chips 😍 So happy you loved them!
These banana oatmeal pancakes were totally deelish! Last week I had the most fabulous oat flour banana pancakes in New York City and this morning I was craving them again. I chose your recipe because it looked easy (it was!) and I had my blender out anyway. I cut the recipe in half and there was plenty for two. Delicious!! A cross between pancakes and Banana Bread. 🥰 I used a nonstick griddle. I didn’t add any oil at all. They cooked rather quickly so I will lower the heat a bit next time. To top it off I had a few pecans leftover so they went on top with fresh strawberries. Maple syrup drizzling down, mmm. No butter needed (a first for me). They were so yummy and Instagram worthy too! I’ll tag you on that. Thanks so much for this fabulous recipe!! 🥰🥰 Mish
Oh yay!! I’m so happy to hear you loved these so much! Thanks for the review + for sharing 🙂
Love this recipe! Turns out every time and is so fast to make, a weekend classic in my house!
Yay! So happy you love them, Christina!
We love these and make them often in our house!
So glad to hear that! Yay!
So good! These pancakes turned out perfect and so easy to make. My 6 year old loved them!
So happy you guys loved them! Yay!
These are the best wheat free (and vegan for us) pancakes I’ve made. And believe me I’ve tried many recipes!!! I used two flax eggs and soy milk. My two sons and I gobbled them all up this morning! Thanks for another amazing recipe Monique.
Yay!! So happy that you guys loved these, Erin! Thanks for the review 🙂
I’ve tried lots of different healthy pancakes that just don’t quite tick the boxes for texture and density. These were great, really quick and felt right. I did add a spoonful of sugar cause I wanted a bit sweeter cake but also great without it. This is the new go to recipe for me.
Oh I’m so glad to hear that you loved these! Thanks so much for the review 🙂
We make this recipe weekly. So tasty, healthy, and my 2 year old gobbles them down!
Awesome!! So glad to hear that 🙂
Thank you for this easy and delicious recipe! My eight-year-old followed the directions exactly and made us these pancakes this morning. The only difference was we added some mini dark chocolate chips! They are sweet enough that no syrup was required! Thanks again!
Aw such a fun recipe for her to try! I’m glad you guys loved them.
Guess what Im making again! Yup my kids favorite pancakes. This is a recipe we can never get tired of perfect every time. Easy and full of flavor!
So glad you guys are all loving these!!
Excellent healthy breakfast recipe – thank you.
You’re welcome, so glad you enjoyed them!
These were awesome! Actually made them for dinner last night since we had some ripe bananas. I used sugar free ‘maple syrup’ that i made. These fit perfectly into my way of eating and my husband loves them. Thanks!
Yay!! So glad to hear you guys loved them. Thanks for the review, Diane!
Great recipe, thank you!
So glad you enjoyed them, Quinn!
I make these every month for my daughter! They freeze so well and then just pop in the oven in the morning for a quick nutritious breakfast and she LOVES them!
Such a great idea to make a batch ahead of time and freeze them! So happy you guys love them 🙂
They came out great with this recipe. I’ve tried others but this is my favorite.
Yay!! So happy you loved these, Jennifer 🙂
I’m just eating one of your banana oatmeal pancake recipe,
and it’s really good! I would like to give you 5 🌟, but it just let me give you only 4. Thanks. Love it!
I’m so happy you love them! Thanks for the review, and sorry for the glitch. Would you mind sharing what internet browser you’re using? We’re trying to figure out why this is happening to some people!
Every time we make these pancakes for the family, they are gone so quick! Not only delicious, but also healthy which we love ❤️. Thank you for an awesome recipe. It’s a staple in our home.
SO happy to hear that, Sena! I’m glad that you guys all love them. Thanks so much for the review ❤️
They were perfect full of flavor and easy to make. Will be making these again. I’d say my go to breakfast.
Best oatmeal pancakes recipe I have found. I tried so many and this has the perfect pancake consistency. My new fav!! Love them!! Will be trying all your other recipes too. Thank you!
Oh yay!! I’m so happy you loved them, Analy! Thanks so much for the review 🙂
Hey!
Just wanted to pop in to say THANK YOU for this easy, healthy and delicious recipe. I’ve been making these weekly on Sunday mornings for my twin toddlers and husband. My twins love helping to prepare the batter and we all enjoy – it’s become a ritual!
Aw thank you Robyn! I’m so happy you guys all love these. What a fun tradition 🙂
These are amazing! They are super easy to make, and they taste just as indulgent as traditional pancakes, yet using healthy ingredients. Thanks Monique!
Taste great, I substituted the almond milk for regular milk and it still tasted great. Can I leave half of the batter in the fridge and use it the next day?
Hi, Lela! The baking powder will probably lose its power if left overnight, so if you want to make the batter ahead of time, I’d recommend keeping the wet and dry ingredients separate.
Just made these pancakes, so quick & easy, great healthy way to use brown bananas, taste great, will be make lots more in the future
Delicious and healthy. So easy to make, and they taste like banana bread!
AWESOME recipe!! I made some of the best pancakes I’ve ever had with this. However, I did have to modify it, hence the 4 stars. I halved the recipe and felt that 3/4 cup oats would be way too much, so I did 1/2 cup (that means full recipe would be 1 cup) and the batter was perfect, almost too thick, even. I also didn’t have baking powder so I used 1/4 teaspoon baking soda and a squeeze of lemon juice right before cooking. The pancakes came out oh so light and fluffy and perfectly sweet while still having a hearty bite from the oats. I used an immersion blender because I didn’t have a normal one on hand, which might explain the decrease in oats I used. But I suggest you start with 1 cup oats if making the full recipe and, if that isn’t enough, add 1/2 cup.
Thanks for sharing! Yeah, I think if you used a blender the texture/thickness would be different. But happy they turned out well and that you loved them!
I have made these several times and absolutely love them! I am wondering though, would it be possible to change out some or all of the banana for pumpkin? Been craving some pumpkin pancakes!
Oh yes! I’d recommend my pumpkin oatmeal pancakes which are super similar!
Good but it makes 6, maybe 7 but not 9 pancakes if you use 1/3 cup batter per pancake. I’ll use. 1/4 cup next time.
Glad you liked them, and thanks for the note!
So so good! My 2.5 ate these right up and mom loved them too!
Yay!! So happy to hear that!
Made them this morning as I have been trying to look for gluten free pancake recipe after finding out my son is gluten intolerant. I can end my search here because these are just PERFECT!
Both my kiddos and I devoured these and honestly think these are even better than flour pancakes and so easy to make! Thank you for recipe 😊
Oh I’m SO glad to hear that!! Yay! Thanks so much for leaving a review 🙂
Not sure why I couldn’t give 5 stars! But these pancakes are super yummy!
Ooh that happens sometimes! Would you mind sharing which internet browser (i.e., Safari, Chrome) you’re using so we can work to solve that issue?
Happy you enjoyed these, though!
Love it! Super easy with the blender, and I just pour it straight into the pan. This one’s a keeper. Thank you!
Yay! Happy you found this recipe easy and delish!
I am a big fan of this recipe! For some reason my pancakes always burn pretty bad on the outside before the middle is cooked. I use medium heat. I usually use frozen bananas so I don’t know if that has anything to do with it. Any tips would be great!
Hmm yes it probably has to do with the frozen bananas, which would make the batter take longer to cook. I’d recommend using fresh if you can!
I made it. Thanks for the recipe. Absolutely delicious. Taste great!
I made it. Absolutely delicious. Taste great. Thank you for the recipe
Awesome! Happy you loved these, Farel 🙂
These have become a staple in my family. Do you think this recipe could work for muffins? Would love to make them for kids lunches.
Hi, Beatriz! I’d recommend this recipe or this recipe 🙂
This is my new pancake recipe! Delicious!! and healthy. Love it My 61 year old husband asked for more. (and he’s not a pancake guy). I put blueberries in and served with greek yogurt, walnuts and maple syrup. Lovely rainy Sunday morning breakfast. (where are the mimosas?! ) Thanks!
Waaaaay too thick for pancakes! I needed to at least double the mylk.
Strange, I haven’t had that happen. Are you sure you measured everything correctly? Totally fine to add more milk if you need to, though.
Its really good and easy to make 🙂
i tried the banana oatmeal pancakes and omg i am in love and your instructions were so clear and easy to understand
I’m so happy to hear that!! We work hard to make our recipes clear 🙂
Amazing!! I used the left over pumpkin from this recipe to make the Ambitious Kitchen pumpkin oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and those were also amazing! One can was perfect to make both recipes!
Great that you could use it up and make TWO pumpkin recipes 😍
So yummy! I made a double batch to have plenty of left overs for later. I’ve been excited for breakfast each day this week! I can’t wait to make more!
Aw so happy to hear that, Kate!
So love your banana pancake. The kind of pancake I’ve been longing for. It’s soft and fluffy. Thank you very much for sharing your talent. God bless you 🙏
I love it.
Super simple tender delicious healthy pancakes. Wow! This is now my “go to” pancake recipe! Full of flavor!
I make a TRIPLE batch ever week or every other week for my son and his family of five. We love them hot or leftover cold right out of the fridge. Great leftover as a cold sandwich with peanut butter.
Leave no banana behind! I make this recipe almost weekly. They are the perfect toddler (and mama) snack — hot, cold, plain, with peanut butter schmear. They hold up in the fridge for about a week, and they freeze well. This was my first AK recipe, and now hundreds of these pancakes have come out of my kitchen
Omg incredible!! I’m so happy you love these so much, Sarah 🙂
They are so yummy!! The 1st time I tired them I didn’t follow the heating instructions so I found that yo he key.
Thanks for sharing!!
Happy you enjoyed them!
Hi- great recipe. Are the macros per 1 serving or is it for all 3 servings total? Thanks in advance.
For one serving!
I love them! Thank you!
Yay!! So glad you do!
This sounds amazing! Could the batter be made the night before and kept in the fridge? Thank you!
I wouldn’t recommend that since the baking powder will lose its power!
I just made this recipe and enjoyed 3 delicious pancakes with date syrup!! How long will the remaining batter keep in the fridge?
Thank you!
Glad you loved them! I don’t think the batter keeps for long because the baking powder loses its strength. I’d recommend making the extra pancakes and freezing them! See the “how to freeze” section above 🙂
These were a hit with the kids!!! 3 and 4 yr old. Easy prep and clean up!! Rate it a 10/10. I used a non stick pan so I skipped the oil and butter.
Had trouble getting 5th star to light up! Excellent! Added some protein powder too. Shocked at sugar calculation I guess it’s the banana. Yummy breakfast.
Sorry–that happens to some folks! Mind letting me know what browser (i.e., Chrome, Safari) you use? We’re trying to figure out why that happens!
Happy to hear you enjoyed these 🙂
Omg these banana oats pancakes are so good , I found this recipe sometime last week and I can’t stop making these for breakfast , they are filling , delicious and good for u , I no longer feel hungry during the day when I have these pancakes along with eggs and turkey bacon hmm yumm . Thanks for sharing 🙂
So glad you found and are loving them!!
Added 2 Tbs Hemp Hearts for even more protein ! Delicious!!
Great add! So happy you loved these, Corinne 🙂
LOVED THIS
These have become my family’s weekend go-to pancake recipe. The original recipe is so easy to make and delicious! Today we were out of bananas and eating these with someone who has a severe egg allergy, so I subbed canned pumpkin and flax eggs. I also added a 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg and some extra almond milk…I could’ve probably added a little more almond milk, but this recipe stood up to the changes! My girls and our guest ate them all up and raved! Thank you for a solid recipe.
These are really tasty pancakes! I used oat milk instead because that’s what I had and they turned out great! Thanks for your recipe!
Love this recipe! Pancakes turned out nice and fluffy.😊
Made this for my family and it was a huge hit! My 2 year old who usually skips breakfast gobbled up 2 pancakes. We will be making this again! I used oat milk and added blueberries, totally delicious.
I followed this recipe but halved everything because I wanted a smaller portion. They tasted amazing and were so easy to cook. Loved it
We’ve been making these pancakes for breakfast for over a year and they are always BIG hit! We even make extra to reheat the next day.
Simple, healthy and delicious.
Wonderful recipe!!!!
Aw thanks so much for letting me know, I’m so glad they’re part of your routine!
these were amazing, i made them about 7cm diameter and got 14 out. definitely making them again soon!
Awesome! Happy you loved them 🙂
This was so easy to make and delicious! The only alterations I made were the use of cow milk and quick oats. I highly recommend this recipe for anyone who loves flavors similar to banana bread 😋
Nice! So glad to hear you loved them 🙂 Thanks for the review!
You are the queen of Healthy pancakes!! Made theses pancakes this morning and they were a hit and were very delicious!!!! Had to print the recipe right away!! Thank you!! Do you have one with coco and blueberries?
Yay!! Happy you loved them! I don’t have one with cocoa but I have a BUNCH of blueberry pancake recipes — just search “blueberry pancakes” in the search bar!
Wow, how quick and yummy! I thought these would be dry and gritty like oatmeal pancakes can be, but they were wonderful! One serving really fills you up. Thanks for the recipe!
Nice!! So happy they exceeded your expectations 🙂
I’m not sure how people are getting these pancakes to turn out successfully. I’ve tried making these multiple times and the consistency of these are so flimsy that I can’t even flip them.
Sorry to hear you’re having trouble! Are you measuring precisely and using old fashioned rolled oats? Also, are you blending the batter until completely smooth?
Love ‘em! Best healthy pancakes that I’ve ever made. These taste so good and come out just right every time that I don’t even try any other pancake recipes anymore… And they are healthy! Quick simple easy and delicious!
Yay!! So happy to hear that you love them, Bill 🙂
This has been our go to pancake recipe for the past year. I pretty much follow the recipe as written most times.
I have use used whole milk, coconut milk, half and half when I did not have almond milk and each time it has been delicious.
I have mixed in apple sauce when I was low on bananas and it came out well.
We like it best with just bananas.
Once we were traveling and we had no cinnamon or vanilla, we tried it anyway and it was surprisingly good. You could then really taste the bananas.
We mix in chocolate chips or blueberries for variety.
Thanks for this really easy, yet tasty and healthy recipe, Bonus points for minimal mess with everything just blended together 🙂
So many variations, love it!! Happy to hear you guys love them–thank you for leaving a review!
This recipe is delicious! My entire family loves this recipe. My kids ask for these healthy banana pancakes every Saturday!
Love that–such a fun tradition! Thanks so much for leaving a review 🙂
Our home loves these pancakes! My son is 1yr and loved them since he could start solids with peanut butter on top. My husband and I love them as well and like to have extra for the next few days. Yummy and healthy
I’m so happy you guys love them, Susie!
This was absolutely delicious. I couldn’t wait for my bananas to get really ripe, I wanted to try these so much. But the less ripe banana worked flawlessly. Thank you!
So glad that it worked out well and that you loved them, Leanna!
Delicious! I increased the recipe by half (made 1.5 recipe). Followed the recipe exactly but then added 1/2 cup more oats, 1/4 c almond milk, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/4 c pumpkin purée, 1 tbs ground flaxseed and 1 tbsp brown sugar. It was so good! Wasn’t expecting my kids to eat them but they did (with mini chocolate chips 🙃). Will absolutely make these again. Thank you!
I’ve made these a few times and they turn out great! I love adding chocolate chips and topping with fresh fruit or fruit compote. I am wondering is it possible to make these in the oven as baking sheet pancakes? I need to feed a group all at once.
Hi! I’m not sure, actually, as I haven’t tried it! Let me know if you do!
So easy! I have made these a handful of times and I actually get excited when my alarm goes off knowing I get to heat up these pancakes!
Hi! I dont have a blender? Will it make a difference if I hand mix?
Hi! I dont have a blender is it okay if I hand mix the batter? Will that change anything?
The oats need to be blended to be broken down! I’d recommend checking out some of my other pancake recipes, many of which are gluten free 🙂
I tried to make this before, didn`t succeed. This was THE BEST recipe ever. I can`t wait to make it again. It was so delicious. Thank you.
SO good!!!
I’m so happy you love these!
The Banana Oat pancakes are delicious! I am allergic to milk and wheat so these are perfect!
SO glad you loved them, Angie! Lots more dairy free recipes here if you want to explore 🙂
Love this recipe! Plus I’ve given it to friends, and they love it also.
Simple to make, and simply tasty!!
🥰
I’m so glad to hear that! And YES love freezing them 🙌
I forgot to say, I make several batches at a time and freeze them, they are as tasty toasted in the toaster as when freshly made, plus breakfast is ready in a snap!!!
🥳
My gosh these are amazing. What a great alternative to oatmeal! I love that these are super quick and guilt free, great for a weekday morning but good enough for guests and a weekend fix. Cooked using butter flavored coconut oil, drizzled with pb ‘n a little syrup and a few cacao nibs tossed on top. 100 different ways to go with this, in my top 5 fave recipes of all time! Thank you!!!
Yay!! I’m so happy you’re loving this recipe, Abby! Love the cacao nibs on top 🙂
This recipe is good! Also easy with the blender. Perfect pancakes, just a bit less airy, a denser wetter texture, but still delicious, and no added sugar.
I’m glad you enjoyed them, Edoardo! Thanks so much for letting me know 🙂
Wow, these are really good! I have also added some vanilla protein powder for the extra flavour 🙂
Nice! So happy you loved them 🙂
As a generales rule I am skeptical of “healthy” pancakes. These are the exception. While they don’t necessarily replace a regular pancake to me, they did the trick for my pancaking cravings. I agree that they taste VERY similar to banana bread and they’re such a satisfying breakfast.
I used regular milk and couldn’t find my vanilla extract, but those were the only modifications/omissions. Next time I definitely want the vanilla in there as it makes such a difference. Also, I might try blending the oats by themselves first for a smoother consistency. These were a tad chewy which is definitely not bad, but a smoother batter might make it more of a pancake.
So happy you love these ones, Kelsey! Good idea to try blending the oats separately for a finer texture.
This was absolutely delicious!! Can I ask, is the given nutritional value for all 3 servings or per serving?
Thank you
I’m so glad you loved them! It’s for one serving 🙂
We have an almond allergy and wonder what we can replace the almond milk with? Thanks
Hi, Pia! Any milk will work well in here 🙂 Dairy milk or oat milk are great options!
This recipe was so easy and delicious! Everyone raved about them. I added 1/4cp of chopped walnuts (but pureed in the blender with everything else!). Also used oat beverage as I didn’t have almond on hand. The hint of coconut from using coconut oil also enhanced the flavours. Thanks for sharing this recipe – it is now one of our favourites!
That all sounds amazing, so happy you loved these! Appreciate the review, Brad 🙂
These tasted great and even better smelled like donuts while cooking ! Loved by everyone even the banana hater in the fam!
Mmmmm DONUTS! Love that! Happy you all enjoyed these 🙂
First time every making a pancake like this.. very tasty. Different texture but that should be expected.. I would make again just to change up my breakfast.. thank you.
I’m glad you enjoyed them, Arlene!
My family loves these pancakes, both my pancake picky husband and my toddler. And I love how easy and healthy they are. Thanks for sharing!
These were incredible! I do most of the cooking but my husband usually does the pancakes. I made these for the kids this morning as a more filling but still fun treat and they were amazing! Only mod I made was using cows milk. The oats add such a nice texture and they really made me feel so much better than I usually do after having pancakes. I can’t wait to make these again! Love your site.
Delicious healthy and easy! My go to for pancakes now.
I’m so glad you love them! Thanks, Shelly 🙂
So easy and delicious – clean up is the best when all you used was a blender!
Toootally! Happy you love these 🙂
Exactly 9 pancakes! Super easy and oh so yummy! DEFINITE DO OVER!!
WTF this took like max 15 min in total and literarily one of the best breakfasts I’ve ver eaten. it was also SO easy to make as the measurements you gave a perfect consistency, and I didn’t have to make any changes. I topped it with a drizzle of honey and some chopped strawberries and they looked so gorgeous. tasted even better. thank you so much for this recipe, ill definitely wake up excited to make this every Sunday.
Yessss 🙌 I’m so happy to hear that! Can’t wait for you to enjoy these again 🙂
I was looking forward to this recipe…I followed directions exactly….tried many different temperatures but they would not cook in the middle
I would definitely try again…any suggestions on how to have them cook all the way through…the taste is amazing
That’s so strange, are you sure you followed the instructions precisely and measured carefully? I’d recommend watching the video above^ to see if the texture of your batter was the same as mine!
These were the perfect snowy Sunday morning breakfast! Quick to make and so delicious!!
These are delicious!! I use certified gf oats so it makes them healthier. Husband loves them and gf friend says they’re the best pancakes she’s ever had in her life. I’m not a pancake person but these are great! Make for breakfast or without syrup for a healthy snack. Quick and easy. Thanks Monique.
Ahh I’m so happy you love these, Cindy! Thanks for leaving a review 🙂
Easy to make and absolutely delicious, these pancakes are going to become a staple in my house! I love that these are a healthier alternative to traditional pancakes. Thank you for this recipe! 🙂
These Banana Oatmeal pancakes have become our go-to pancake favorites. We love them! Try adding pears to the revipe- really sweetens the pot! 😋
Oooh love that idea! I’m so happy you guys are loving them!
Delicious as are all of your recipes. Followed the recipe except I added some flaxseed and always add choc chips and walnuts. Can these be made as waffles in a waffle iron?
I haven’t tried them but lots of commenters have said that it works well as waffles! 🙂
We made these pancakes for the first time today. All the ingredients came to 0 points on my WW app. They tasted good and we added some sugar free syrup and chopped pecans. Will make again! Thanks!
Super easy, and little dishes. Pancakes were fluffy and delicious.
So yum!!! The texture is perfect and the flavour is nice and balanced. These are our new fav pancakes hands down!
Hello! I LOVE these *I make them every other week* but I just ran out of baking powder! I saw another comment saying to use baking soda and vintager but then online it says cream of tartar and baking soda so I am not sure on what to do but I think I will try the vinegar and baking soda!
Hmm not sure, I haven’t tried it! I’m so glad you love these, though 🙂
One of my very favorite recipe. Have a question: is the 311 calories for 1 serving – 3 pancakes. I usually eat one serving and freeze the other two servings. I like to add dry roasted, dried blueberries and/or dried cranberries. Great recipes. I have a couple of over ripe bananas headed for a double batch of pancakes and then the freezer. Thanks for the great recipe. 😍
Hello! So glad you love these 🙂 Yes, the nutrition information below the recipe is for one serving, not the whole batch.
Fabulous! I had this pancake w yogurt/sliced bananas & peaches w a sprinkle of cinnamon!
OH MY GOD. Speechless. SO SO SO good.
YAAAAY I’m so happy you loved these! Thanks, Brittany!
.
I made these and they were delicious, I added blueberries and coconut oil for cooking because the olive oil fried them overly brown, but still yummy
Tasted great!
Happy you loved them!
These were delicious!! Made as is and they turned out great. My one year old loved them too!
So happy you both loved them, yay! ❤️
Excellent recipe! I’ve made these 20+ times during this drawn-out pandemic. They’ve been wonderful. I add an extra 1/2 teaspoon baking powder and use a lid when the pancake is cooking on the first side (not during the second) – seems to increase volume on any kind of pancake. I use a pastry brush to dab a bit of oil on the edges when the 2nd side is cooking for those thin crispy edges we love. Thanks for posting, was exactly what I’d been looking for – healthy and reeeeeeeeally really yum.
Ahh I’m so glad these are on repeat in your kitchen! Love those tips, too — thanks for sharing 🙂
Amazing tasting pancakes!! So fluffy and easy to make!
I’m so glad you loved these!!
A half a recipe of these were just what I wanted. I added 1/2 tablespoon of white vinegar- for rise- and used pumpkin spice this time.
I made as 1 big pancake, cut in 4 parts when I flipped. No pretty but tastes great.
Ooh fun, love the giant pancake idea! Happy you loved it 🙂
This is a fantastic recipe. The aroma when making it is pretty amazing too. My husband whirled these up in our Vitamix and cooked them on the griddle with coconut oil. We had some bourbon barrel aged maple syrup to top them off. So good and super quick! I recommend giving it a whirl.
Thank you, Gail! I’m so happy you loved them!
I just made these for brunch when I saw how ripe the bananas were and they were a a real hit with everyone. I didn’t have eggs so used egg replacement.
I’ve been instructed to “keep that recipe and do it again soon” thank you
Oh I’m so glad everyone loved them!! Thanks for the review, Lynda 🙂
Beautiful healthy pancakes.the substitute I used were oatmeal and oat milk they were so good I will definitely make these again for my weekend healthy treat Served mine with Greek yoghurt & touch of honey.
Thankyou for the recipe now my favourite 😊
These couldn’t be easier and are delicious!! So fluffy and flavorful. My bananas weren’t even super ripe and the pancakes came out perfect.
Fantastic! The batter is deceivingly runny but these pancakes are thick, fluffy and delicious. My whole family loved them –
These are my kids’ favorite pancakes in the entire world and I love them because they sneak in whole grains! Thank you for this recipe!
Question : Does anyone know if these would work as waffles? I’ve been too chicken to actually try it!
I’ve seen a bunch of comments from people saying they’re great as waffles! I’m so glad you and the kids love them 🙂
Wonderful! I am so glad I found this recipe because I LOVE pancakes. I have been making them using almond flour because
I try to avoid refined wheat flour.
These are by far the best tasting pancakes I have ever eaten. I may over measure my oatmeal, so I find these to be a little thick for me. So I add one extra egg and they come out perfect for us. These are my go to pancakes. I don’t try anything else. These are just to good.
Love this recipe! So easy to make and so healthy! Its my son’s favorite breakfast- ours too 🤩
Aw I’m so glad to hear that! Yay!
Only modification was making the pancakes a little smaller than 1/3cup batter as I had trouble flipping the one I tried using a whole 1/3cup. They turned out perfect with crispy edges (my fave) and were a huge hit with the whole fam. Will definitely be making again.
Good to know, and totally fine to use less batter! Happy you all loved them 🙂
So easy to make and turned out great! Doubled the batch for company. Loved the thick texture, and that even without sugar or syrup they’re sweet enough. We added chocolate chips to some for the kids 🙂 thanks for another great recipe!
Hi, can I make this recipe with flax eggs?
Hi! Great question! Personally I haven’t tried it but I think it might work if you add 2 tablespoons flaxseed meal and 1/4 cup extra almond milk to the blender. Hope you love them 🙂
Tasty and healthy pancakes!
Had a real mom-win with these pancakes… they’re AWESOME! They were so fluffy and easy to make! added hemp, chia, flax seeds, and blueberries and my daughter gobbled them all up. I’m stalking every recipe now. They all seem simple enough with most of the ingredients I already have- I just didn’t know how to put them together! Making the strawberry banana quesadillas tomorrow. Thank you so much!!!!
Amazing!! I’m so happy you all loved them! Can’t wait for you to try the quesadillas, too 🙂
These are DELICIOUS! They are even better than regular pancakes!!
Aw thank you! I’m so glad you think so!
Best pancakes I have ever had!!!!!!
Yaaaay I’m so glad to hear that!
Very good, healthy and gluten free pancake recipe. Be sure to give the batter time to sit after blending.
I like to add in fresh berries and chopped, roasted nuts.
Absolutely delicious! You can’t tell at all that the traditional ingredients have been swapped for their healthier counterparts. It’s also incredibly easy to throw together and clean up. Thank you for sharing this recipe, it will be on our weekly breakfast rotation for sure!
I was looking for a healthy banana pancake recipe since I knew what I was going to do to them (slather with passion fruit curd and coconut syrup). I did use 3 small overripe bananas and added about 10g of ground flaxseed to feel better about myself. I let the mix sit for about 5 minutes to thicken up before putting them on the griddle and sprinkling some diced macadamia nuts on the raw batter side before flipping. (Can you tell I was missing Hawaii?)
They turned out amazing and full of flavor which is more than I can say for most oat based pancakes I make. They scratched the tropical itch with my add ons but would be perfect banana bread-esque comfort food any time of day. Thanks so much for the recipe. Bookmarked for future me!
The pancakes came out thin and floppy. Not fluffy in the least bit. I followed all the directions to a T. Not sure where it went south.
That’s so strange, they definitely should have been fluffy! Sorry about that. Any chance your baking powder is old?
THANK YOU!! for this amazing recipe!! The pancakes are absolutely delicious and so so easy to make. I’ve been making them as an occasional weekend breakfast treat for about a year and my brain still cannot accept they are healthy – pancakes this good cannot be healthy, right?? Nope, apparently wrong 😉
One question – can the batter be frozen, or only the cooked pancakes??
Hahaha amazing!! I’m so happy you’re such a fan of these 🙂 I probably wouldn’t recommend freezing the batter because the pancakes won’t turn out as fluffy, sorry!
So easy and yummy! My question is can I double the bananas without doubling the whole recipe? I want more banana flavor but not sure if I should reduce milk or something to maintain batter consistency.
Hmm I wouldn’t recommend altering the amounts of ingredients in here. Using very ripe bananas should help to amp up the banana flavor 🙂
These are by far my favorite healthy pancakes I’ve made! Great flavor & texture! I have to be honest! I do not own a blender! So I used a standard mixer & they came out fine. I added walnuts on top! They were delicious!
I’m so glad they still came out amazing and that you loved them! Yay!
I just tried this recipe and oh my god, I’m genuinely blown away because these were the tastiest and most perfect pancakes I’ve ever made! Just the right amount of fluffy and firm and the sweetness was on point too! Such a great recipe! Thank you so much for this! Will definitely be using this on the daily from now on! <3
Ahhh that is amazing!! I’m so happy they came out perfectly! Thanks so much for leaving a review, Kritika 🙂
These were just fantastic! And I appreciate that substitutions can easily be done depending on what’s on hand. Would you have any advise on adapting this to waffles? Thank you for a terrific find!!
Thanks so much! I’m happy you loved them 🙂 I haven’t personally tried this recipe as waffles but lots of other commenters said they have with great success!
These were so delicious. I veganized them by using “chia seed” eggs. I highly recommend these pancakes!
Happy the chia eggs worked well and that you loved them, Vivian! 🙂
Pancakes tasted delicious!!! I used GrassFed milk instead of the Unsweetened Almond milk.
Nice! Any milk is great in here 🙂 Happy to hear you loved them!
Love these! I’ve hunted for so long for the perfect pancake recipe. Fluffy but healthy! Felt impossible. I was wondering if I can double this? It perfect for my little family but would love to make a bigger batch for guests.
SO happy you loved them, Gabriela! You can certainly make a double batch by simply doubling all the ingredients 🙂
Delicious! Healthy! Love them! I asked my teenagers if they like them or if they just taste like healthy pancakes – and they loved them, healthy or not.
Amazing!! So happy the whole fam loved these, Nicole!
Overall, this recipe was delicious!!! Will make over and over again in place of normal pancakes, I topped with maple syrup and blueberries and it made for a delicious breakfast. This batch made 5 large pancakes for me and it was perfect for myself with some leftovers.
I’m SO thrilled to hear that they turned out amazing, Maddy — thank you! Can’t wait for you to make them again 🙂
OMG looks like it would be great lactation pancakes ! 😛
Ooh yes love that idea!
Could you make the batter the night before and refrigerate?
Hi! I think they pancakes wouldn’t be as fluffy because the baking powder will lose its strength overnight. But let me know if you try it!
I am trying this today but this sounds absolutely delicious and healthy. Thank you so much.
These were so tasty! Fluffy, flavorful and healthy!. Easy and quick!
Super easy and delicious!! I added a few dark chocolate chips on top and a smidge of real maple syrup. Yummy!
I love this recipe. So yummy! My picky partner calls these “the best pancakes he’s ever had” and says “they actually taste good instead of just like something you need to put syrup on!” I make these for my baby (11 months) and have been for a few months. He loves them. We leave out the salt, add extra cinnamon, always cook them in coconut oil for the delicious flavour, and use regular milk because that’s what we have. They are really flexible and forgiving (one time we were out of baking powder and used baking soda), and always always tasty. They are really flavoursome if you add some berries while cooking, as well. Such a good meal for the whole family and great to freeze and pop in the toaster for easy breakfasts/snacks! Highly recommend.
a bit bland and too bready
Sorry you didn’t love them! Do you think they needed more sweetness? Or a little more salt to bring out the flavor?
These are the best pancakes I’ve tried. The flavour, the texture and best of all. No added sugar or flour.
I’m SO happy you loved them, Andrea! Thank you so much 🙂
Really great eating them simple or with syrup !
Delicious and healthy for adults, kids and toddlers! I would not change a thing!
Thank you for this great recipe!
I made this pancakes this morning and they were delicious.
Thank you for sharing your recipe !
You’re so welcome! Happy you loved them 🙂
This recipe is a total hit in my home!!! I’ve been making it for a few months now and my 4yr old requests it atleast weekly. I stubled onto the recipe as i was looking to add pats to his diet and i love that he’s taken to this recipe without a hitch as we have struggled for a while to get him to have oats. Today i tried it with red apples as I’m out of bananas, 2cups grated apple (about 1. anda half medium apples) worked just as well with a tablespoon of baking powder instead and i added 1 tsp maple syrup for a little extra sweetness. So greatful i came across
So happy that you and your son both love these!! Thanks so much for the review 🙂 You might like my Healthy Apple Pancakes, too!
Super easy to make and healthy! It’s definitely better with very spotted bananas like the recipe says. I make a batch of these and cook them all at once then store in fridge or freezer in stasher bag. This way I have multiple days of breakfast ready for my 11 month old. Super easy clean up too because all I have to wash is the blender and measuring cups. Thanks so much!!!
I love this recipe! My 5 year old DEMANDS pancakes every weekend! I feel less guilty making pancakes every weekend using this recipe. My husband even likes it and says it’s nice not to feel loaded down after eating pancakes. This is a very delicious (and easy) recipe!
I’ve just started a Mediterranean plan as I am on the verge of diabetes. This recipe fits perfect and my better half really enjoyed them. Light, fluffy and filling served with Greek yogurt and a few berries and seeds. Perfect start to the day. Made double so I can freeze them.
I’m so glad this recipe was a good fit for your diet and that they came out great, Amanda! Thanks so much for the review ❤️
Pleasantly surprised by both the taste and texture of these pancakes! 5/5 and super easy to make – just put everything in a blender!
Yay!! I’m so glad they came out perfect 🙂 Thanks, Rebecca!
I’ve tried many ‘dessert’ recipes using oatmeal & this is hands down the best recipe when you’re craving something that tastes like it’s bad for you. I eat mostly protein, veggies & high fiber carbs so this hits the spot. The texture is flawless with no grittiness, but is also flavorful & not bland. I top it off with blueberries, raspberries & strawberries & for me it’s like a dessert.
SO happy you love this one, Tracy! Thanks so much for the review 🙂
These are delicious and easy to make! The batter was quite thick so I added a little more milk (I used oat milk). Will be my go-to banana pancake recipe!
Yay!! So happy they turned out delicious 🙂
Today I made this but we were low on maple syrup so I added sweetened shredded coconut on top with a bit of syrp and it was fantastic!
Good recipe. My pancakes turned out to be amazing!
Thank you! I’m so glad they turned out great 🙂
These pancakes were excellent but the recipe yielded 13 pancakes for me! Will freeze some.
Good to know! Mine were probably larger. The more the merrier, I guess! 🙂
I find recipes online frequently, and this is the first time I have felt the need to comment. THESE ARE AMAZING! My son has asked me to make them 3 days in a row. Thank you!
Aw thank you SO much for commenting! I’m thrilled to hear you both love these!
These were delicious! I used egg white instead of a full egg and they were so fluffy. Will definitely be making these again!
So glad they came out amazing! Thanks, Melissa 🙂
These pancakes are so easy and super delicious. My sister made them for.me the first time and I made her send me the link to the recipe. She added mini chocolate chips to hers. I made them myself a week or so later and I added chopped pecans to mine, which added a bit of texture and was also DELICIOUS. I highly recomm3nd giving these a try!!
Love that! One of our favs, too!
Can I mix this up the night before and let it sit in the refrigerator until morning? Will it be as good?
Hi! I’m afraid it will likely be too thick after sitting that long.
These pancakes are absolutely amazing. If you are wondering whether or not you should try them, i highly recommend you do. After many failed attempts at finding healthy pancakes that taste good, i was extremely skeptical, however after the first time making them i was hooked. About 40 batches and 1 year later they are still the best pancakes ever. Some mornings, if i know i don’t have much time. i’ll cook them up the night before and reheat in morning before topping with coconut yogurt and any fruit in the fridge.
Thanks so much, Elisha!! I’m so happy you found the recipe and that it always comes out great 🙂
Delish, I threw in a handful of blueberries as well. These are definitely worth making. Thanks for the recipe!
Nice! So happy they came out great 🙂 Thanks for commenting, Adam!
This is my go-to pancake recipe! It’s so easy, i almost always have all the ingredients on hand, & doesn’t leave a ton of dishes to clean. Ha! My husband and my 7 month old loved these this morning. I added 1 tbsp of flax and a scoop of unflavored protein powder & they came out great!
I’m so glad you all love these pancakes! Those are great nutritional add-ins 🙂 Thanks for the review, Jordan!
Great recipe with delicious results. I used protein oats which worked a treat. Plenty left to freeze for later in the week. Winner!
So happy they came out amazing and that you had leftovers — YAY!
They didn’t work for some reason. I have my pan between medium and low, yet they burn on the outside and don’t cook on the inside. Flipped when I was sure the bottom was burning and once flipped the insides spilled over the edges of the pancake. The ones I could eat were very chewy. I’m a great cook I’m not sure what the deal is. Followed exactly.
Sorry to hear that! It sounds like something went wrong. I’d recommend watching the video at the top of the post to see how the recipe’s made + what the batter should look like after blending + in the pan. Hope they turn out better next time! And thanks for the feedback 🙂
This recipe is awesome when used with eggs ! I tried doing it with chia seed eggs and didn’t work as well(they wouldn’t cook all the way through on the inside). If using the chia eggs you may need to use more oats potentially ? Anyways, this recipe is awesome and so are some of the other pancake recipes on here !
Thanks for sharing! Interesting about the chia eggs. That makes sense, though. More oats might help, but I haven’t tested it so not sure! SO happy you love them, though 🙂
These were good! I have a very wimpy blender so it didn’t blend the oats very well. For a smoother batter, Next time I will put the oats in the Cuisinart first. I added chocolate chips to the batter. I used 2% milk. I will definitely make these again.
Good idea to blend the oats first! So happy you enjoyed them 🙂
I made these with my picky-eating toddler and they cooked up beautifully and we’re delicious! We used whole milk, added freeze-dried blueberries, and omitted the cinnamon.
So happy they turned out delish!!
So good!! Way more satisfying than a traditional pancake. Doesn’t weigh you down for the day and so easy to freeze/reheat for on the go mornings. Thank you!
Hi,
The recipe is great. Can I make the pancake batter in the evening and make pancakes next day?
I don’t think the texture would be great if the batter sat overnight, sorry! You could definitely cook the pancakes at night, freeze them, and pop them into the oven or toaster to reheat in the morning, though 🙂
Delicious and easy to make !!!
These are the BEST pancakes! Light, fluffy, and healthier. Highly recommend for meal prep too- they still taste great after being refrigerated for a week or being frozen.
YAY I’m so glad you love them!!
Love, love, love these. After a couple of batches, I do increase the amount of milk I use. I like thinner pancakes.
Thanks for the note and that’s a good idea! Happy you love them!
Surprisingly good! So happy that I found a new use for all those overripe bananas that isn’t banana bread.
Absolutely! Glad you enjoyed!
Love this pancake recipe and so does my family! They’re so easy to make right in the blender. I love the fact that they’re made with oats! Try these pancakes. You won’t be disappointed.
I’m so glad! They’re our favs, too 🙂
I made these for breakfast before school today and my 3rd grader immediately noticed the banana flavor and the texture of the pancakes were different to those we typically make. She wasn’t even in the kitchen when I made them. She has a slight aversion to bananas, so she ate 1.5 pancakes before deciding she didn’t like them. I liked them and my 3yo toddler liked them. They turned out just like regular pancakes on the griddle, so that’s probably why my 3rd grader even tried them at all. The chewy texture is a bit off-putting though.
Haha glad to hear she still ate 1.5 pancakes!! And thanks for commenting 🙂 Not sure about that chewy texture — they should be fluffy. Wondering if you did something differently?
Super simple to make, took a matter of minutes to throw everything into the blender. Cooked perfectly & were so delicious. My new go-to pancake recipe!
These were so tasty and the texture was great. I have made oat pancakes before which tasted like oatmeal in pancake form, which I am not looking for. These were exactly what I was looking for. I changed the seasonings a bit, using 1/2 tsp salt, 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp turmeric and 1/2 tsp curry powder. They still taste like sweet pancakes because of the banana, and you get the flavour and health benefits of spices.
I will definitely be making these again. The whole family loved them! Thank you!
Oh YAY! So glad to hear it. Thanks, Chase 🙂
I couldn’t try these because I’m allergic to banana, but they smelled amazing and my 13 month old and husband loved them. I added blueberries to them and added a little more whole milk than the recipe called for because they looked a bit thick to me. Once cooked, the pancakes smelled like delicious banana muffins or bread. I’ll make again for sure!
Sorry to hear you’re allergic, but SO happy they both loved them! You might like these apple pancakes, too 🙂
These pancakes are delicious! I used quick oats because that was all I had and they turned out great. I will definitely make these again!
This was such a great recipe! I got a craving for pancakes, googled healthy pancakes and clicked on the first thing I saw – your website. Great work!!
Thank you!! I’m so glad you found the recipe and loved it 🙂
I love this pancake recipe, and have been using it for about a year now. I make it almost weekly and feel good about having a nutritious breakfast for my kids before they head to school. They are sad when we run out of bananas! I do usually add a little more milk to thin them out a bit, otherwise I make the recipe as is! Thank you for such a great, easy recipe we’ll continue to use for a long time!
The best recipe for the whole family! Baby, kids and parents!
Woohooo I’m so glad you all love these!
Amazing.
I have been using this for years and coning back to this page.
Sometimes I add protein powder too!
Thanks for this recipe!
These are gross. They come out bland and soggy inside no matter how long you cook them. After cooking the first few, we added 2 Tbsp melted butter and 1/4 cup whole wheat flour to the batter to savage it. Will not make again.
So yummy. Followed directions exactly.
I’m so glad!
These pancakes were amazing! Followed the recipe exactly and just added a tiny drizzle of honey and some nuts.. highly recommend!!
Thank you!! So glad you loved this recipe, Kay!
Easy and delicious! My only complaint is that my 2 toddlers love them so much I have to double the batch otherwise my husband and I won’t get any!
Ahh this is great! So glad you and the family are loving this recipe 🙂
Love these pancakes. These are the only ones I make now as much healthier than American pancakes. I add blackberries in the pancakes in the pan and serve with maple syrup. Yum!
Ahh this is amazing! So glad you are loving this recipe!
The best pancake recipe I have ever made!!!
I didn’t have almond milk so I used coconut milk instead.
Also, I added a few dates for sweetness and while cooking I added a few frozen berries.
They turned out very tasty!
Ahhh this is amazing! SO glad you loved this recipe 🙂
Love getting all these recipes that are nutritional and easy life’s hard enough this helps so much!
Absolutely! So glad you are loving these recipes ❤️
Absolutely delicious! A warning though: I had leftover batter and didn’t want to make any more so I put the batter in the freezer. NEVER DO THAT 😆!! I ended up with pancakes that were mushy in the middle and burnt on the outside. Lesson learned.
Ahh that is SO good to know, Bryanna. I’m SO happy you loved this recipe ❤️
The perfect healthy pancake! Super easy and delicious with any toppings. Next time I think I’ll throw a few chocolate chips in!
Yumm! So happy to hear it came out great, Melissa ❤️
The most perfect pancake recipe ever! …. I have tried a few, definitely five stars
YAY! Happy you are loving this recipe ❤️
Best oat pancakes I’ve made ever! I added blueberries and topped with yogurt and maple syrup. However the recipe says it makes 9 1/3 cup pancakes but it only made 6 1/3 cup pancakes 🙁
Oh I am so sorry to her that these didn’t make enough, I wonder what could have happened. But, I am glad to hear that you are doing this recipe, the blueberries and toppings sound amazing!
I have been making these every day for breakfast this week I have become obsessed!!!!
The BEST! Glad you are enjoying this recipe!
Recommend cooking on low heat to prevent over browning.
They came out delicious and topped mine with maple syrup and some blueberries!! Curious, is there a specific amount to set on the pan to evenly get nine pancakes?
I would recommend 1/3 cup of batter for each pancake. That should make 9. So happy you enjoyed this recipe ❤️
Super easy. My son loves these and it’s helping him come to terms with eating ‘healthily’! X
YAY! Happy to hear you are loving this recipe 🙂
These were so yummy! Thank you for the simple recipe
I have made these a few times now.
And my Wife and I thoroughly enjoy them!
We both like Gingerbread Pancakes, so with this latest batch of your Oatmeal Banana Pancakes I added about 2 Tbl. of Molasses and 2 tsp. of my Gingerbread Spice mix.
They turned out awesomely. Definitely will be a do over.
Thanks again for your Post.
Best healthy pancake recipe I’ve seen so far. Deliciou and easy to make. I don’t use cinnamon and I use just a dab of oil before the first pancake in the pan, so it’s almost oil free.
Really wanted to like these but the mix was extremely stodgy. Followed it to a T, but the batter was extremely thick (nearly blew up my blender, yikes) and then they simply wouldn’t cook, even after thinning the batter with additional milk they were gluey and claggy. Not one I’ll repeat, unfortunately.
Oh no! I am sorry to hear that this recipe didn’t work out for you. I am not sure what could have happened, I haven’t heard of this problem before.
Hi, I made these pancakes for breakfast today. I used frozen bananas, thawed them beforehand. They were nice but too dense, and a little bland (other recipes I make usually add melted butter, that might be the difference). I added an extra tablespoon of milk, didn’t want to make the batter runny, but it could have benefited from a couple tablespoons more. I suppose oats are like flour and different brands absorve different amounts of liquid. Anyway, thank you for the recipe, I’ll try it again and see how it goes.
The best recipe! These are the only pancakes I make for my toddler. I make a batch and freeze them and they reheat beautifully! I’ve been making this recipe probably 3x a month for over a year. Thank you for sharing this with us!
The batter seemed so thin I thought I’d end up with a soupy mess, but no such result! These pancakes came out beautiful and delicious. I will make them again and again. Husband and toddler loved them. Healthy, but still felt indulgent.
Results were heavy and too sweet.
Might have been due to using ‘just eggs’ as substitute for actual eggs and our bananas were more large than medium.
Sorry to hear that this recipe did not turn out the way you had hoped. That definitely could have been the problem.
Such an easy meal and they are truly delicious! I’ve tried making blender pancakes before but these ended up so light and fluffy. I am planning on making ahead and freezing. My kids and husband both have two thumbs up!
YAY!!! SO glad this recipe is a hit for the whole family, Olivia. 🙂❤️
Great recipe, My only tip is to include the order of the ingredients in the blender. I accidentally added the oatmeal first and it ended up affecting how everything else combined (which was not very well). Next time I would either try adding all the wet ingredients first and give them a blend, then go in with the dry. Either that, or combine them separately in a bowl first before putting them in the blender.
Thank you for sharing your recommendation. Hope you enjoyed this recipe!
Very yummyyyyyyy!!! I added cacao powder and it was a plus!
Yum! I prepared this recipe with half the amount of each ingredient for a single serve. Delicious!!
Yum! Sounds delicious. So glad you are enjoying this recipe 🙂
These were incredibly fluffy and delicious! Thank you for the recipe!
So glad you enjoyed!
Amazing! Super easy to make and these were delicious. I love oatmeal and banana for breakfast and these were a great variation! Needed a healthy alternative to regular pancakes and these do not disappoint!
Love it! Glad you gave these a try!
Very good, I added blueberries and they were delicious. They do burn whilst you turn your back so you do have to watch them carefully.
Ah, hope you were able to salvage some. Blueberries are a great addition. Glad you are enjoying this recipe! 🙂
I was looking for gluten-free pancakes. And these are WONDERFUL! I never throw away bananas (I peel overripe bananas, slice in big chunks and store in a freezer container). I guessed how much 2 bananas would be and I defrosted in the microwave, there was liquid on the plate but I did not use it just the chunks of bananas). And I followed the rest of the recipe. Excellent! My young adult sons are into fitness and they really appreciated the oats and no sugar.
I can’t wait to try this pancake recipe out. They sound incredible. And what makes it even better and easier, you make the batter in one blender. Amazing!
Absolutely! Easy and delicious 🙂
Our family has used this recipe in many of our breakfasts ☺️ It’s quick and easy to make and most importantly, the kids love it.
Excellent! So glad you and the fam are loving this recipe ❤️🙂
How can I make these chocolate flavored?
Just not a good recipe, the required moisture needed to actually blend leaves the pancakes with too much moisture to cook fully through on the griddle. Pancakes were burned on both sides and they were still goo in the middle.
This has been a go-to recipe for us for years! They are in fact my father in law’s favorite pancakes ever.
I got a waffle iron for Christmas and am wondering if anyone has ever tried cooking this batter in one?
We make this recipe almost every weekend and it’s delicious every time! Thank you:)
Such a good use of browning bananas when you don’t want to make bread! My toddlers review was “THIS BREAKFAST MAKES ME HAPPY!” So there ya have it! Thanks for this easy and tasty pancake recipe!
Aw this makes ME so happy ❤️ Glad this recipe is a hit!
These pancakes have totally turned me against any pancake made with white flour or Bisquick. Why would anyone eat an unhealthy pancake when they could be eating these!? We made them at a Pre-K to 5 after school program in Mexico once, and the kids asked for seconds, thirds, fourths, and we ran out before they could ask for fifths. After that, the school chef was trained on how to make them and they became a normal part of the school’s breakfast menu. I can’t say enough wonderful things about these pancakes! Thank you!
Ah this is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe, so glad you are loving it ❤️🙂
Amazing recipe! So glad I found it. Even my unhealthy eaters ate these pancakes up. Thank you!
This recipe calls for far too much almond milk. The moisture from the bananas and eggs should be enough. These wouldn’t set and were impossible to flip because of how wet they were
I don’t own a blender it accidentally got lost when we moved so I had to use the only thing I had the Nutribullet the thing you make protein drinks with ,. I had to make it 2 batches. Then I put everything into a bowl my stupidity I didn’t wipe out the bowl after I washed it, 👎 so I had excess liquid and they came up a bit watery so I’m gonna go out today and buy a blender. but these were absolutely delicious. I added a little cocoa powder and we had chocolate pancakes The leftover pancakes are going to be frozen so if when need a breakfast one day we’ve got them . I now I have a new favorite pancake because. Next time I make these I’m gonna add something different to them. Again, these were absolutely delicious..
After finding our son to have gluten sensitivity (ultimately through the making of pancakes), my wife and I started searching for a gluten friendly recipe and came across yours. Since then, we have been enjoying these pancakes regularly for several years now! They are easy for me (Dad) to make, and are very good! My whole family loves them! Thank you for sharing your recipe with us, we appreciate it!
Lovely. Easy to make and went down with my fussy 13yo.
Absolutely delish! You would never know they are healthy. My new go to recipe!
Just made half a batch of these pancakes since I was feeling nostalgic for those 2 ingredient banana pancakes I used to make — and these were way better and super delicious! Very much satisfied my craving!
OMG,,,,these pancakes are so delicious and easy to make . they are fluffy and the favor perfect!! thank you .
I have made the Healthy Banana Oatmeal Pancakes 2 times. They are quick, easy and taste fantastic.
These are the most AMAZING alternative pancakes ever!! The texture is just perfect and they taste soooo good!! I will never go back to making flour base pancakes. Great job 👏🏻
My entire family loves these pancakes. I add unsweetened, shredded coconut in the blender with the pancake mixture. I also add blueberries to each pancake after pouring the batter onto the griddle. They cook nicely and add color and a bit more moisture. They’re delish!
These truly are the best & easiest pancakes/waffles! I make them ahead of time and freeze them for the week.
The healthy banana pancakes were a lovely surprise,, they were so delicious and moorish, we could have very easily not shared them, they were so good!
Well done ambitious kitchen!
Best oatmeal pancakes ever! These are my son’s favourites. Thank you
I love this recipe
Very tasty… I adapted the recipe a bit- used regular milk, some Greek yogurt, and extra baking powder ti make them a bit fluffier. These are so good on their own!
Excellent! SO glad you are loving these pancakes 🙂
Batter is way too thin and they did not turn out good because of it
Oh no! So sorry to hear that. Did you change anything about the recipe?
These were good insofar as flavor. But even though I cooked these longer than recommended they didn’t really cook all the way through. Family didn’t care for the texture. I’ll try again, but will run the dry oats in the food processor first, maybe that will fix them!
Hi,
The nutritional value is per serving right so nearly each pancake is 103 calorie.
Such an easy recipe and a fantastic taste. Thank you so much. My granddaughter is going to love these. I read a comment about using this bad as waffles and you had mentioned you would possibly try and test that out. Have you had a chance to do that yet I’m thinking to add another quart of a cup of oats to get the batter a bit thicker Thoughts?
The recipe is not good at all. All pancakes were sloppy and I was super angry in the end of cooking. P.S. your ratio is not right
hi Lena – so sorry this recipe did not turn out. did you change anything about this recipe? not sure how they were sloppy… was the batter too thin or thick?
I first came upon these pancakes last year when looking for a recipe to make my nieces that was quick and nutritious. Since then I’ve made these more than I can count! Such a great easy recipe.
This recipe was amazing. So simple to make and so delicious I ate my serving before I even had the batch cooked. Tastes like banana bread. So appreciate the tip on how to freeze them for later. Also the tip about turning the heat down between batches is smart and necessary. Highly recommend this recipe. Delish!
Aw thank you so much – Glad you are loving this recipe!
I made these using 2/3 cup canned coconut milk instead of 1/2 cup almond milk. They were a big hit and disappeared quickly! Perhaps the greatest compliment is from my toddler: absolutely nothing ended up on the floor. I’ll double the recipe next time.
YES! Perfect, SO glad to hear these are a hit ❤️
One of the best ratio recipes I have tried! Some others did not work… These were great. Fluffy and light texture. I did add only one teaspoon of baking powder, because two sounded like a lot and I hate the taste of baking soda.
Ahh yay! This means so much, I am so glad this recipe turned out great for you and you’re loving it 🙂
I had 3 brown bananas that I needed to use up so I increased this recipe by half. It turned out really well. I liked that it was sweet without any additional sugar. And the added fiber from the oatmeal was a plus. My blender did struggle with the mix but I did get it ground down fine enough the texture turned out okay.
Glad to hear you are enjoying this recipe and it turned out for you!
I make these all the time. They are my go to pancakes and they are delicious 😋
Yay! I am so glad you are loving these pancakes ❤️
Another Favourite recipe from ambitious kitchen! Delicious and easy
These were great! I used some banana I had in the freezer. Thank you for a great recipe.
This is one of my favorite go-to recipes for a healthy and easy breakfast, I’ve made it more times than I can count. My toddler loves it, too. So easy to customize with different healthy add-ins, we like sprinkling a few blueberries on the tops before flipping. Love it.
Yay! So glad this recipe is a hit ❤️
Oh my gosh- my husband was recently diagnosed with diabetes, and he was heart broken to know he can’t have pancakes and waffles anymore.. I found this recipe last night and made it this morning! It was a HUGE hit and a relief to my husband who realized he can still have some of his favorite foods just modified! Thank you so much!!
Aw I am so glad you found this recipe and that you are both loving this recipe ❤️
Thank you for recipe. It worked for 4 almost rotten bananas😍
Ah yay! Glad you’re loving this recipe ❤️
Hard to flip. None of my turned out , I’ve used different recipes and they turned out much better !
Very easy and delicious. Will make them again.
I am so glad ❤️
Thanks for this recipe..very quick and delicious with no added sugar. I added some hemphearts and chia seed and flax seed for a bit of added nutrients and protein.
Yay! I am so glad you are loving these pancakes, those additions are the best 🙂
These are great!! We eat a lot of oatmeal and bananas, and have been looking for fun ways to change it up. These are definitely going to be a staple at our house from now on!
The taste is great, and I love that I don’t get that ‘I just ate a bunch of flour and sugar’ feeling you get after regular pancakes.
We added frozen blueberries to the batter to make blueberry pancakes and it was perfect.
Thanks for the recipe!
YUM! Love these so much, glad they are a hit for you too!
Absolutely fantastic recipe all on its own! 5/5!
Some of my extra add-ins included tbsp’s of peanut butter powder, flax meal and coconut oil. Also reserved one of the bananas, cut into little cubes, and hand mixed into the batter after blending for added banana-ey flavor pockets. Went with oat milk for consistency of flavor, and added a little extra to compensate for the added dry ingredients. Finally.. before the first flip.. topped each pancake with even more banana cubes and some crushed walnuts. Perfection!
Ah this sounds absolutely perfect! Glad you are loving these pancakes and they are a hit 🙂
These pancakes are so healthy, yet so delicious!!
Yum! So glad you’re enjoying these pancakes 🙂
I like to add a little sour cream or yogurt in place of some of the milk as it gives a little more rise while cooking. I did use whole milk as well. We added chocolate chips to some and pumpkin spice to others. The measurements are perfect.
These were really good! I halved the recipe to fit it in my nutribullet and served them with maple syrup for brunch. Definitely making them again!
Ah yay! I am so glad that you are loving these pancakes and they turned out great for you ❤️
I made this with some modifications and they were delicious! I just happened to have three bananas at home so I used all three. Instead of adding milk, I added 1 more egg. Everything else was the same as the recipe, I also added a little bit of chocolate chips. My toddler absolutely loved it! I made this recipe before but I reduced the baking soda and the pancakes tasted ok but not fluffy. I will stay stick to the recipe!we say cheddar together, OK?

LOOOOOVED them!! Definitely doing it again!
Yay! I am so glad 🙂❤️
These are consistently amazing! I can fit a triple-batch in the blender and freeze the leftover pancakes, which is super helpful for our busy home with little ones. I was wondering if the batter could be made ahead of time, or if anyone has tried refrigerating the batter overnight and making the pancakes in the morning. Thanks!
Love this so much! Glad you are loving this recipe and it is turning out great for you. I honestly have not made the batter ahead of time, but you can make the pancakes ahead of time and keep them in the fridge/freezer (as you have already done)! Let me know if you make the batter ahead of time, and how it turns out!
So delicious. Had these for breakfast this morning. Will definitely make again
YUM! Glad to hear you are loving these pancakes!
Great healthy recipe and the kids love it !
Easy to make and an excellent replacement for your normal pancakes.
Yay! I am so glad this recipe is a hit for you and the kiddos 🙂
About to make these. The receipt was sent to me because they are so yummy. Do you think I could add protein powder
I haven’t tried it so I am not quite sure how it would turn out. So sorry!
Your pancake looks puffy, mine is not. What could I do to fix that? I follow your instruction exactly.
Oh no, what was the texture of the pancakes?
followed recipe but added nutmeg, doubled the recipe and added nuts and raisins when in the pan. let the batter sit for a few minutes so it will thicken up because when you blend it it looks too thin. tastes really great and you wouldn’t believe there’s no flour in it
YUM! Love this one so much and I am so glad you’re loving it as well ❤️
I made this one by blending rolled oats. But instead of blending all the ingredients together, I simply folded the ingredients in until just combined. It’s not sweet at all but it’s fluffy. Perfect for topping with honey.
Yum! Love these so much, glad you found this recipe and it is hit for you ❤️
Delicious, no fail pancake recipe! Had so much fun making and eating these with my daughter. We both loved them!
Ah yay! I am excited to hear that you and your daughter are loving this recipe, Alex. ❤️
These were absolutely delicious. I halved the recipe and made 2 after my workout. Topped with a couple chocolate chips and served with pure maple syrup, these were more yummy then any store bought pancaked and so healthy. Love love love ❤️
Yum! Sounds amazing, glad it turned out great for you 🙂
Obsessed with this recipe!! I make it almost everyday! My daughter loves them and you can store them in Tupperware to heat up for your kids throughout the week. I sometimes add carrots, and nutmeg for a carrot cake flavor and sometimes I add an entire apple if my apples are sitting in the fridge for too long.
So happy to hear that! Great idea to add some extra fruits & veggies, too – I’ll have to try that next time 🙂
These were delicious and filling. Mildly sweet, great oaty texture, and moist/chewy as I prefer them. Finally some pancakes I don’t feel gross after eating!
Love this – glad you’re enjoying these pancakes!
Such a great recipe! I make these whenever I have ripe bananas on hand. Great for freezing leftovers for busy mornings to grab, reheat, and go!
Yay! So glad you’re loving these pancakes!
The banana oatmeal pancakes were delicious! I added cooked blueberries on top. Adding this recipe to my favorites 😋
Yum! Love this so much, and the blueberries on top sound AMAZING!!! Thanks for sharing ❤️🫐
Delicious fluffy pancakes!
I am so glad you’re enjoying these pancakes 🙂
Thank you very much!! Absolutely delicious and sooo easy to make. Great receipt!!
Thank you so much! Glad you found this recipe and are loving it 🙂
Healthy and tasty but for some reaqon they kept burning initially even when lowering heat
Oh no! Make sure your pan isn’t too hot when initially pouring the batter into the pan. Hope that helps!
Hi, we tried this recipe today and the pancakes turned out really bad! We were so disappointed to say the least 🙁 The inside of the pancakes were uncooked even though we followed the recipe
Hi Elly – I am so sorry to hear that these did not turn out for you. It sounds like maybe the pan / griddle was too hot so the outside was cooked before the inside. I would recommend keeping it low/medium, that should help these cook more evenly.
The balance of flavors in this recipe is spot on. Each ingredient complements the others perfectly, creating a delicious harmony.
Ahh yay! I am so glad you found this recipe and are loving it 🙂
Great recipe! I added more bananas because I had lots on hand and some vanilla extract. Will definitely make again.
Yum! Glad you’re loving these pancakes and they turned out great for you!
these are my most favorite pancakes EVER. They are moist, they are tender, absolutely delicious, and the fact that they are made with such wholesome, healthy ingredients is amazing. I use homemade almond milk but I have also used cow’s milk or just plain water and they come out great. If I am out of ripe bananas, I use applesauce. I doubt i’ll ever make another style of pancake ever again. They come out perfect every time. I add a teaspoon of olive oil and a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar for some tang. I cook them on my iron skillet, no additional butter or oil in the pan needed:)
Aw this is the best, Kate! I am so glad you’re loving this pancake recipe and they turn out great for you every time! ❤️
Favorite recipe. Have been making this one for years, and made it again on a whim this morning for the first time in ages. Quick, easy, and DELICIOUS as always! Thanks Monique, I love these.
WOO! So glad you have been loving this recipe for so long, Montana. I always enjoy having recipes that I can refer back to and they are always a win ❤️
These pancakes are the absolute best!!! We love them. Thanks for sharing. I’m not buying anymore pancake mix. This is it!
Ahh this is so great to hear, glad these pancakes are a hit, Daisy!
The best pancakes. Easy to make. I added a little nutmeg because I love it. I froze mine & eat one plain every morning. Thank you for sharing your recipes.
Of course! Glad you’re loving these pancakes, Tessa!
Really great! I loved them!😁 So delicious!
Yay! I am so glad
Love this recipe. Would love to know the single version recipe for this. As only I eat it at home please.
You can make this batch and then freeze some!
Just made these pancakes for the umpteenth time! These are the best oatmeal pancakes and so easy. These also freeze well as the recipe notes, I like to reheat them in a toaster.
WOO! I am so glad you are loving these pancakes, Glenda! Thank you so much for coming back and sharing your comment, I truly appreciate it!
Can I use oat milk instead of almond or no?
Sure! Enjoy 🙂
I had a few bananas going bad so I decided to try this recipe. Overall it is a solid oatmeal pancake recipe! The flavour is nice but not sweet so definitely need to add some chocolate chips, jam, or syrup. The texture is like a bowl of oatmeal and a pancake had a baby. It’s hearty and filling. I made it into two larger brunch servings and added chocolate chips. They went down well! If you didn’t want to add sweetness after I’d add a bit of brown sugar or sugar substitute to the batter. I’ll make these again!
Excellent! Excited to hear that these pancakes turned out great for you, Shawna 🙂
I recommend adding some blueberries once you add the batter to the pan, also some chocolate chips for an extra little burst of sweetness! They’re already so delicious without this too though, especially if you use ripe bananas that will give the pancakes such a wonderful natural sweetness. My favorite special breakfast recipe for sure :)))
AH yay! This makes me so happy to hear and I am so glad you are loving this recipe, Elsa!
These are delicious!!! The flavor and fluffy texture is perfection! My kids and I love them and will happily eat them without any syrup. I love that these pancakes use 2 eggs since my kids will not always eat eggs by themselves. I used oat milk. My blender is also not the best, but was able to mix this without any issues.
Yay! I am so glad this recipe is a hit for you and you’re kiddos! Thanks for giving this recipe a try 🙂
My favorite pancakes!!! I’ve been making them weekly for years!!
Is there any sub for bananas? I realize that’s really a silly question, but thought I’d still ask in case you’ve tried something else out. Really not a huge fan of bananas 😇
Hi! I haven’t tested anything besides banana, but you could try applesauce or pumpkin puree possibly. Let me know if you give it a try and how it turns out!
This was my 2nd time making healthy pancakes and I loooved the recepie, it’s soo good. There wasn’t any problems in the making and not with the ingredients. I doubled the ingredients and it turned out so well, I made about 30 pancakes. And I served the pancakes with blueberries and agave syrup. I definetly recommend trying it out! 10/10
Ahh this is the best, Alika! So glad you found this recipe and are loving it 🙂
These were a perfect way to use very ripe bananas, and easier than normal pancakes because I didn’t need to melt butter. I used whole milk and added a small amount of both butterscotch and chocolate chips after blending and they were really tasty without syrup. I’ll keep this recipe handy for keeping up my milk supply, maybe adding in some flax and brewers yeast. Thanks!
Amazing! Happy to hear you’re loving this recipe and it turned out fabulous for you 🙂
Truly the best banana oatmeal recipe. It always comes out great, good for a sweet treat while trying to be healthy. I usually just use regular milk and add more cinamon
Ah yay! This makes me so happy to hear, Farah! Glad to her you gave these a try and they turned out great for you!
These were such a quick, easy recipe and a new fave! I added a tbsp of chia seeds and blackberries on the side. Thanks for a great recipe!
Welcome ❤️ Glad to hear you loved these pancakes!
I split the recipe in half since i’m only cooking for myself. It created 4 silver dollar pancakes and they were delicious! Solid recipe.
Yay! SO glad this recipe turned out great for you 🙂
Great recipe for both we GF people and everyone. I can’t wait to try it on my grandkids!
Yay! Glad you’re loving this recipe, Pat!
My kids devoured these!
Yay! I am so glad these are a hit ❤️
These pancakes are delicious! Tastes like banana bread. They are springy and fluffy. I have no fear of getting hungry before lunch now because these have great ingredients in them. Thank you!
Perfect! So glad you’re loving these pancakes 🙂
This was yummy! Made these for myself and my mom and we both enjoy them very much!
If I may ask, how long will the batter last in the refrigerator? Is it best to freeze vs refrigerated?
Thank you for sharing this recipe!!🥰
Glad you are both loving these. I wouldn’t recommend storing the batter for long, but you can totally make all of the pancakes and the freeze or refrigerate them for meal prep!
These pancakes are delicious! They’re healthy but just as satisfying as regular flour pancakes. The texture is so good. I’ll definitely be making these again, they’re great fuel before a run or bike ride.
Amazing! So happy you found this recipe and are loving these pancakes, Danielle ❤️
These pancakes were so good! My family loved them! We used oat flour instead of oats, and they turned out perfect. Thank you for sharing the recipe!
SO GOOD! Glad you and the family are loving these pancakes!
This has been a family favorite for years! I have 2 picky eaters and they’ve always loved this recipe! We add chocolate chips every time and I sometimes sneak in flax, chia and/or hemp seeds as well. I love that it can all be dumped in the blender- quick, easy and healthy for a week day breakfast!
Amazing! I am so glad you and the family are loving these pancakes and they turned out amazing for you, Emilie ❤️
Quick, easy, healthy, and delicious. A new go-to pancake recipe!!
Perfect! So glad you’re loving this recipe, Caitlyn!
Made this recipe for the first time for my 12 month old 3 wks ago and now I have made it 3x! It’s safe to say we both love it and it makes my mornings go so much smoother when I have some leftover in the fridge!!
aww yay! I am so glad these are a hit for you both 🙂
Delicious! I needed to use up 2 bananas and I’m trying to add more fiber to my breakfasts. This recipe for the bill. I made 6 pancakes and 3 mini waffles with the batter. Both worked out great!
Yay! Glad these turned out amazing for you, Jen!
These pancakes are seriously the best!!!!! I haven’t tried a better banana pancake recipe than this, they actually satisfy a pancake craving, and being 30 weeks pregnant that is saying a lot! With blueberries was amazing
Perfect! This makes me so happy to hear! Glad they turned out fabulous for you 🙂
Hi could I sub applesauce for the banana? If I can, how much would you suggest.
Thank you
Hi! I’d recommend using this apple oatmeal pancake recipe instead 🙂 Enjoy!
Can I keep the batter made in the fridge? If so, for how many days you think? I wanna try this recipe but I also wanna have it ready to be made.
I am not sure how the batter would hold up in the fridge, but you can make these pancakes ahead of time and reheat as you’re ready to eat them. They make the perfect meal prep!
These pancakes were delicious! There is plenty when you’re on a training diet. Cooking up the rest and freezing them. Easy to make, gluten free, and tasty.
What else could you ask for!
So perfect! Glad you’re enjoying these pancakes and they turned out great for you!
Inedible. Tastes so strongly off baking powder. Disappointed in the amount of food I have to waste in throwing out the rest of the batter. I couldn’t even finish my first pancake. And this was made with even more milk than the recipe calls for because I like thinner pancakes.
This is my go-to pancake recipe because it is absolutely delicious and healthy! These are all ingredients I feel good about eating. I usually add an extra 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and then add a few dark chocolate chunks too
Amazing So glad these are a hit and you’re loving them 🙂
Delicious pancakes!
These are my absolute favourite pancakes. They work every time and are totally delicious. Thank you so much for this recipe.
Of course! Glad you’re loving this recipe ❤️
This is the best oatmeal healthy pancake I’ve tried ❤️
YAY! Glad you gave this one a try and it turned out amazing for you ❤️
Just made these and they were great! Perfectly light and fluffy texture with subtle flavor. My only issue is that I got 7 pancakes instead of 9. I measured the ingredients exactly as directed, using medium-sized bananas and a measuring cup for the batter. Maybe I over filled but even using a scant 1/3 cup would probably have added up to one more small pancake.
Glad you enjoyed them! Hmmm I’m not sure how the recipe came out to fewer pancakes as I’ve always gotten 9. I’ll have to double check the next time I make them!
This is a really great recipe and this has become a breakfast staple for me. My only knock is that this never comes close to making 9 pancakes for me. I can get 6, maybe 7, at best.
Glad to hear this is a go-to for you! Strange that you’re only getting 9 pancakes with this recipe – the next time I make them I’ll be sure to double check.
Is there a way to avoid cinnamon? I am severely allergic to it.
Hi! Feel free to omit it.
Lovely moist and fluffy pancakes, these are the only pancakes my 14 mo will eat!
Amazing! Happy to hear that!
I made these this weekend, and they were great! I added a little more milk so they’d spread out more evenly in the pan. Thanks for a good recipe!
Perfect! Glad you enjoyed!
I saw a leftover banana on my kitchen counter this morning and immediately thought of these pancakes! They are so easy and delicious. I cut the recipe in half (only had one banana) and added pecans and dried craisins as mix ins. The pancakes were perfectly sweet and I barely needed any syrup (my banana was very ripe!) definitely a winner recipe!
Amazing! So glad you remembered this one!
I make these weekly, my toddler twins and husband loveeeeee these!
I make these ALL the time and they’re so good!
These pancakes could not be yummier or easier to make! Hot tip for anyone using a Magic Bullet to make them: do not add the baking powder before blending. Blend all the other ingredients, then stir in the baking powder. We had a few explosions before figuring this out 😉
Oops! Great tip!!
Make these all the time. Super easy and delicious!!
My new go-to pancake recipe!!! I purposefully have too ripe bananas almost all the time because of this recipe. I love the blender method – makes it so easy. I find that the perfect consistency of the batter occurs after I let it sit for a bit. Perfect pancakes every time!
Best easy breakfast!!
These are my go to easy pancakes! Kids love them.
Made these this morning and total failure , mix wouldn’t cook in the middle and started burning on top and wouldn’t flip so ended up with a lumpy half cooked mess.
So sorry you ran into issues, Meg! As I mention in the instructions, I recommend spreading out the batter a bit after adding it to your pan because it is thicker than normal pancake batter. That should help!
This is my go-to pancake recipe now- me and my kiddo love them! They’re very simple and quick to make, I’m a lazy cooker so there’s not very many things I make repeatedly because it feels like too much work haha, but this this recipe is revisited pretty frequently in my house now!
So easy and delicious! Glad the kiddos love them 🙂
I have been making these for myself and 4 year old for a few days on the run BC we ran out of raw milk so can’t have it usual porridge. I’ve been making it with out the milk but substituting for another liquid and it works perfectly. Very yummy and pretty clean ingredients, getting plenty of carbs and protein. For added protein someone could add Greek yoghurt to the top of them . I cooked in pork lard for the fat 🙂
Perfect! Glad everyone loved these!
Thank you for a good recipe. How can I modify for waffles?
Thank you.
I sometimes do waffles and just use the batter as is. Might need to add a little more oats. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Hi! I haven’t tested this recipe as waffle batter so I’m not 100% sure if the texture will turn out. Let me know if you try it!
I love this easy healthy way to make pancakes. The pancakes were delicious and every last one was eaten. I made the mistake of adding blueberries. They are much better to be added as a topping.
Perfect breakfast!
These are the only pancakes I make anymore! They are delicious and a great way to use up bananas. Made them a few days ago with some strawberries added into the batter.
Amazing! Great idea to add strawberries 🙂

I love this recipe and make it regularly with my 2-year-old as sous-chef. I make it with cows milk and mix it up with an immersion blender.
Perfect! Such a great breakfast!
I can’t use almond milk or anything nut based in my recipes. Can I use soy milk and vegan or plant based butter
Yes! Feel free to use any milk you’d like, along with plant based butter.
Can frozen bananas be used in this recipe?
Hi! Yes, I’d recommend thawing the bananas and draining off the liquid before using them.
Delicious and so easy to make!
Glad you enjoyed!
Thank you for your recipe! I needed one that was scaled down. I admit that I still only had one banana, however I forged ahead! I added a bit more milk, but no other changes were needed. These cooked up great and tasted even better! So satisfying and healthy. I spread a little peanut butter on top. Thanks so much
Perfect! So glad you enjoyed!
These are actually really good! I didn’t change the recipe at all. Cooked them in a cast iron skillet. The flavour is so good and they don’t fall apart during cooking either. I will definitely make then again 🙂
Perfect! Glad you enjoyed!
I LOVE these pancakes…..thank you so much for posting this recipe! I’m following an eating plan and wonder if you know how much sodium this recipe contains? Thanks for helping!
So glad you love them! We don’t include the sodium content in our nutritional facts because it can really vary depending on the ingredients used, adding salt to taste, etc.
Very nice and easy recipe, the pancakes were a little bland because my bananas weren’t too ripe but it still tasted nice with a little bit of maple syrup
I’m glad you still enjoyed! Give your bananas a bit more time next time around and they’ll be perfect 🙂
This recipe is my family’s current favorite breakfast. From my 2, 4 & 8 yr old to my husband we all love them. So easy to make and so delicious. I add a handful of blueberries and they get this beautiful blue color inside. Texture is so perfect. We sometimes slather peanut butter on them and then our maple syrup.
Love that! I’m all about adding PB on top 🙂
I had a few overripe bananas to use up, so I made these as breakfast-for-dinner tonight. I found myself eating over the stove while the remaining batches cooked, they were that good. So fluffy and delicious, and I love that everything just gets tossed into the blender—perfect for a lazy weekend! Thanks, Monique!
Amazing! Glad you loved them!
Awesome! Flavorful, super easy, and a great use for over-ripe bananas! My toddler ate 6 of them!
Amazing! So glad they were a hit!
Would this work with other fruit, like blueberries?
Hi! You can feel free to mix blueberries into the batter, but I would not recommend substituting the banana for another fruit.
This is seriously the only pancake recipe I make. It stays on its own tab on my phone browser just for the days I happen to run out. I make them in 3x batches and freeze them for my kids who easily throw back 6 of these in a sitting. I add a little peanut butter to boost protein, but it absolutely does not NEED it.
Amazing! So glad you love these!
These are wonderful! I used my Vitamix the first time but found I could not get all of the batter out, the mixture was too thick. The second time I modified the recipe. I used 3/4 cup of milk, 1 tsp cinnamon.. I used the Vitamix for blending all of the wet ingredients, eggs, milk, vanilla and bananas then added to a bowl that had all of the dry ingredients. I found these did not need any more sweetener, syrup, etc, They are perfect! Thanks so much for this recipe!
So glad these turned out! Feel free to add a little more milk if you’re finding the batter tough to blend, too 🙂
These turned out very nice. I used two Tbl spoons of flax meal in place of the egg I added it dry to the blender, and I used oat milk. Every thing else stayed the same. I will make them again, they are a healthy on the go snack. Thank you
Perfect! So glad you enjoyed!
delicious and fluffy!
These are really yummy, full of flavor. I used frozen bananas that I thawed and drained. Using the blender was a great idea. I will use this recipe again. Thank you!
I love this recipe.
My oatmeal banana pancakes are not sticking together. What are the binding agents that make the ingredients stick together?
Hi! Blending the ingredients should help them all bind. Did you measure everything correctly and blend it all until the batter was smooth?
Really great thank you!!
Made these this am. They were delicious, and now I have two more servings for the week!
These are very Delicious Just to eat Plain , they taste like banana cake.
We will make these again, Thank You
Love it!!
These are a dream to whip up and oh so yummy! Just wanted to share I used my immersion blender with great success 🙂
Perfect! Glad that worked out well!
These pancakes are excellent. Easily poured batter directly from the blender to the pan. Drizzled a little maple syrup and a few walnuts on the top. Healthy and filling. Will be using this recipe again and again.
Love it!!
I really liked these pancakes. Super easy to make all in the blender! I made WAY more than 9, as I probably made them a lot smaller. They had a really good texture and cinnamon taste!!
Perfect! Glad you enjoyed!
Oat banana pancakes are delicious 😀
So I just made these and thought they were so good! I go back to read the recipe and realized I forgot to add the eggs hahahahhaha but they were still delicious! I can just imagine how much better they will be with the eggs! Thank you for sharing this recipe!
Whoops! I’m glad they turned out anyway!
These pancakes are very good
Delicious thanks for sharing
So glad you loved them!
Really easy and delicious!! Didn’t have enough rolled oats so I used 1/2 cup oat flour with 1 cup oats and it still turned out great! My 2 yr old also really loves it 🙂
Perfect! Glad these were a hit!
HORRIBLE, inconsistent batter
Sorry to hear that! I’d love to help troubleshoot for you. What do you mean by “inconsistent?”
These were so good and very easy to make! Perfect Saturday morning breakfast!
So happy to hear that!
Made these several times, they are super easy to make and taste delicious.
Made these several times, added a scoop of chocolate protein powder they are super easy to make and taste delicious.
So happy you love them!
These were easy to make and delicious. Thank you for sharing the recipe.
Absolutely! Glad you enjoyed!
First, thank you for this recipe. I tried it this morning and my pancakes were so delicious ! Even my partner had some and it liked them better than normal pancakes. I followed the exact quantities for all ingredients except that I added a little dash of marple syrup and I was able to make quite a few pancakes, 9-10 so it’s at least for two people. I struggle a little at first to make them at first as they were hard to turn over in the pan as they were quite liquid but found my way after a few tries. Maybe I blended them too much… but nothing to do with the recipe:)
So glad they were a hit! If you’re finding that the batter is too thin, let it sit for a little bit to thicken up before cooking them 🙂
YUM! So easy, fluffy, and delicious. I added chopped walnuts to the batter and topped with a little maple syrup. Will definitely be making again!
Love that! Perfect breakfast 🙂
These are amazing and so easy to make. They’re foolproof. They’re consistency wise very similar to regular pancakes, and are super delicious. I cook them in butter rather than olive oil, and top them with a blueberry compote. So good.
Love that! The blueberry compote sounds delicious 🙂
The best banana pancake recipe and so easy to make! My husband and I are obsessed. We have been making them daily. I have been adding extra cinnamon and topping with nut butter, granola and a homemade chia mixed berry compote!
Amazing! So happy to hear that 🙂
These are some of the best pancakes I’ve ever had (that I’ve made) fluffy and so flavorful! I did end up using pumpkin pie spice instead of cinnamon and creamy oatmilk instead of Almond
Love it! Perfect breakfast 🙂
What do you suggest if the batter seems too liquid. Should I add more oats? I’m worried my bananas were more big than medium.
Thanks!
Hi! Let the batter sit for a few minutes and see if it thickens up, otherwise add a bit of oat flour (blended oats).
These were delicious! I added some vanilla protein powder to give some additional protein (decreased the oats by the protein powder amount). Added frozen blueberries and ate them without any syrup or toppings. Perfect amount of sweetness from the banana and the added blueberries! Will definitely make again.
Love it! Such a great breakfast 🙂
I made these yesterday and they were delicious! My family loved them.
So happy to hear that!
Hi, these look delicious! Can you make the mixture the night before and cook it in the morning?
Hi! The batter will thicken up a lot when it sits overnight, but if you want to try it I’d suggest mixing in a little milk before cooking them. Let me know if you give it a try!
These pancakes are so delicious. I’ve made them probably 10 times now. They’re dense yet moist, and are filling despite not feeling heavy after enjoying. Love this recipe!
Love that! Perfect breakfast.
These are absolutely delicious! The whole family loves them
Amazing! One of our go-to breakfasts, too 🙂
How can I store the batter?
Hi! You can store it in an airtight container in the fridge. You may need to add some milk when making the pancakes as the batter will thicken up significantly as it sits.
My family was on a vegan diet, and these pancakes were delicious. The first time I made them, I left out the eggs, and the pancakes still held together well
I’m glad they still worked out!
I really enjoyed these, and they were so easy! I used milk made from nonfat milk powder, a bit more salt, and made some with chocolate chips. A half batch made enough for my husband and I to have 2 medium pancakes each, which was perfect. I spread peanut butter on one, but they were surprisingly good without a topping. I think they’d be amazing with some strawberries on top. The texture is pleasantly dense while still being fluffy. These will definitely be a go-to for when I want a fun breakfast that still has nutritional value!
Perfect! So glad they were a hit!
Absolutely delicious!! The first recipe I’ve tried that makes great tasting pancakes that are easy to flip 👌🏼
Love that!!
Very delicious and easy to make!
I actually have done this pancakes 3 times now! First time followed the recipe to the T, perfect pancakes. 2nd time, something happened, not sure what and the batter was thick, still delicious. 😂 3rd time, followed the recipe but add vanilla vegan protein powder and added 1/4 more milk, perfect pancakes! 🥞 deliciousness Thanks for the recipe!
Amazing! Glad they’re a favorite!
These were so good! I added chopped pecans, unsweet Chocolate chunks and some blueberries! So delicious and extremely easy to make!
Love it!! Glad you enjoyed!
I’ve looked at a lot of heathy pancake recipes and this one caught my eye.
I’m glad it did. They were so delicious. I was impressed by how fluffy they were and the flavor was incredible.
Try this recipe, you’ll be glad you did. 😊
So glad you found this one! One of our favs 🙂
I love this recipe. It turned out great. I did add one extra ingredient, a tablespoon of maple syrup. It is now my go to for a pancake craving. Just add fresh fruit. I cook up all the batter and freeze them.
Perfect! So glad you love them!
Hi, just wondering if I can use steel cut oats or oat bran for this recipe? Thank you!
Hi! I wouldn’t recommend it as the texture will likely be much different.
Can I use quick oats in this?
That should work!
These are the fluffiest banana oat pancakes I’ve ever made! Super simple, healthy, and delicious! I added a chia seed, hemp seed, flax mixture as well as a scoop of cashew butter (could do peanut butter too) to increase the nutrients for my growing babies! I love adding the seed mix to any pancake I make. Love that these are made of oats and have the natural sweetness from the bananas! Will be adding blueberries to my future batches. This is a must print recipe!
Amazing! So glad you love them!
These pancakes are awesome
Glad you enjoyed!
Hi, Not sure what I did wrong, but flavor was delish and pancakes looked amazing, but no matter how long and what temperature I used, the insides were raw.
Hi! So strange. Are you adding just 1/3 cup of batter for each pancake to the pan? Too much batter can cause them to not cook all the way through. And are you cooking on medium heat – ensuring that the first side (when you drop them on the pan) set on the edges with little bubbles?
Absolutely brilliant recipe, I keep waking up on weekend mornings eager to make these yet again. Feels a bit like a life hack to have such an easy method. I serve them various ways, sometimes with extra sliced bananas on top, or a scattering of berries, or a drizzle of agave syrup, maybe some coconut flakes, a bit of mango. But they’re phenomenal on their own, too.
Amazing! So glad you love this one!
I cooked them in a dab of butter and had them without any syrup. The bananas alone add enough sweetness. So good!
Perfect! Glad you enjoyed!
Possibly the best banana oatmeal pancakes I’ve tried. And so simple. Definitely my new go-to!
So happy to hear that!
My first-ever banana pancakes from a different recipe had turned out quite disastrously, but I decided to give it another try. And, well, I love oats, and this recipe just jumped right up at me, so, of course, I dived right into it. The result? I might become radioactive from the amount of bananas I’ll be consuming in this food that I will unapologetically make every single day from now on.
Best banana pancakes ever! Glad you love them 🙂
Phenomenonal! I’m calling them guilt free pancakes!
The best! So glad you enjoyed!
These pancakes are so delicious! I did tweak the recipe slightly – I subbed 1/2 cup of the oats with protein powder and added a couple tablespoons of chia seeds. A lot of nutrition for very little effort, thank you for such a great recipe!
Perfect! So glad you enjoyed 🙂
This recipe was amazing, easy and delicious. The children loved it and if you add chocolate chips- *chefs kiss*
Will be using this recipe from now on. Thank you!
So happy to hear that!
No kidding! I only made it so that I could use up the last egg I’d had left… and forgot to use the egg. Good news: they’re just as tasty & vegan. Bad news: I still have that one egg left.
Haha no way! Glad they were still tasty!
So easy and delicious. We make these every week!
So happy to hear that!
Quick, easy and delicious! I’m a big fan of healthy snacks that include fruits and cereal but no sugar, and this is a perfect example that can even allow some tweakings like trying other fruits or replace the almond milk by greek yogurt for instance, though I usually follow the original recipe and only add blueberries on top of the pancakes.. just love them!! Thanks 🙂
I absolutely loved this recipe! the ingredients are things that you have at home, and it’s easy to follow. The results were fantastic and didn’t takes like those health-nut alternative recipes while still being healthy. For some sweetness, I added some honey to my batter. Thank you!
These pancakes sounded so good. I found these to be really bland, too dense, and the recipe made 7 instead of 9. Yes, I used 1/3 cup measurements. I think I will play with the measurements to see if I can save them. I was shocked not to see baking soda in the ingredients. Thanks for the foundation.
Sorry to hear that! Were your bananas super ripe? That’s what gives these pancakes the right amount of sweetness. I typically use baking powder in my pancake recipes, too, which is what makes them fluffy.
I have made this recipe sooo many times for my toddler and I — it has always been a hit! My little one has been eating these since since he was a baby and thankfully has devoured them. I like that it doesn’t have added sugar for my toddler, but also enjoy it myself :). Thank you for the recipe!
Amazing! One of our favs, too 🙂
These pancakes were so good! I followed the recipe exactly, except used soy milk instead of almond milk. I made them for a crowd and they were a hit, especially with our 10 month-old-grandson. The bananas make them naturally sweet.
Perfect! So happy to hear that 🙂
This is my absolute favorite recipe that I found for my toddler. We’ve been making these weekly for 3 years now… I’ve shared the recipe with other moms… I eat them as a snack. I’ve made them exact to the recipe and they’re perfect – I’ve also added a ton of ingredients in over time and they still are still beautiful. We add chia seeds and a big scoop of any nut butter. Thank you a million times for this recipe – you saved snack time 🙂
Made these twice now. They are exceptionally moist and delicious! I didn’t even use the vanilla because I didn’t have any at the house. Cooks just like regular pancakes and taste amazing. Thanks for sharing!
One of our favs for a reason! Glad you loved them!
Delicious! Fvorite homeade pancake recipe ever- and protein packed!
So happy to hear that!
Amazing! My new breakfast obsession. Thank you!!
So happy to hear that!
I only had buttermilk and they still turned out great. Easiest way to use up brown bananas. I’ll be making these in the future too.
Love that!
Taste was fantastic. But as I was cooking the pancakes they just kind of fall apart and don’t hold their shape at all and burn quickly. I turned down the heat to medium low and covered it to see if it would help it to firm up and cook on the inside and not burn the outside but that didn’t help either. Not sure what I’m doing wrong.
So strange! What was the batter texture like? And did you add just 1/3 cup of batter to the skillet at a time?
These were very good. I had mine plain with a cup of coffee. For my taste I would double the cinnamon. The batter was loose so these cook up better as silver dollar pancakes. I may try them again with a little less milk and may add some honey. I can also imagine them as waffles topped with pecans.
A little honey sounds delicious! Glad you enjoyed 🙂
I have tried many pancake recipes in my quest to find a great one without flour. These are, hands-down, the best oatmeal pancakes I have ever had! The recipe could not be easier, and it is super easy to cut in half, or double for a crowd. In my quest for lower cholesterol food, I substituted liquid egg whites for the whole eggs, and they still turned out perfect (I have made them with whole eggs and without, just to check)! Thank you for creating this fantastic recipe!
Amazing! So glad you love this one!
